Monfongo, bifongo, trifongo . . . Since it was our first time in, we tried a lot of different items. The Monfongo with chicharones de pollo was excellent. The pastillilo de carne was good. The papas locas (with carne) was really good. It was so big, we couldn't finish it. We ordered it for an appetizer but it really could be an entree. The arroz con gondules was good. It could have had a little more flavor, but it was fine. I ordered a side of the trifongo since only the monfongo came with the entrees. I really liked their trifongo. Hubby got the pina colada frappe and it was very good, very fresh. Definitely a good place to visit. Street parking. Service was a little scattered and it took a lot longer for our food than expected. Lots of families and lots of people taking out, in addition to almost packed tables. Go, enjoy the Boricua food and feel like you're on an island. :)

The chicken was pretty good. I think everything would've been better either in the store or just hotter. (The fries weren't warm). We will definitely be trying this place again.

I stopped by for a late lunch yesterday & I can't believe I haven't checked out this place earlier!…read more What we ordered: * Cuban Sandwich * Cuban Twist * Fried sweet plantains * Cheese & Beef Patty All incredible and packed to the brim. I probably devoured my sandwich in 10 minutes, it was so good. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into this business. The atmosphere was homey and sweet. I was greeted with a smile and a lot of jokes! I wish I had taken pics of the actual food, but we ate everything so quickly. 10/10 I can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

My stomach and my heart are so happy, El Rincon Criollo has been on my radar for a while, and now that I've finally had their amazing food, I am already planning my next visit ( and next time, I'll drive instead of bike!!) Situated in Spring City, conveniently off the Schuylkill River Trail, The Latin Corner is accessible by foot, by bike, and by car. You have no excuse not to visit! This place is like a warm blanket. Comforting, homey, and incredibly delicious, I don't think you can go wrong with your order here. Everything is handmade with love by the owners, who are so kind and welcoming that I was tempted to spend the entire day here. If you're ever in the area and need a hearty meal- don't sleep on The Latin Corner!

The food was flavorful. I got the goat, and morcilla (blood sausage) and my partner got the beef, platanos, and yuca. His beef was fall-off-the-bone tender, platinum, and yuca was great. My goat was a bit chewy, and morcilla a bit dry, but still very tasty. I'd definitely come back to try their other à la carte dishes. There are so many choices even if I went back every day for lunch for a week, I still would not be able to sample all that they offer. I couldn't take a pic of my partner's plate as it was so good he inhaled all of it, I barely got any, and that's how you know his plate was amazing!! Service was awesome as well, the lady was so nice and helpful.
