We tried this place for the first time for dinner pickup and overall had a pretty good experience -- definitely solid enough to come back, but a few things could've been better. Margherita pizza- was fresh and flavorful. Kids pepperoni pizza- was light on the actual pepperoni. Would've loved a bit more topping. Cheesy garlic bread - had potential, but it was a bit doughy in spots. Not under cooked but just tasted liked baked bread and could've used more garlic /cheese The chef salad - was the highlight- super fresh!!!!! Pickup was easy, and the server who helped me was super nice and friendly. The only weird part was an older gentleman there who stared and started asking her questions while I was standing there. Pizza was pretty good. Crust was a little under cooked in the center but only slightly. In the middle two inches of the pizza. There were lots of toppings and they all tasted very fresh. Good things first: the restaurant is really pretty, very clean and the young staff was super friendly and accommodating. The menu prices are very reasonable Andi could tell that the pizza ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately the food is mid at best. It's not bad by any means, it's just... meh. Underwhelming. The cheese sticks seemed a bit odd to me, Not sure what kind of cheese they're using but even super hot there was no cheese pull which was strange. My coworker mentioned me this place & I brought my chick friends over to try out their food. My caeser salad was yummy & our pizzza's were delicious. My friend got the tomato basil soup but she said that it was kind of watery didn't have the texture of soup. Loved the atmosphere they had Christmas music on & everything looks neat. I have had lunch at this spot 3 times now. The lunch special never disappoints. The place is usually pretty empty so the wait is nothing. There is calming music playing with TVs in the corners displaying sports. Honestly, this is probably my favorite lunch spot in the area. Very clean also. read more

They have reduced the portion so much it's like eating a child's meal. The problem is that they didn't inform the customer. I usually eat here at least once a week. Went in today for a Friday early dinner and was very disappointed. I would rather they had increased the price and give the customer a chance to make the decision to either buy or pass on the meal. Well we wanted to try Mogio's but we were unable too. The sign on the door states they close at 9:00 PM and Yelp states they close at 9:30 PM. We walked in at 8:00 PM. No one was there except 3 people standing behind the counter doing NOTHING but staring at us like we killed their dog because we walked in 1 hour prior to their posted closing time and 1 person pushing a broom around. I asked if they were open she begrudgingly said yes, as soon as we started towards the seating area she in formed me the dinning room was closed. You need to change your hours of operation or become a delivery service only. So they get a 1 star for the absolute lackluster of customer service. This was one of the worst experiences and food I have had in a while. To start off we called in the order and asked if they delivered. The young lady asked someone and they yelled out hell no we don't Fu"* deliver. When I got arrived I asked to speak to a manager and no one was there. I got the number and was told to call back in the morning. When I arrived home I started to eat the lasagna and it was very nasty. Too much salt and it was like the lasagna was not baked all.the way. Regrettably, after 2 different occasions (1 month apart), I've concluded that this is no longer the outstanding establishment that it was under the previous name and ownership. Both times, the delivery was slow (1 hour and 10 minute average, though promised 30-35 minutes both times)), the food was cold, and the managers -- though apologetic -- did not follow through with the credit/discount that was promised. SO MANY of the RED OAK Mogio's branch reviews-- over and over-- speak of poor/rude management, bad customer service, and consistent refusal to honor coupons. And, it's all true. I called to place an order-- a hundred dollar order. The online coupon was for 15% off (had no expiration date). General manager ordered the acting manager to NOT honor it b/c it wasn't a "mailer." When I asked to speak to that manager, the young man cashier appeared nervous and said he didn't know when the manager would return. Sooooo, I directed him to credit the charge back to my card. Just really not a wise move on the part of the general manager. They lost a big sale, lost potentially consistent customers, and ate the cost of the materials to make our order. Re: the food here-- It's really hit or miss, depends on the day. Generally speaking: the pizza crust needs to be more crisp; they skimp on cheese; and the establishment itself is often unkempt-- drink machines not cleaned routinely, tables not bussed in a timely manner. No doubt, if someone from Mogio's responds to this review, he'll say something about talking to the "performance team" to make it better. Welp, he's been saying that for several years. Nothing seems to be changing. Note: GET YOUR COUPON SITUATION IN ORDER, man/men. I'm not sure what happened here over the last few months but their service is now horrible. They used to be a spot to go to get a quick lunch but now you are talking at least an hour. I remember when I could get in and out in less than thirty minutes. And I always order the same thing. I've been here almost an hour and there is only two other tables in the restaurant and still no pizza. Today is my last day here. Food is always good but an hour isn't worth it. This is the second time I ordered from Mogio's in Red Oak. Both times I ordered jalapeños, bell peppers and black olives on my pizza. Both times I received my pizza with jalapeños, black olives and pepperoni. Apparently they don't know the difference between bell peppers and pepperoni. I'm a vegetarian so I had to pick the pepperoni off both times. The pizza is really good but not when they can't put the right toppings on it twice. I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

Well Mogio's didn't miss a beat when they bought out the Palio's Pizza at this site in Red Oak. We just had our first meal here with friends and while the menu is basically the same our party felt it was a little bit better. We all had pizza and I think the prices stayed the same. We were very pleased with our meal. The Mgr Romero was very nice and the staff were friendly. We will be back very soon. read more

I just moved here from Florida and I have to say I paid $70 dollars for 3 cheese-less calzones and a sub sandwich with nothing on it but a thin layer of ham and little piece of cheese.. The cheesecake that they charge $5 dollars for is the size of if a tiny child was wanting a taste of a piece of cheesecake. The food came all cold. I've ordered pizza from here before and I was satisfied. This time, Mogio's pizza was not good. The crust was soft and felt soggy, the toppings on the pizza were just awful. You can't tell one topping from another. The taste of the pizza was not good, either. It's like eating a bunch of food just piled up and smeared around on the crust, like leftovers, except leftovers always tastes really good. This doesn't. I gave two stars because I always think it could be better, if this restaurant cares enough to listen. The pizza is not good, change the way you make it. If someone asks for hamburger and pepperoni then make sure you put enough on that most people would be satisfied. Don't be chintzy with ingredient especially with toppings. I paid for the food to be not only good but fabulous, and it wasn't, it was awfully cheap, and that's insulting. This place is ridiculous. Cant get something as simple as a two pizza order correct. Simply asked for bbq chicken pizza no bacon on their whole wheat crust. Repeated the order several times to the worker taking the order and had her repeat it back several times. Reason being is because we have ordered before and had issues with simple requests such as cutting the pizza pie style not in squares as they do normally......of course we got squares!!! This happened several times with them being Mogios as well as before their name change. So because this order had bacon they remade .....(fyi, the receipt clearly says no bacon) it but our other pizza was completely cold sooooo had to go home and put it in the oven! Phoned the manager and he could have cared less about our experiences. His reply was it was a mistake. I understand a mistake but its one that we have dealt with many times. After all that the pizza was below average. Taste like cheap frozen pizza. Should have read the reviews and gone off previous experiences. But lesson learned. Wont be back. read more
