The confirmation system is the main issue: if you don't confirm within their text window (for context; I was already having phone issues and not receiving some texts a few weeks ago) then you get a follow-up message giving you only one hour before your appointment is canceled. That's unrealistic for people who work and can't always get to their phone right away. I called back during my lunch break three minutes after the cancellation text came in and was told my appointment had already been given away. In three minutes? That doesn't make sense. Then suddenly I was told I could have my appointment back after I complained. How can it be given away and then magically available again? Either I was misled, or the scheduling process is completely disorganized. On top of that, the communication was unprofessional. Being told "that was my bad" & with an attitude the whole time we spoke by someone in management is unacceptable in a medical office. It's disappointing because the dentist themselves is great, but the front office experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly suggest better training in professional communication or hiring staff who understand how to speak to patients respectfully.

I…read moream in the service industry and am very critical of doctors, dentists, salons, restaurants, etc etc and I can't be happier about my experiences so far with them. I slipped and fell a little over a month ago, landing on my face and needed a lot of work to get my front teeth fixed. I called first thing in the morning after this happened and Dr. Denis was able to take me in right away. After assessing my situation, he began work on my smile immediately. He made me feel so comfortable, I was nice and numb while he was working on me (my first visit took almost 3 hours). I was very upset about what had happened to my teeth and he put me at ease, explaining that he was going about helping me the same way he would if it was his wife in his chair. I've had about 5 visits in the past month and a half, with at least 2 more to go, but I'm looking as good as new. I recommend him to everyone I meet. Even friends who live in the city I tell to come down to the suburbs and see him. He has really made a situation that could be so painful and ugly be somewhat easy and comforting. If you are looking for a dentist in the south suburbs, definitely come meet Dr. Denis Bartz.

Dr. Fiorenza and his staff are lifesavers (teeth savers?)!!…read more To keep it short, I hadn't seen a dentist since my horrible experiences as a kid with an unnecessarily cruel 'pediatric' dentist. Naturally, the condition of my teeth reflected this. I hadn't seen a dentist in roughly eight or so years, and it had been even longer than that since I'd had any sort of cleaning, so naturally I finally needed to get a couple root canals. After that was done, my endodontist recommended me to Dr. Fiorenza. So, I'm a huge baby with pain, but miraculously, after two crowns (one of which was built up from basically nothing!), my first deep cleaning in over a decade, and now several fillings, I've been totally fine. My smile is becoming one that I'm happy to show off now and my oral health is improving every day. His staff are extremely friendly and personable, and will always strike up a conversation. Dr. Fiorenza is very gentle and always tells you what he is going to do, and how he will do it. I've been going to him since January and I've already referred my mom and sister. I cannot recommend him enough. Even if you haven't seen a dentist in years; if I can do it, anybody can, and Dr. Fiorenza is definitely the guy to see!
