Would give negative stars if I could. Ordered a cat tree in April of 2024 and have been getting the run around on when they will ship it. Paid for the order in full with a check. Tom the owner will no longer return calls or send a refund. Do not order from this company. I've contacted Agri Feed Pet Supply 865-584-3959 which sells the M&F products and represents Molly & Friends but they can't even get anywhere with Tom on when orders will ship. Really disappointing. We ordered cat trees in January. We Venmo'd Tom Grant in January - the products are still not received and after months of back and forth calls and false promises we requested a refund - it was never sent. Venmo can't refund the charge and suggested we file a police report. Dealt with Tom Grant and he's since stopped responding completely (last contact May), and the phone number he gave no longer works. The BBB reports reflect that this is not an accredited business and other customers have experienced the exact same thing.... We just want this resolved with a refund after 9 long months. read more

Unfortuantely like many reviewing Molly & Friends, years ago I purchased a cat tree not directly from them. It was well made. I ordered two directly from the company 6 months ago. I have yet to receive a product, and have been given the same excuses for months- similar to others who have reported sending money in good faith and never receiving the product. It's a shame. They used to do a good job. I have asked for a full refund. I am hoping they will refund my money. I ordered two large pieces to the tune of $1718.50. I've been a fool- as is apparent from reading how others have been similarly taken in. This company should receive negative stars as it has obviously become a way of ripping people off, and no longer a company that is making a product. read more

I ordered a cat tree on the phone on December 20, 2021. I paid $558.00 via credit card. The cat tree was promised to be delivered within 8 weeks. 8 weeks came and went without receiving this cat tree. I began calling and emailing to find out why I haven't received the product. They did not return calls and emails for weeks. After finally getting in touch with the owner, he continued to promise delivery. The summer of 2022, I requested a refund. The refund was promised to me within 2 weeks. Of course I received no refund. It is 13 months later and I have still not received a refund. Do not order from this company. Many disgruntled customers are complaining of the same problem. It seems, he takes orders but no longer makes the products. I will be filing a claim in small claims court and also I'm in contact with an investigative consumer new reporter to investigate this business. They should not be allowed to advertise and sell products on a website but then don't deliver them. I have also filed an FTC complaint. read more

They promise the tree and they've promised a refund but of course they have not done so. They are committing fraud by advertising via a website, taking orders over the phone, charging our credit cards and not delivering products nor refunds. Molly and Friends makes a great product. By far the best cat tower available. Unfortunately, the customer service is very poor. Although I was told the the order would take six to eight weeks I was not prepared for six months. I called many times with no return call. When I did finally make contact, Tom explained that he has severe staffing issues due to Covid and apologized for not returning calls. He admitted that he has left a number of customers hanging. Wow, what a great business! If you have a cat, you must go see their cat trees! I have never had such a great, well made cat tree. I just moved to GNV and wanted t buy a new tree for our cat. I googled "Cat trees Gainesville" and found them that way. They are on SE 4th and when you drive by there are no signs. But just pull in and they will show you everything. They are so nice! The cat trees are very well made. They mainly sell them on Amazon. But here they are, made in USA, made in Gainesville! The quality is amazing! They give special discounts to locals! I was able to put it in the back of our Mini and drive it home. My cat loves it!! Seriously, what a great business right here in our city! read more

Ordered a cat tree with Tim on 7/16/22 and paid 569.00. I was told it would be 8-10 weeks but closer to 8 weeks. Initially Tim was pleasant to talk to when he was taking my money, but that all changed. I contacted Molly and friends the second week of September to see what the status was. Tim told me it was due to ship on 9/22. I received no email on 9/22 indicating it shipped so I called Molly and Friends to see what the issue was. Again I spoke with Tim. He gave me the run a round and told me it would be 2 more weeks and that there was a problem with production. I asked him to just refund my money. At that point he became very incorrigible. He was argumentative and talking over me. I asked him to do a simple menial task and refund my money. (they certainly took it quick enough). He began telling me that he could not process the refund and that his brother Tom handles that. I asked him to have Tom call me. Tom ended up calling me and was just like the brother Tim (the apple obviously does not fall too far from the tree). He was rude, argumentative and incorrigible. Again when I asked for a refund he became irate and used hurricane Ivan as an excuse. What does a hurricane have to do with refunding a customer? He began screaming at me and saying that I will not find a better cat tree anywhere else. This is by far the WORST company and customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. It is obvious this is a company that cannot fulfill orders in the time frame promised and are in over their heads. I DO NOT recommend this company. I purchased several small cat trees by M & F earlier last year. Last November I ordered a large version from Hayneedle. Several months of waiting (they are good quality and I have patience for handmade quality items) resulted in a cancelled order. In the interim, there was back and forth with Hayneedle. I also called M & F directly. Owner sounded frazzled, I won't get into details but there seems to be major production issues. I scoured other retailers/ amazon and although M& F seem to be ubiquitously listed, the phrase "out of stock" trails the listed item. 2 stars because of quality of the items I already have. I truly hope they can get their act together because of the very good quality ( and whimsy in some of the designs ). read more
