I needed my vintage car towed from my house to the mechanic and Mohica Towing arrived very quickly which was so appreciated! Leo was my technician and he was able to adeptly push my car out of the garage while avoiding various obstacles in the way. It was a no fuss, quick operation and I was impressed with Leo's professionalism. I would definitely recommend doing business with Mohica Towing if you are in the Coachella Valley! read more

Johnny is one of the best I've ever seen. Super guy, extremely personable, very nice. Asked where I wanted the engine blown car I needed to store on my driveway. I said as far back, on the right as possible but to leave room to get out the trash. He said he could get it all the way to the fence but I didn't need that much room. Check the picture to see how ncie of a job he did. I don't think I could back a working car into a space that tight. What a pro! Fast, reliable, amazing customer service. Thanks Johnny and Monica Towing read more

My van would not start: battery, starter, alternator, I didn't know. Called AAA, got connected to Mohica, and Christoper M. came to help. He was polite, patient, rapidly diagnosed the problem., and got me on my way. Great value and great service. Thanks to Christopher and Mohica! read more

Contacted Mohica towing for a tow from pd to ps. Judith answered and was a complete unprofessional from the beginning. Told me she needs to see if any drivers are available because and I QUOTE "One second I need to check if I have any drivers available, my boss never has the right amount of guys working." Then proceeded with my wait time being 45 minutes. I then asked how much it would be and she cut me off before I can finish asking and said "Sir I am going to get to that I just need to look up how much from Palm desert." Terrible service, this is my 3rd time calling and never had bad experience with the other operators. read more

As usual, Mohica Towing gets the job done! Timely, professional, and personable. Jared came to replace a tire on a Scion Xb today. He got it done quickly and replaced the wheel cover. On Tuesday evening we went to Palm Springs. Our oldest son was catching a flight. We headed out from the airport trying to get a better view of the airplane as it took off. In search of the perfect spot, my husband got our truck stuck in the middle of a sandy area and because it was loose sand (like the beach) all efforts to drive it out were only making the tires sink deeper. Multiple tow trucks came to help and none were able to pull us out! They each tried their best and wished us luck when they couldn't help us. One of the tow truck drivers didn't even bother getting close to us! He just took off (Samano Brothers towing)! After 5 hours we were still stuck and it was already past midnight. Our roadside assistance company was running out of options to send us! They told us they would send the police department to help us! The police officer showed up and after a while of trying to figure out what to do, he called Mohica Towing and requested a recovery vehicle from them. At around midnight, Mohica towing company showed up. The truck they had was not strong enough to pull us out, but they had one back at the shop. The drivers, Joel and Jairo were amazing! They worked well together and made sure one of them stayed with us the whole time until the 4x4 recovery vehicle arrived. While waiting, Jairo prepped the area, looking for a route on the sand that was sturdier than the others. After assessing the situation and figuring out the best course of action, the recovery vehicle FINALLY pulled us out!!! And we finally headed home! We want to thank Mohica Towing for coming to our rescue! None of the other towing companies had what it took to pull us out of the sand! And the drivers, Joel and Jairo were friendly and stayed calm the whole time which helped to keep us calm!! Thank you!!!! Thank you! read more

The worst! AAA uses them and I have no idea why. I waited over an hour for a battery service call. They lied about the projected arrrival time repeatedly and when the tech did finally show up- he offered no apology and said he had just started his shift. Horrible service read more

An actual reputable towing service exists! So happy with Mohica. Fast, reasonable and took great care with vehicle.

Horrible service, made me wait an hour before the tow truck arrived, driver said he won't pick up my car because of having a expired AAA card, but I showed my up to date digital card. He wouldn't accept it. Told me to call AAA and have them call their dispatch. Very very rude driver, was very disrespectful. They ended up not towing my vehicle, if tho I had a current membership (6 year member) Driver said he would tow it for $200 to go 10-11 miles. Avoid this place at all costs read more

We broke down in the Morongo Grade towing a trailer. We had no cell service to call for service. CHP arrived and called for a tow. Mohica showed up and towed us home. We showed the driver our AAA RV plus card and he said we were good to go for the q5 mile tow to our home. When we arrived Mohica owner told the driver to refuse our AAA and to charge us 475.00 for the tow because CHP Called and not me. I talked the owner but he refused and threatened to tow my truck and trailer to the yard if I didn't pay. So I paid. I later reported this to AAA to get reimbursed. AAA found out after we paid them Mohica submitted a claim for the tow. Dis honest crooks if you ask me. Don't use this tow company. read more

Earlier in the afternoon AAA Roadside Battery Services in Indio jump started my dead battery. The technician printed out a report stating that the 9 month old AAA battery was in need of replacement and unfortunatelyhe didn'thave Size 35 battery with him . He tested the alternator & starter and said that I would make it home 25 minutes away. I called and reported the situation to AAA emergency Roadside Assistance and they scheduled Mohican Towing to bring the replacement. When the Mohican technician arrived the battery was dead and he jumped it and told me it tested good. He called his boss at Mohican and the guy seemed to be looking for any angle not to replace the 9 month old battery with a 3 year warranty. After he drove away I went down the the street for gas, and the battery was dead. Not a quality service that I have been accustomed to by AAA for the las 47 years! read more

A friend was visiting from out of town. Unfortunately she cut a turn to close, rolled over curb and shredded a tire. This was after 5pm on a Saturday night. We had been told that all of the tire repair places were already closed. The driver towed the car home and told us to call in the morning for another tow to Big O tires. What a life saver. The same driver came on Sunday morning and got us safely to Big O tires! Great service and so helpful. Thank you! read more

Johnny showed-up when I thought my electrical system had gone out and I needed a tow. He was very professional and courteous, and suggested he attempt to jump-start first to avoid the hassle of towing the car if possible. That's all it was. But he went above-and-beyond there, too, by remaining there for awhile to make sure that the battery remained charged. Hopefully I won't need to call a towing company again soon, but if I do, I hope they send Johnny. read more

I used Mohica services after I struck a curb and essentially destroyed the right tire, axle, and its components. The service provided was exceptional, especially thanks to Ruben. In the mist of all of this the own Joel Mojica is on the phone with his staff and I can over hear him talking shit to his brother Jesse about me! But besides that Jesse tell me (of course when police are around if I go home and bring my dying mother I can get the car . So I go home have a nurse come help me get my mom ready and I call the Cat City office to let them know I'm on my way Tina let's me know the guys decided to go home and not do any more releases ummm okay! So the whole time I've been asking to talk to Joel. He tells staff he doesn't want to talk to me and not to call him back. So now is my car being held for what reason? My vehicle died enroute Palm Springs airport and Mohica was called. I believe our driver was JOHN, and he was exceptional. It was a very cold evening and he allowed my sister and I to sit in his cab while he dealt with our vehicle. JOHN was very friendly and professional, and on dropping off our car (at the dealership) he stayed with us and again let us sit in his cab to keep warm until our Uber arrived to take us home. An extremely courteous driver, that certainly made the event much easier. read more

Mohica towing is the best. I had the unfortunate experience of having my battery go dead twice within an hour. The first time mohica arrived with in 15 minutes gave me a jump and was out in just a few minutes. I did not take their advise to drive my car for 30 minutes before turning it off so my battery was dead 20 minutes later when I tried to restart it after going to the store. This time they were there in 5 minutes to get me on my way. I have used them before today and their drivers are very nice and professional. AAA dispatched them to me, but if I didn't have AAA they would be my first choice to call. read more

Unfortunately, I've had more than my share of two truck experiences this month, first with an auto accident where my insurance company arranged the tows. One was great, one was horrible (3.5 hour wait). A couple days ago I got a flat tire and called AAA, hope for a great experience rather than a bad experience. AAA dispatched Mohica Towing, saying it would be 20-30 minutes. In fact, the driver, Harley (driver #59), called after about 10 minutes saying he'd be there in 5 minutes. He was super friendly and competent. He quickly got to work removing the spare from the rear of my older (borrowed) SUV. I tried to help, but he said "keep your hands clean. I got this." Within minutes he had the spare off, the flat tire off, the spare on, and added air to all my tires. Harleywas done in about 15 minutes. That meant from the time I called AAA to the time my care was drive-able was just about 30 minutes, maybe less. Great friendly service. If I have to call AAA again, I hope they dispatch Mohica Towing to me again, and Harley specifically! read more

The ABSOLUTE worst thing I can say about Mohica Towing is that they have an affiliation with AAA. If only AAA was 1/1000 was as good as Mohica! AAA sent Mohica out a few times for minor issues. They have always been prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. I would use them anytime with or without the AAA link. I find them trustworthy and fair. Those are not two terms often applied to towing services. I am happy to see that other's view of Mohica are similar to mine. It is also nice to see that Yelp is used to provide positive comments about worthy members of the community. Now if, I could just find a replacement for AAA. read more

I'm a Disabled Vet and 40+ year USAA member and my sedan just died. Likely electrical issue. Placed order thru USAA for towing for the following morning. Service never showed up. So I called Mohica Towing and they were here at my home in about 15 minutes, professionally loaded the sedan out of my garage and onto a flat bed and delivered to the dealer in Cathedral City for what was a reasonable rate. Skip the Insurance app scam and just call MOHICA! read more

Today was not a good day, suv got stuck on top a rock in the Cathedral City dunes behind the Verona homes. I was able to get a hold of them right away and they were honest and called me several times to give me updates. We had a battery replaced in our van over a week ago...Mohica Towing through AAA did the replacement. The battery is located under the drivers seat and it's a chore getting to it. The guy replacing the battery was less than helpful but he finally got the job...almost done. He didn't replace the two-piece cover over the battery or reattach the carpet over that. So we made a call today to get that done... Mohica sent Jared, and he had it done in two minutes. And more than that he was super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. His attitude alone made up for the inconvenience. I hope his boss reads this and promotes Jared with a nice pay raise. read more
