Not bad. And yet, not memorable. The bottom line: fair price for the quality and quantity that we got but I'm sure there are better places in Paris. We started with an assortment of tempura battered and fried veggies and shrimp served with soy sauce... meh. After having the ones from Kunitoraya (see my review) these were amateurish at best. The BBQ on the grill in front of us was on par. Nothing spectacular but good enough. We had 2 orders of the entrecôte, 1 côté de boeuf, and 1 duck. This was recommended by a Korean friend as the things they do best here and not to bother with anything else. It of course came with unlimited sides that you can see in all the pictures. My favorite was the kimchi. Spicy and pickled just right. I had my first experience with fermented rice drink which is like a sweet beer with 6% alcohol. Not bad. (10Euro) There is a good selection of soju and other Korean drinks starting at 14 euro. Expect to leave smelling like oil and smoke but what did you expect if you're in a Korean BBQ?

Wow! Wow ! Wow ! I loved this place ! By far the best food I have had in Paris . Server brings you the protein and you do the rest. A compliment of almost 10 sides , rice, soup and salad? Can't beat that. But honestly , the flavor is so delicious I'm already thinking about coming tomorrow . What an experience ! I would highly recommend trying this spot . Delicious !

Very good lunch menus. For 14€ you have a menu with Entrance, Main, Thea or Coffee. We had chicken and beef BBQ, it came with many complements and some rice. Beef was incredible!

Fantastic food! We had a beef barbecue for two and the rice cake dessert. They were both delicious!

Authentic Korean food - just like in Korea! Love the beef BBQ and bibimbap (fried rice cooked in a hot stone bowl), delicious!

Really good Korean food in a small cozy and artistic place...won year-to-year awards. Highly…read morerecommend if you are craving Korean food in Paris!

I am happy to report that Dokkebi now sets a sunnyside up egg atop its bibimbap. For a while there…read morethey simply adorned their hot bowls with thin strips of scrambled egg, which didn't give the traditional Korean dish the sumptuous consistency it needed. It's a small place, and has had its Christmas decorations up since early October so it feels even smaller and cozier these days. Very attentive staff. I usually go with the dinner menu formula: a bibimbap with the meat of your choice (beef for me), preceded by two starters of your choosing. I always get the gyoza and something else, either the kimchi pancake (slightly spicy) or the glass noodles (love that consistency!). I am curious about the spicy calamari appetizer, so I might try that next time. But leave the non-kimchi crêpe be: without that spicy oomph it doesn't add any value to your meal. It's a struggle to finish the whole bowl, though at the end you're left with the crispy charred rice bits, cooked in the stone pot throughout the meal. Mmmm. I always add the accoutrements to my bowl, which are served on sets of small square platters for diners to share. Thank goodness my partner isn't keen on the extra bits (I'll admit, sometimes it's difficult to tell just what they are), as there isn't much to go around! Even with the change in egg, the bowls are drier than others I've had in Paris and elsewhere. The kimchi and veggie sides help, but they don't remedy the problem. I try to save my gyoza sauce to lubricate this part of the meal--but sometimes they take it away without me realizing. Note: they don't bring hot sauce automatically. You'll have to ask for this on the side.
