Found this place via yelp on my way home from Morton Plant Clearwater. So glad i stopped in for takeout. I live bout 40 min south of this location. Happy to report my order was still warm/ hot by the time I got home. Small Rib platter with collard greens, mac & cheese, bbq sauces on the side. Ribs were moist & flavorful! Nice smoke ring & good bark . Collards were fresh & tangy, M&C perfect amount of cheese & not over-seasoned Pulled Pork Platter w/ baked beans & slaw, sauces on the side. Perfectly seasoned moist pulled pork, flavorful beans & slightly sweet tangy slaw! The cornbread is almost a meal of it's own. Great BBQ is hard to find here in Pinellas .. We've ordered take out and dined in. Both experiences were excellent. Their Smoked Chicken Sandwich is to die for! The coleslaw, pickles and white sauce complement it well. Their wings are juicy and some of the best I've ever had. I last ordered the Rib sandwich special Ann's it was very good but still prefer the smoked chicken. My husband ordered Brisket and it was the last order for it that day. It was very fatty but they quickly exchanged it with another meat with no issues. Their collards are not bitter, and their baked beans have smoked brisket in them. So delicious. We have deemed this place or current favorite BBQ place that is near us. Seating is very tight but it's worth a visit! They are closed on Sundays. read more

What a great find! Stopped to pick up some sandwiches for a road trip and picked up some deliciousness! Tender juicy BBQ meats. We had the pulled pork, chicken and sausage sandwiches they were all delicious. For sides we had fried okra, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw and smoked chicken salad! All really good. This is a great place for some takeout barbecue. The platter comes with plenty of food and they have lots of side options. The mac and cheese was incredible, not too heavy but perfectly creamy. The slaw is good too, and I liked that it wasn't mayo based. The cornbread is absolutely delicious, and it's nice and crispy due to being griddled. The turkey was tasty as well, though some pieces were a little tough. We got the food to go, but the inside does have a lot of seating and some cute decorations. We've gotten takeout from Moe's twice, and both experiences were impressive. Everyone at the restaurant was friendly and professional. The food is phenomenal! Stopped in to try the new Moe's Original BBQ location and was pleasantly surprised in the experience!!! Upon entry, the barbecue scent is amazing!! Restaurant is a self order at the counter and they bring the food out when it's ready. Food was brought out in good time, they have a fountain beverage station with iced tea as well. Food was excellent!!! Also, they have BBQ sauce to use which also had a zippy flavor that was great!! Definitely recommend and I'm looking forward to dining again!! read more

I was looking forward to this place because I've had in Destin and Ohio and it was great. This new location was very disappointing. The food came looking nothing like the menu or the other locations. Pictures included here. Hopefully it's a growing pain and they figure it out. I won't be back again for a while. That's too bad! I highly recommend other locations of this chain though. (Zero coleslaw, zero white bbq sauce, 1 piece of onion.) - smoked chicken sandwich. Like they didn't even try... 2 stars because what was on the sandwich was good. The employees were very pleasant and it was fast to order. The restaurant was very clean and seating was available. The food was good. It's nice to have an alternative bbq place in the area. It was about $20 per person per meal including drink. We will eat here again. read more

Best bbq in Florida hands down, we are from Oklahoma and have been trying to find good bbq and we have found our go to spot from now on!

Last nite I picked up the Brisket Burnt Ends w/ grilled cornbread () baked beans & slaw. Was pleasantly surprised and satisfied! The burnt ends tender, nice bark & flavor, the beans close to my mom's family recipe. Also nice staff at counter gave me sample of pulled pork and both sauces. Was all delish. The staff was very friendly and it was pretty busy on a Friday night. We waited about 30 minutes for takeout and the food wasn't anything spectacular. The smoked turkey was delicious but the mac and cheese didn't have a lot of cheese, it was just kind of buttered noodles. The Banana pudding was also good. I expected it to be just a little better, but overall it was kind of bland. I don't think we will be back :/ read more

OMG! Finally some great BBQ and Southern food in the area! We are from SC and this place hits. Since they opened My husband and I have already driven over 3 times from St. Pete. We are hooked! The pulled pork is so tender and flavorful and do t even get me started on the Smoked Chicken! My husband loves it all but their Buffalo wings and ribs are his favorite. I had the shrimp Moe boy last week and it was really delicious. The baked beans are divine, the baked Mac and cheese is great and they always have some yummy side specials to choose from. Last time they had white Bean Chili that was to die for. If they ever have fried green tomatoes, Brunswick stew or peach cobbler... get them!!! We had to take food home for the next day.
