I was checking out items and there was already a cashier standing by the service checkout, but another man followed behind me to the checkout (meanwhile I was the only person there). I accidentally marked an onion as a potato and the man ran behind me as though it were a crisis. He informed me I selected the wrong option. I said oh I didn't realize and he responded "it's ok" in a condescending tone as though I were stealing, to which I replied it was an accident. He couldn't even help me, he had to calm the original woman who was standing f by self checkout to fix (because it was her job to do, not his). Even after she fixed and I paid ANOTHER man walks over to ask the woman who helped me what the issue is. I still was the only person at checkout. Extremely poor behavior and customer service. And this kind of thing happens all the time to me and several other community members I've talked to who all dread going. You're better off going to Ideal near Rochdale.

I picked up ingredients for chicken soup, beef soup, and pasta -- the kind of food that keeps you warm for days. I spent about $150, which honestly still feels expensive, but considering today's food prices and the fact that this will turn into multiple home-cooked meals (and leftovers), it was worth it. Being prepared during a storm beats scrambling for overpriced takeout any day.
