Cozy commodious ~ modest modern decor with a newness & clean comfort. The soft gold metal dinnerware that gave the ambience an added touch. Corean craft ~ hard to find biere from the motherland not usually found in other Korean restaurants. Both are tasty pairings with everything. #5. Kimchi stir-fried pork with sautéed kimchi & fresh tofu was yummy ~ spiced just right, subtle amount of pork to give the kimchee delish flavor. #24 DOENJANC JICAE ~ light, not overly fermented or salted, came out piping hot perfect. #14 Marinated Beef Rib ~ tender cut pre lengthened with bone on end. Faint marinaded quality meat. Tasty. Banchan ~ fresh assortment and more than happy to refill any favorites. New grilling tables had excellent smoke removal technology without the loud vacuuming noise. Touch tap easy to adjust the temperature to your liking. Too full for dessert from the scrumptious dinner, the complimentary Gilbert chew was just right. We appreciated the monsieur asking if we are enjoying ourselves throughout the dinner & acknowledged us leaving with a spirited thank you and to please come back again. Nothing but pleased satisfaction from Misa! Highly recommend.

Mink wanted Asian so we found a spot that was highly rated for Korean food and decided to check…read morethem out. The staff were Chinese speaking Mandarin but that didn't deter us as we were hungry. They also spoke fluent French. We arrived when they first opened and they were already fully booked! They asked in French if we had reservations but we didn't. Good thing Mink can recall some of the French she learned back in the day. The staff kindly got a table from outside to put inside to make room for us to dine in a warmer environment. It was by the entrance so it did have a draft but that didn't bother us too much. Points for customer service and accommodating us so we could dine there. They do offer outside dining but I would imagine that being more popular during warmer weather. Although, we noticed a couple parties did dine outside during our meal. After taking a look at the menu, we ordered the Grilled Cheese Corn (Mais Au Fromage Grille), Bibimbap with Beef and Mixed Vegetables (Boeuf Et Legumes Varies) and a Seafood Soup (Soupe Aux Fruits De Mer). The Grilled Cheese Corn came out first and after finishing more than half of it, the Bibimbap with Beef and Mixed Vegetables came out. It took some time but finally we got our Seafood Soup. Understandable as they were fully booked. Grilled Cheese Corn (Mais Au Fromage Grille) was about a 2 out of 5. The corn kernels were hot but only the top layer of cheese was melted. The rest was just room temperature grated cheese. We both thought that a little more seasoning or butter would have made the dish better. Bibimbap with Beef and Mixed Vegetables (Boeuf Et Legumes Varies) was about 4 out of 5. The beef was seasoned well and the portion was good. Oddly, they didn't give any Gochujang sauce to mix the rice, meat and vegetables. We found it good but lacking a little. Seafood Soup (Soupe Aux Fruits De Mer) was about a 4 out of 5. You can taste the seafood in the soup but it was a little sweet versus spicy. We did appreciate the amount of seafood and mushrooms in the soup though. This was a good experience having Korean in Pairs. We could appreciate how busy the restaurant is and commend them for striving to be the best at what they do. To be fully booked when you first open is amazing for their business and attest to their success in consistency of providing good food. Flavors were different from what we're accustomed to and think they are more catered to the local palate but it's still good. 3.5 stars

Authentic Korean food in the middle of 7th, off of Rue Cler - who knew? I should have. I can't…read morebelieve it took me almost two years to discover this place that's so close to me! Okay, fine, the prices are Rue Cler prices at around 16 EUR a dish, but at some point in your life time, you just have to give in to the idea that money can also be used to pay for convenience...but i digress... Anyway, owned by real Koreans, this place seemed to have been around for a long long time. The service is decent, although the old lady who does the cashier job is a big scary. We got the onion pancakes as a starter, then my boyfriend got the grilled spicy pork and I got the spicy beef soup. Pajun/Scallion Pancakes: DELICIOUS. I'm generally not a huge fan of the korean ones because they don't mince the green onions but use giant stalks of them - but this one was so good that I was too happy to help my boyfriend finish them. Huge portion. Dweji Bulgogi/Korean Spicy Pork BBQ. DELICOUS. They give it to you on a stovetop, but it's precooked in a pan, and the stove doesn't turn on. The presentation is kinda funny. The food is good there and no complaints. Portion was a good size too. Yukgaejang/Spicy Beef soup. TERRIBLE!!!!!! Don't get the soups here. Their soup is watery and bland and clearly not braised slowly over time. What's worse? There is no beef inside. I found like one tiny tidbit slithereen of pork. Mostly just boiled kimchi. I would venture to say that you stay away from their soup dishes. The Banchan/side dishes are great. Although the Kimchi was alcoholy and was clearly not fermented long enough, the seaweed and other pickled dishes were quite good. We did not care for the anchovies and did not try them (see pic). Overall, I believe if you are in the neighbourhood and want something Asian, this place is a worthy visit if you don't mind the price tag. It was about 60 EUR for two: one beer, and two full bellies.

Soup was really good. Side dishes were home made. Some were good some were just okay. Main dish tasted great but they finely chopped up the meat and put them on the sizzling stone plate. As a result, it made the meat very dry. It service was great they greeted us with warm smiles. Place was clean and neat. Note: They did not have wi-fi. Price was more expensive than I expected but seems like this is normal pricing in Paris. So nothing extremely weird about it. They had plenty of choices when it came to appetizers, main dish, dessert, etc. Overall, this helped to replace awful experience we had last night. I would recommend this place to anyone who is craving Korean food.
