I recently needed to get an estimate for a procedure. Even though I had been in the office just a week earlier and they already knew what treatment I needed, they refused to provide even a high-level estimate over the phone. Instead, they insisted I schedule another appointment because they claimed they didn't have the procedure codes needed to generate a quote. That explanation doesn't make sense to me. It's hard to believe a dental office can't reference common procedure codes to provide a ballpark estimate for a known treatment plan. I wasn't asking for an exact insurance breakdown--just a general idea of what the service would cost so I could make an informed decision. The lack of transparency and the need to schedule another visit just to get pricing feels unnecessary and inconvenient. While I have confidence in Dr. Gebhart, the office's administrative and billing process left me disappointed.

On top of that, they tried to pressure me into scheduling a wisdom teeth removal for the very next day, which immediately felt rushed and unnecessary. Trusting my instincts, I sought a second opinion from another dentist, and, unsurprisingly, none of what I was told was accurate. There were no urgent issues, no need for any special procedures, and certainly no reason for immediate surgery. It felt like I was being pushed into expensive treatments I didn't actually need. To make matters worse, they attempted to get me to pay over $8,000 upfront. During my visit, the dentist also made me extremely uncomfortable by repeatedly touching me, including my chest area, while speaking to me. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The only positive part of my visit was the woman who assisted with my X-rays. She was kind, professional, and made me feel at ease. After deciding not to move forward with any of their recommendations, I called to request a refund for appointments I had scheduled in advance. What should have been a simple process turned into a frustrating ordeal.... it took four phone calls and over a month and a half to finally receive my refund. Overall, this experience was stressful, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointing. I would absolutely not recommend this office to anyone and will never return.

I bought a Groupon to Advanced Dentistry and have gone twice now; once for a cleaning/X-rays/care plan, and once for some fillings. Both visits were an excellent experience. I had a 30 minute wait for the first visit and a 10 minute wait for the second, but once I was in the dentist's chair, my experience went as well as one could expect. Both the dental hygienist and Dr. Bowman were incredibly friendly, gentle, and informative. You can tell Dr. Bowman is very passionate about his job and really cares about his patients. The office is very clean and up-to-date. I had no pain with either visit- something new to my dental history. Normally when getting a filling, I have to grunt for more anesthesia while the dentist's fumbling around in my mouth and pinching my cheek with his instruments. Somehow, this time around, I was never in any pain throughout the procedure. Yay! I won't be so afraid to go back now, thank goodness. Their office staff is also very friendly and they send out email and text reminders/confirmations for your appointments, which are always helpful. The office is extremely busy and popular; - Late, last week, I was initially given an appointment by the Lead Receptionist - "Luz" for Late June 2023; - My schedule is tricky - so this was the best that they could do - I can only do Wednesday Afternoons; - "Luz" promised me that she would keep an eye out for any cancelations; - I honestly didn't believe her! Yesterday evening, my luck - I got a call from "Luz" with a last-minute cancelation - Yes! - My lucky day! Office is very easy to navigate to and has plenty of parking available for patients. I cracked my wisdom tooth, and was having excruciating pain. They were able to get me in 3 days later (my choice because of work), although they were available to get me in the day after I called. I had Dr. Sahil Vasa, and omg what a great and calming experience. I've never had a tooth pulled, so I was VERY anxious, scared, and crying. He came in, very calm, and talked me through the whole experience. I had questions that he answered calmly & thoroughly. I made a good choice coming here, and definitely lucked out getting him as a dentist. His assistant, Kentral, was just as calming & welcoming. She talked to me the whole time, and took my mind off the tooth pulling. When I was finished, all the ladies in the office were so kind helping me check out. They even made me laugh before I left out. It almost felt like home being there. HIGHLY recommend.
