We probably checked five other Korean restaurants before settling on Jantchi. The restaurant quickly became busy during lunch. However, service was quick and I got my much needed soft tofu soup (soondubu) with the accompanying side dishes in a timely manner.
I ordered the lunch soondubu, which was as expected, a bit watered down, but still hit the spot with the sesame oil flavor I was craving for. The egg is already cracked into the soup, which is not as hot as I'm used to.
My boyfriend ordered the bibimbap, which came out in the stone pot and was pretty tasty ! We doubled down on the gochujang, and it was enough to keep our Korean cravings at bay for the remaining trip.
