This experience was so much nicer than I even anticipated. Susan and her staff are warm, friendly, and Susan knows from experience how much BC sucks. If you'd like to get a wig, call Susan first. She recommends that clients schedule an appointment; this is definitely necessary! My mom received top notch, one-on-one service from Susan and her wig consultant, Shannon, and the consult and wig selection took us about two hours (not sure if that's average, but if you or your mom is picky, leave some time). They offer high quality synthetic wigs and human hair wigs, all of which are customized to each woman's tastes (and head size). We ended up selecting a human hair wig, which is pricey, but definitely worth the expenditure. We'll head back in two weeks when my mom's hair begins to fall out to have my mom's hair shaved off and the wig styled and fitted. Susan stated that this normally takes about two hours (there's a cute looking restaurant next door - Mae's - that looks nice to chill in while you're waiting). Susan also sells cute hats, skin products and other random products that you never thought you'd need... If you're in the metro-Detroit area, this is definitely worth a visit. Anyway, I rambled long enough, but it's hard to know what to expect so hopefully this helps you. Susan's is just a really nice, calming place. I can't recommend it enough.

Michigan, etc. I see she has good reviews so I trusted her. She did a full "dramatic" set on my virgin lashes. During the application my eyes were burned from fumes coming from the lash glue. She mentioned using a different glue then continued, instead using a fan to blow air on my face. When I left my eyes were sensitive and swollen. A few days later my eyes stopped watering and I liked the look of the lashes. One week later I had lost several of my own lashes and extensions, which were now falling out in clumps. Megan refused to correct her work and became confrontational. In fact, this was her reply: "I think all of this is to get some type of refund which is why I'm not going to waste my time or yours with other glues." I'm writing this review because it's been a few months and I have been to a real professional remove and replace them with a weeks rest in between. We both noticed she had applied (glued) one extension to several lashes, clumping them together. This shortcut resulted in my loosing several lashes when the extensions fell off. I do not recommend Megan for lash extensions. Perhaps she is better with Makeup, I don't know. However, I do know from my own experience that there are other lash professionals who stand behind their work and know how to apply the lashes correctly to achieve a beautiful result with minimal damage to your natural lashes. Update: I'm still seeing the same lash artist who fixed my lashes after Megan's mishap. My lashes have since grown back and are looking beautiful with the addition of extensions. Whenever I have fallout or any issues at all I'm able to book a repair between appointments. No problems. No excuses. No selfies. I will let Megan's response speak for itself.

I got Megan's name from a friend (who was in a wedding that she did) and did a trial with her the day of my shower, so we could talk about colors and what I liked. She is such a sweet person and an incredibly talented makeup artist. She 100% listened to what I was looking for and any concerns I had, and above all, made me look like my best self! I also loved that she uses variety of different makeup brands so you're not all just one specific counter (a couple people recommended to stay away from MAC for my wedding since it tends to be more dramatic and that's not what I was going for). Megan's pricing was also really reasonable and it included everything - full face, eyelashes (in my opinion, a MUST!) and airbrushing. We had a total of 10 girls (including me, my mom and my groom's mom), so she brought an assistant with her as well and they were both amazing! They arrived on time and stayed with us until we all looked gorgeous. ALL of my girls (and my VERY picky M-I-L) are still talking about how good they looked! Thank you so much, Megan!!!

This was absolutely the WORST experience in my entire life. I had been getting my lashes done for 10+ years and never have I gotten this DISAPPOINTED. The first three pictures were the result from a NEWBIE technician (white lady with big glasses) who did not know what she was doing. She firstly stunned my eyes while taking off my old lashes, then did a "volume set" on my eyes. You seriously called this a volume set? NOTHING about this looked like the pictures they provided in the beginning (what's the point confirming with me in the first place)??? What's even more irritating is that they claimed it was my fault for having "short", "less" lashes to begin with. The fourth picture is when I got back to my usual technician (BLAME IT ON YOUR SKILLS NOT MY LASHES). Such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TEAM AND THE OWENER). To conclude, DO NOT COME HERE.
