    chicken caesar wrap

On a road trip from KC to Denver, my husband and I stopped about halfway in Colby, KS to go to McDonald's for lunch, but when we pulled into the parking lot I saw Mokas Cafe and got heart eyes. "I bet they have peach iced tea," I thought to myself (and they did!) I told my husband, I'm going to check out Mokas and meet him back at the car. (They do have a drive thru by the way.) When I walked in I loved it even more than I did from the outside! Brand new, clean, quiet, short line (a complete 180 from what was going on next store) and a menu of fresh, healthy ingredients that looked made for me. Soup of the day... tomato basil which I'm sure went perfectly with their grilled cheese. I landed on the chicken caesar wrap and an iced tea. But would love to try more of their coffee options next time! I was handed a number and my cup, got my tea and took a seat. Within a few minutes a friendly staff member came out and handed me my food to-go with a huge smile and have a nice day. The wrap wasn't huge for the price and they accidentally gave me apples instead of the chips I ordered, but overall I was satisfied and will return. After all, food is fuel and this is the kinda fuel you want to keep you going for a day on the road!

We were on our way through Colby and saw this coffee shop on Yelp. WAY exceeded expectations on coffee, service and cleanliness. Easy to have conversation as opposed to Starbucks where music is always playing. We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were tasty and I have included photos. Cost is reasonable.

Wow! This was near the truck stop, so we decided to try it. Great Coffee the pannenni turkey sandwich was amazing. We will be back, next time we're driving this route. Service was excellent... clean and inviting dining area.

Stopped here on our drive back to Denver. I ordered an iced chai with 3 shots and the chipotle breakfast sandwich. The girl working the front counter I think is new and didn't really know the drinks it seemed. I had ordered two shots in my chai and she told me it comes with 3 so I said okay. When I got the drink, there were no shots in it, but the lady in the back remade the drink for me. The drink wasn't the greatest, I could tell it was powdered chai, so I wouldn't really recommend it, but my brother and sister-in-law ordered lattes and they said those were okay. The sandwiches we all ordered were pretty good! The cafe itself is pretty cute and I like the moody lighting. Lots of options when it comes to drinks and food. From coffee to energy drinks, seems like they have it all, I just happened to order and not great drink option If I happen to pass through here again, I'll have to try one of the refreshers or energy drinks!

Great coffee, incredibly friendly service, very clean place with fresh food. Amazing pit stop right off the highway!

We came today and they were soft opening - The staff was so friendly and pleasant both on the speaker and at the window. They were training today and comped our whole meal and everything! All of the food on the menu looks absolutely amazing with many options - Will absolutely need multiple return visits to try everything

You would never expect to find a nice restaurant like this adjacent to a Truckstop of America but that's exactly what you'll find here. Nice, casual restaurant with good wraps, sandwiches, and salads; andprompt service. Free Wi-Fi too. A great alternative to the neighboring McDonald's, Burger King, and Subway.

What a great find! This is my first visit to a Mokas and I'm impressed. It's clean with a nice laid back atmosphere, the Baristas are very knowledgeable, and the food is fresh and healthy. The best I can compare it to is a Starbucks on steroids. They not only have all the coffee combinations Starbucks has (possibly more) but they serve breakfast all day and their lunch sandwiches and wraps are delicious. The lunches come with a side of chips, waffle fries (which were yummy), or apple slices. They also offer fresh salads and a wide variety of pastries. I'm so impressed I might look into buying a franchise myself. Stop by if you get a chance.

Colby, Kansas, March 2026…read more The small restaurant has 10 tables. It It sits on the corner of an antique strip mall. Pretty basic inside the restaurant. The salad bar is located right next to the one and only bathroom. The menu has many sandwiches to choose from. It has fewer entree selections. The waitress was new the night we went. She was nice and extremely helpful. She was an older lady, and I only say that for clarification of the other waitress who had long black hair with ponytail. Tried to get her attention a few times, and even though the restaurant is extremely small, she passed by as if though she did not see us. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the fried chicken. Both came with an ice cream size scoop of mashed potatoes and corn. The potatoes and chicken were covered in a white gravy. The chicken was hot and tender. The mashed potatoes were flavorless as was the gravy. The meals are also accompanied with a roll. Butter is in individual packets on the table. The chicken fried steak was thick and had little breading. It would have been better if it was a thinner pounded steak with more breading as that was more traditional to my liking. When they bring your check, it comes with a warm chocolate chip cookie. Cute idea! The ambience was odd and not welcoming. The location was rather depressing. The food was OK. I would give this place overall 3.5 stars.
