From start to finish, each team was dependable, professional, incredibly thorough, paid attention to every detail, friendly, reassuring, and highly knowledgeable, helping us feel confident throughout the entire mitigation (Jacob, Chad, Drake, Alex) and restoration processes. This also applies to the finance department~ Linda was most accommodating in all aspects, providing exceptional customer service. Servpro addressed any concerns we had, kept us informed throughout the process, and often worked directly with our insurance company, making our stressful situation much easier to manage. Most impressive was observing Rob and Jacob during the restoration process. This duo team replaced the damaged drywall, painted it, installed new flooring, restored baseboards/ siding, painted the baseboards, then put furniture, etc. back to their original areas. It came with some dust, a less than desirable looking basement bathroom, a carpet in need of cleaning, and lots of windows to be cleaned. We were moving in a week and in search of a local cleaning company that wasn't a chain. I came across Clean & Pristine, and not only did they offer a lot of services, but their website was very detailed and easy to use. I accidentally booked a carpet cleaning separate from the spring cleaning where I could add carpet cleaning on. I reached out to Mike and he fixed it right away. He was so friendly and eager to help. The last owner said the house was clean, so I ended up cancelling. Well, it wasn't as clean as I had hoped, so I ended up booking another appointment online. Unfortunately, the time was mixed up so Mike contacted me right away to fix it. Fast forward to Monday, cleaning day, and the first blizzard of the winter season. I let him know that he didn't need to come out and we could reschedule. He had said he was going to still try and make it, and said he would be in touch. The weather was way too bad, so we rescheduled for Wednesday. The notifications were super helpful. Not only did I receive an email, but a text as well! Mike used our garage code and sent updates and pictures the whole time which was really nice! Apparently I had forgotten to choose carpet cleaning this time, so when I reached out to ask him if the carpet cleaner was non toxic (which it is!) He said he could get his machine and clean it and not to worry. Our house looked AMAZING and I felt so much better about moving in! We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. Our attic is…read morecramped and not easy to move around in, but the estimator did a very thorough inspection of the area, taking pictures and videos of everything, before explaining his recommendations and supplying us with a quote. The price was competitive and due to how detail-oriented and communicative the estimator was, we decided to proceed with Insulwise. A three person crew arrived at our house at 9:30 AM. They worked efficiently and removed our whole house fan, installed a platform for storage, thoroughly covered up open areas in our attic, before blowing in insulation throughout the space. The team leader was very communicative and helpful in explaining their process, and I barely noticed their presence as I was working on the floor below them. They ran a test on the air leakage of the home before and after the installation and I was very impressed with the results. They did a good job cleaning up after and they were done by 3:00 PM. I highly recommend Insulwise for anyone looking to lower their AC and Heating bills.

We have yet to see any energy savings, as promised on their website. Taking weather changes into account which was about 25% colder so far, we also used about 25% more gas to heat the home at the same settings. On the plus side, the room above the garage and second floor bedroom below the attic are more comfortable and less drafty, so we 'll keep tabs and hopefully we'll see better results in the summer with a/c usage.
