Just came in to Moe's and my husband and i were having issues with our Moe's Rewards apps. Anthony was super quick to help and was so kind and patient with us!! Avery was the woman who helped us out at the register and she was very patient because we kinda had to go back and forth. I really love this location because the workers here are always so cool and the space is always very clean compared to others, not to mention there's more space to eat here than other locations I've been to. Also want to add that the new birria steak was literally amazing, I was kinda shocked because I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was! read more

PSA they don't tell you but they charge you for the color of chicken. No where is it posted that. Barely any meat even after paying for double meat because the first 2 speckles were so light and I know because I eat other moes locations often. Beans were scraped off the bottom for 4 meals we ordered trying to scavenge the 11 beans put in my bowl. Then comes the cheese and 9 pieces of lettuce, iv never been somewhere that didn't stack your lettuce ever. This location needs retraining on how to roll a burrito and make a bowl. Burritos inconsistent sizes/rolls lack of food paid $50 to still be hungry for you to have a tip jar. No sorry, usually I would but not today Satan you can't give me lettuce, you can't get my green. Multiply Olivia from orange park location fire everyone else. All in all service was bad, food was good for the 4 bites I got, restaurant looked clean inside little worn on outside. Pick another location or just don't go here. read more

Decided to try Moes because I've never had them in my entire life. I like the interior of this place. Pretty clean, my quesadilla was pretty yummy, I only liked the poblano verde sauce. Friendly people but one of them was really quiet. Would go back again. read more

I went here on the 20th of August and I had the best service. The Food was spectacular and delicious as always and the place was so clean and kept up with you could really tell. My children ate here with me and they got a kids burrito and they also enjoyed it and they don't like burritos. So I was impressed great job guys will be coming back! read more

Very nice restaurant, I enjoyed the food here, it is very near and I love the staff here, they are very friendly people and they are always welcoming to visitors. read more

The manager I think her name was Avery she can roll one of the meanest burritos ever that had to be the best Moes burrito I've ever had!

Billy and Krishna were amazingly kind and efficient today!! The nicest staff of any Moes we've been to. The food was also well prepared and yummy! The store was clean. read more

I had the pleasure of being served by Avery and Billy at the Newberry Square location. The attention to details Avery provided was amazing. Billy with his upbeat attitude is refreshing. I will return because of the great customer service I received as well as the great food. The entire team rock. read more

Moe's Southwest Grill - Burrito and chips and cheese - Tex-Mex Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

Was going to leave 2 stars but the food was terrible. Was rushed though ordering to the point where me and the person I was with forgot to ask for things we wanted. Although it was an hour before close, salsa was sitting on a rolling cart unrefrigerated near the register that we had to scoop from. Major health code violation. The use of the leaf blower inside to blow the tables off was pretty off-putting and obnoxious. The rice in our burritos were so hard it hurt your teeth to eat, and the vegetables were mushy. Definitely not worth the money. read more

Way too expensive. Burrito is much smaller compared to chipotle and burrito famous in the area. The staff was very friendly. I thought the inside was kinda small. Free salsa bar is a hit. Free chips with meal, unlike burrito famous and chipotle. I had the steak and it was not good. More like strip steak (the cheap kind) not like most tex mex steak. Probably shoulda went with chicken. read more

stopped here for a quick family to go meal but was mistreated and racially disrespected by an employee who said his name was Billy. I held my peace and this same person had to cash me out? I respectfully explained how he offended me and he looked at me with no response. I inquired if he thought he owed me an apology but he disregarded me and proceeded to ask for my money??????? I walked out and left the food bc I work too hard to pay for a service when I'm being disrespected as a woman of color. I hope this fellow named Billy can get some training as it is needed. The previous staff/owners were nice but it's not the same. I won't be back. read more

Great food good people and all around chill environment the workers were funny. This moe's is the best I've been to.

Largest and busiest Moe's I have ever been in. However, they handle the crowds well, as far as orders go. Need to clean the tables though. Tofu was more cooked than usual, chewy, still sat around for awhile, wasn't very hot. Never seems to be. I have only one request over all these years and CORPORATE continues to ignore me.... PLEASE change your garbage can tops! They are so narrow and small, I can't even throw away the bowl. I know you don't want the baskets going down but really??? You give us 2 tiny slits to throw away all that junk? I was so frustrated. I had to leave everything on top. The garbage needed bag changing too. When it is busy, think of walking thru the floor and cleaning, would ya? read more

Moe's Southwest Grill - Tex-Mex Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

Absolutely terrible experience. The whole store was dirty, the food was old and stale, and there was one worker on the line who had a bad attitude. The drink machine spewed out orange stuff when I selected Coke, and the chips were stale and had black pieces of an unknown substance in them. There was no salsa out at the salsa bar. My family got 3 kids meals and we were told that there were no cookies when we were going to pay. Will never be visiting this Moe's location ever again! read more

I never thought I would say this but I had the best customer service I've received in a long time at Moe's - Earl was working and is fantastic. He was super friendly and made my day! Worked hard to talk to everyone in line and greeted everyone who walked in! Really awesome! read more

If there were a no star button that would be the one I would choose. I normally like moe's but this experience was absolutely awful. The chicken tasted like it had been there for multiple days- it was so stale. The chips were old as well. I just wanted a burrito...instead I ate a few bites and threw it all away. Waste of money. If you want to have a disappointing meal this is your place. read more

I like the food at Moe's, but it's becoming more difficult to convince myself to go in because of all the other issues. This particular location is one of the worst. Dirty tables, and salsa spilled all over the counter. The men's room was "close." I think they meant closed. The locks on both stalls in the women's room were broken. Good thing there was a fire or other evacuation emergency. The fire exit is blocked. I may go into another location, but definitely not this one. read more

Did an online order shortly before they closed. As I walked in to pick up the order, I was told they were out of a couple items. The manager offered solutions for replacement and went above for service as far as I concerned read more

If you are a fan of the JC, then you know that it's probably the most tasteful quesadilla ever made. I get mine with chicken, rice, black beans, onions, and their famous corn salsa they have. I ate the whole thing in less than 10 minutes! Don't judge me lol. The dining area is ALWAYS clean and they have plenty of seating available. Outdoor seating is also available at this location. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The employees are in a good mood and every time that door opens, they never miss a beat in their "Welcome to Moe's!" greeting. I always give a "gas money" tip before leaving the restaurant because the customer service is so superb. read more

WELCOME TO MOES! :) I love this place. Consistently good burritos, salsa and chips. Plus, the new coke machines are pretty snazzy. Moe's is always a good idea. read more

This location has gone downhill over the years. I have probably gone to this store about 20 times in the past. Never again will I go to this location. Incompetent staff both of the last two times I have gone. They are always out of something with no interest in making it right. read more

Absolutely delicious! Service was excellent, quick and friendly. I ordered the Earmuffs Chicken (chicken bowl, $7.99) and a drink ($1.99). It was my first time so I bought it anyway, but the overall total was $10.58 - a bit expensive for lunch! Again, scrumptious and great service, but not a place you could eat at on a tight budget often. read more

Moe's Southwest Grill - Chicken, lettuce, salsa, cheese, & sour cream - Tex-Mex Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

The nachos were a disappointment. The cilantro wasn't fresh. It was wet and turning brown and dark green, yet they still put rotting food on my plate. The nachos were stale and soggy. I ordered on DoorDash and they don't have an option EVER for special requests such as napkins, plastic ware, "dry" nachos on the side from the "wet" items being placed on top of the nachos, etc. Common sense should prevail in that you don't put wet food on top of dry food and expect it to still taste good. It's one thing if I was in the restaurant eating, but this delivery was 17 minutes away. Even 5 minutes away would be too long for food to be mixed together. They also left off the adobe chicken that I paid extra for. They didn't include any side salsa for the entree. I had a "side" that was free, of nachos and one ounce of gross salsa. This was nowhere near enough for the side nachos much less trying to add some of it on top of my nachos main dish. Of course there were no napkins or plastic ware. Yes, I need plastic ware for attempting to scoop up the soggy, bendy nachos. What about napkins? I work in a hospital and ordered this for lunch spending $18. I may go by this place after work and let them know how awful this was, but since I ordered thru DoorDash, I doubt they will make it right. read more

Always a good choice for the lunch time munchies. They keep the store clean and I love their humour of using pics of celebrity look alikes for decor. The staff is always witty when I come by and are very friendly. Food is prepared well and it's always good! 4 stars because they dont give much chips even though the small queso is pretty big for just dip. read more

Moe's Southwest Grill - Everyone enjoys a homewrecker - Tex-Mex Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

This place is just ok. The Burritos are really big, but do not have a great amount of flavor. You would think with their attitude it would be the best place around. Not as crowded as their other locations in Gainesville that I have been to. A step up from Taco Bell, but a lot more money. read more

I got a chicken burrito bowl, chips and a Corona. The only thing I honestly enjoyed was the beer. All of the food just had an off flavor and was overwhelmingly salty. Severely disappointed... As an out of town traveler it makes me wonder what other stuff is around here if THIS was the highest rated restaurant in the area. Qudoba or Chipotle are similar but taste much better with higher quality ingredients. Not to mention Moe's menu is bizarre and difficult to interpret with names like "bag of joeys" for chips (maybe?) and "earmuffs" for a burrito bowl. Really?! Save your money and pass on this place. read more

Waited 30 min for online order. Watched 15 people go through the line. While we have already paid Terrible

It took over an hour for an a burrito order placed via grub hub. It wouldn't have been as bad if the initial timeline was close to accurate. read more

This location used to be great but has gone completely down hill. I gave it a long break and tried it again and it was still bad. Busted burrito, sides left off, quality of food significantly decreased, employees always seem bothered. I love moes when it's good but we've switched to Chipotle and even El Indio instead now. read more

This Moe's used to be awesome, but I don't know what happened. The past 3 times I've been there (within the past month), the staff seems all new and they operate with the speed & efficiency of confused sloths (no offense to sloths). Not sure if they changed because of management, a staff overhaul, or both but something needs to give soon or I'll be finding a new Moe's location. On top of being sloppy and untrained, the staff doesn't even seem happy. Also, the salsa is runny and you can't order online anymore... SIGH. Conclusion: Whoever manages this place is either too lazy to worry about proper training or flat out doesn't care about their customers. *end rant* read more

Terrible service. Placed order online and when got home, large portion of order missing -- 2 large quest, drinks with kids meals, and cookies with kids meals. Also, items ordered with tacos (sour cream, cheese, and lettuce) missing. When called, oh well. When went back, basically indifferent to screw ups. Will not be back!! read more

they didn't serve me when i came in 30 mins before close time i do not recommend the workers suck

I just had the absolute, positively worst carryout experience of my entire life at this Moe's. If I could have negative stars, I would use them. One star is far too good for this experience. My wife and daughter submitted and paid online at 4:45pm (per the receipt); the pick-up time was 5:05pm (per the receipt). When I arrived at 5:09pm, the pickup rack was empty. I waited a couple of minutes in line and told the worker I was there to pick up my order. Turns out they hadn't started the order. I was told to stand by the pick-up rack while they got my order ready. So, I waited...and waited...and waited. After 10 minutes, they actually started making my order, based on the fact that the worker had to flag someone else down to start my order. They were steady, but not busy, based on number of people in line. After another 11 minutes, I saw a bag be put by the cash register at the other end of the line, but there was no way to know that was my order. I had watched several people (over 6 that I can recall) who arrived after I did order, pay, and leave, and after seeing a family get their food and the bag was still sitting by the register for a couple of customers, I went down to ask if that was my bag. Turns out it was, and thus after a 30 minute wait, I finally had my online order in hand. From online order to bag in my hand took nearly 1 hour! Bottom line: I'm NEVER ordering or buying anything from this Moe's again, and I'm telling everyone I know to avoid this place. This was my second, and last, experience of having my order not made when I arrived and waiting for quite a while before getting my food, but I thought the last time was a one-time thing. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Not a fan of chain restaurants, at all... but sometimes it's just convenient! Moe's is on the way home and convenient to stopping at TJ Max, K-Mart, Publix, Mother Earth, The Dollar Store, etc.. While I can't believe I'm taking time to review a chain restaurant, the food and the service were good enough to warrant some positive words. You just can't go wrong with walking past a window of Tex-mex toppings and layering what you like, leaving off what you don't like. I like extra cilantro, no carbs/chips/rice, lots of veggies and that's exactly what I got. The line of folks in front of and behind me was long, consistent, impressive, during my one hour dinner. They must be doing something (s) while customers stare at you through a glass cage, right!? The staff is friendly and efficient, and that's hardly ever the case in a caffeteria style setting, I mean how much fun can it be to scoop up pork, salsa, beans etc... for hours, with a smile and great attitude? They somehow accomplish this, so hats off! I grabbed a Corona at the register, how convenient! The dining space/ambiance atmosphere is nothing to brag about, but oh well, overall a nice, quick, inexpensive dinner. I was happy to see a business doing well, very well, in this economy, so that alone was a heart-warming benefit to sitting in a booth watching the que of happy customers. read more

My family and I went to this moes on our way home from a trip to Mississippi and we got here around 9:15/9:30 and they had already closed everything down. They literally only had ground beef and that's it. If you're being paid to do a job, you need to do it right and not close until your sign says. This is ridiculous. I will not be returning here again. There was one nice girl however who clearly needs a raise because she was the only one working. read more

Terrible customer service! Been there twice recently in the evening and the staff( same crew )seemed bothered/ annoyed at our presence. They barely speak to you and it seems they just don't care at all if you notice they're lack of enthusiasm and total apathy. Definitely did not feel "welcome at Moe's"! Wish the owner of this franchise would go in and do a little undercover shopping, I have a feeling they'd be hiring a new manager. read more
