Michelin Star Korean restaurant ~ contemporary service serving traditional cuisine. French accented waiter illuminating throughout the tasting menu was a unique feel of quality service elevating the common Korean dishes to a higher level of appreciation. Beautiful interior design, a thoughtful layout of French & Korean style. Surprised not to find a newer selection of today's craft Korean soju & makgeolli. Serving the common budget brands at this establishment was décevant.

Seated without reservation at 7pm but they filled up quickly afterwards. Seating was new experience as we sat on ground with table was ground level. Food was fresh and delicious. Server cooked food for us--only downfall was electricity kept dying at the restaurant--due to a short somewhere. Other thank that A++

This is an elegant, up-scale Korean bbq restaurant. It seems reservations are recommended but I was able to be seated immediately on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. Everything is strikingly clean. They serve with gorgeous gold utensils and stone plateware . To start, I had the kimchee pancake; the consistency was not quite what I remember from ktown in NYC and oddly reminded me more of an American pancake. Nevertheless, not a bad dish. For the main, I had the bulgogi, which was fresh and absolutely delicious! The marinate was so good, I even preferred it without the spicy dipping sauce. Sometimes the meat can be very fatty and it was not the case here. It also came with a number of banchan dishes including kimchee, radish, potato, lotus root, broccoli, and seaweed. I did find it a little odd that the rice is not complimentary with the meat entree; an additional 3€ if you like. Note they didn't mind speaking in English, which was a relief given my god-awful French. Overall, great experience.

This is an awesome Korean restaurant in Le Marais. Good ambiance, great presentation of the Korean food that is yummy. Maybe on a little expensive side if you compare the price to the AYCE BBQ places in the US or those in Saint Anne. However it's worth visiting. We ordered two 'Mountain' set menu and it was good. A couple of downside: service gets slow when it's crowded. The ribeye was not so tender although galbi was good.

Amazing KBBQ in Paris. Good location in Le Marais. Steep prices, but worth it for the quality of meat and quantity of side dishes.

    Staters yummy

It's a relatively new restaurant in le Marais, so it was clean. The food and service were all great, so I highly recommend this place.

We were so happy to find this restaurant at first. But on our second visit, they put us in the upstairs area KNOWING it would close within 30 mins. We thought the restaurant was closing in 30 so we ate super fast. Despite doing so, they rushed us twice. After going downstairs we saw many customers still downstairs and was told that only upstairs was closing. WHY DID YOU PUT US UPSTAIRS THEN? We complained to the server and owner, both of them just shrugged. We are Asians - my husband is Korea actually. This is so embarrassing when our own kind in a foreign country treats people this way. I do not recommend coming here until their attitude improves.

The restaurant was quite busy, and there is seating on two floors. We sat on the ground level, cooled off with some Cass beers, and ordered away. Definitely get the spicy squid - it was very flavorful, spicy without kicking your butt, and oh so tender. Skip the Korean fried chicken, which had an odd texture. While we didn't have the largest assortment of banchan, they were all quite good. The haricot vert was a little odd, as I have never had that in Korea, but I guess it makes perfect sense in Paris :). Prices are very reasonable, and service was fast. Definitely a nice spot for Korea food in a convenient location.

Unfortunately, they don't offer hot stone bowls, so the rice was not crispy. I hope they add this option to their menu because I would pay extra for it. I got their lunch set and it was totally worth it for less than 13€ (the price depends on which entree you pick). The vegetable fried dumplings were small but delicious. I was so full at the end and couldn't even finish. The only thing I wish they did was to not "dilute" the spiciness, but this is my second time eating Korean food in Paris and we noticed in general the spicy level is much more mild here than in Korea or the States. My friend ordered tteok-bokki and it came out more orange than red. I also used a lot of the sauce for my bibimbap, but still couldn't taste any spicy.

We ordered the fried chicken which was delicious but the meat could have been better quality. For the meal, I ordered the kimchi stew which was way way way too sweet and my boyfriend got the dolsot Bobimbap and he found it very plain. Our meals each came with three side dishes and a starter of choice. We both got the ravioli and it was super dry, like they just reheated it. The food came out crazy fast so this really is questionable. The check came out to be 32€ so the prices are low but there isn't much to write about in terms of taste. Bathrooms are located downstairs. I'll probably come try the rice cakes with ramen but I wouldn't come back for anything else.

This is highly recommended as it's a small place, and they accepted very few diners without reservations on the night we visited. The interior is quite simple, but the staff were very friendly and spoke pretty good English. There is a tiny restroom upstairs. We each had the "opera" set menu which included fried dumplings, soup, and a choice of entrees. Everything was quite decent. The dumplings were hot and crispy with tasty filling but seemed like they were store bought and not made in house. The soup was decent but a bit bland. I had the bulgogi for my entree which was grilled at the table. It was also decent but not particularly flavorful. It was tender though. Overall a perfectly decent meal for your Korean fix in Paris.

I tried a typical Korean white wine (7€ for a glass). It was made from plum, so it's very fruity and sweet. I ordered chicken wings for an entrée and Uke Bibimbap for my main plate. The chicken wings were freshly fried and placed in a sweet sauce with some vegetables. It wasn't spicy at all. I wish the chicken would've been fried crispy tho, the textures would've been better. Compared to bibimbap, Uke bibimbap is placed on a hot plate with the beef still raw on top. The heat from the plate will cook it as you mix all the ingredients together. I added some soy sauce and gochujang to increase the flavors and must I say, this dish fulfilled my Korean food cravings. I loveeeeeeed it so much! Will definitely dream of eating this dish again.
