The office staff is the most incompetent and uncaring group of people it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. The phones are completely automated. I leave voice messages and get no replies ever. I had my blood work done and x-rays on my back in order to see an orthopaedic surgeon over a month ago. No one has ever contacted me with the results of any of that. Dr. Parry told his assistant, while I was in the room, to set up a referral with a surgeon because I have a huge hiatal hernea and possible iliac hernia. No one has called me back regarding that. I have called and left my phone and name on their voice mail for both the person in charge of referrals and the doctor's assistant. No return calls. In order to get my blood work done, I had to go back to their office to get more paperwork because the paperwork they gave me for the order wasn't filled out with anything other than my personal and insurance info. There was no instruction on what kind of blood draw to do. In the interim, it was determined I would need an RA blood draw as well, which would mean I had to be fasting. So new paperwork had to be done. The guy at the front desk was on the phone with another patient. There was a girl sitting in a chair at a desk behind him twirling in the chair. Finally, I asked if she could help me. She never offered, even though she wasn't doing anything and saw me there, waiting for assistance. They gave me six sheets of paper for one blood draw. The lab tech looked at it and said that only one sheet was complete. All the others were printed wrong so that only a portion of the necessary info was on each page. I still haven't seen an orthopaedic doctor and I still haven't heard from anyone about a surgeon for my hernia. I can't reach anyone by phone. I don't want my insurance to be billed for another office visit, but I have no other way to talk to Dr. Parry about any of this. DON'T GO TO SYCAMORE MEDICAL IN KINGMAN, ARIZONA. The doctor you see may be terrific, but the office staff is horrible.

I went in because I broke a tooth, or rather shattered it, and discovered a horrible cavity under the surface. The dental assistant asked if I'd like it taken out, since that seemed to be the only option. I expected as much. So I said yes and she went and got me my estimate. While waiting, Dr. Uldrikson came in and didn't say a word. If I hadn't said hello, I doubt he would've made a peep at me. He was horribly rough, he shoved that needle in my mouth so hard I barely had time to comprehend what he had just done. No warning, nothing. He didn't even tell me he was about to numb me. Then he wandered off without telling me what he was doing. I knew we had to wait for the numbing to kick in, but still, at least say "I will be right back." Or something. When he went to start the extraction, I wasn't numb all the way so he had to try a few more times. Each time he was as rough as the first time. He scraped my tongue with the needle a couple times too. Didn't even apologize. The extraction itself was fine, after being numbed a thousand times, of course I'm not gonna feel it. But as soon as he was done he was off. Didn't say another word to me, he just ran off to his next paycheck. That was how I felt, like he was digging in my mouth for gold and once he was done, it was "Screw off, see you later." The dental assistant, thankfully, told me about my aftercare and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am SO grateful for her. Then when I went to leave, the receptionist told me the doctor wrote down that I need two more teeth examined, which he didn't say a word to me about at all. Didn't even hint at it. He pointed them out when he first looked in my mouth but all he said was "Got a couple cavities back here." And that was it. He didn't say he wanted to examine them or what he wanted to do. The receptionist had to get up and go ask him what that was about. Hell no I am not going back to him. I pity his staff for having to work with such an uncaring, unprofessional, stone cold husk of a man. Perhaps if he worked on his bedside manner and didn't man handle people in a delicate situation, I would. But I won't. Bad form, doc. Bad form..

This place takes a month or longer to get your glasses prescription. They have the slowest lab…read moreever. However besides that, the doctors and establishment is very nice. Just make an appointment earlier because you'll wait forever to get your glasses. Just would recommend their lab turnover time to be much faster because having us wait a month is to see again is ridiculous. They'll try and sneak an extra $30 charge for a picture of your eyes I find it a bit strange because insurance should cover that if it truly is necessary with the appointment.

Today I visited River Rock Oral Surgery to have a wisdom tooth removed. Overall, the staff was…read moreextremely pleasant and informative when I called to make the appointment. Scheduling was easy, and they provided a clear initial quote for the procedure, which I appreciated -- especially since I don't have dental insurance. However, I want to share my experience so others know what to expect. When I received the quote, I was told it would be $1,895 but could be up to $700 less. I understood this to mean that the extra charge would only apply if the extraction was more complicated than expected. Unfortunately, what wasn't communicated upfront is that the $700 was actually for an optional PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy. I didn't find this out until I was already in the chair, IV ready, and moments away from the procedure. That's when the doctor came in and pitched the benefits of PRP, saying it could help with healing and pain. He did say it was optional, but it felt more like an upsell -- as if my choice was to "do this or wing it." Given that I had budgeted for the higher end of the quote and didn't want to jeopardize my recovery, I agreed to the PRP. But I told the doctor right then that I felt uncomfortable about how this was presented -- and I still do. For me, this came across as a last-minute sales pitch rather than part of an informed consent process. If I'd known about this add-on ahead of time, I would have had the chance to do my own research and decide without pressure. On the positive side, my recovery has gone very well -- no pain in my mouth and good healing so far. (Day one) I just can't help but feel frustrated and a little sick to my stomach that I may have paid for something I wasn't given the time to properly evaluate. In short: I'm not saying don't go to this surgeon. The care itself was good. But I strongly recommend you ask detailed questions when you get your quote and don't be afraid to push for clear answers about optional procedures and costs. Buyer beware -- and be your own advocate!

As she is interviewing you she is also on her computer answering emails for other patients. When I have requested to have a refill called into Pfizer Rx I get nothing but delays and wrong information and the refill is not called. She never documented that I had an umbilical hernia and so when I needed surgery there was delays with getting the information to the surgeon. Her staffing is not adequate for handling patient requests and often the only way to get a message through is to leave an email message and the responses are nonsense. Like another review "communicating with her office is like pulling teeth". Horrible experiences. She does not care about you. Just pushing patients through.
