Moe's has become a popular spot among friends to grab a quick drink nearby. Their service is always on point and since opening, constantly make changes to improve their establishment, like a new menu, live music & karaoke. I'm not a huge fan of their food and mixed drinks could use a little something; they are quick with their take-out orders and owners/family are very friendly. read more

This restaurant recently opened this last week and are still working out some of their kinks with a limited menu. I got the potato twists which were decent with the garlic aioli sauce. The pizza came on a faccocia bread. It was a pan pizza so it certainly had more breading than a normal pizza but the flavors were good. I would've wanted to bake just a bit longer so the cheese melted just a bit more but that's a personal preference haha. Now the drinks were fantastic! The Paloma was a bit spicy for me but was delicious nonetheless! The lemoncello was like a lemonade- gotta be careful with those because the sweet ones are the ones they sneakily get you every time! We can't wait for them to get more settled in and come back once they have a full menu restaurant set! read more

Cute place! I've been eyeing the "coming soon" sign at Moe's and was excited to hear they're now open. My mom and I stopped here for lunch on May 31, and we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner, who was eager to serve us. We both ordered the chicken sandwich on telera, and we both loved it. The bread was soft and tender, and the sandwich was full of flavor from the grilled chicken, raw onions, avocado and chipotle mayo. The sandwich was on the large side, and came with a bag of chips. The interior of the restaurant is brand new, and features modern colors and decor. It's really a cute spot with a small, but nice, menu (sandwiches, salads, pizza, assorted appetizers) and a full bar. I look forward to returning and hope the community will support this business! read more

The drinks were very tasty and well made. We came on a Friday at 9:30 pm. Apparently they have happy hour on Friday until 10 pm. So the drinks we got were half price!! We got a margarita and a mojito normally $12.00 each. Both excellent. As far as food goes we ordered pretzel bites with cheese and Nachos with chicken, chili, cheese, guacamole, and hot sauce. Pretzel bites were ok because they and the cheese were cold. The nachos were really good with generous amounts of chicken. I would definitely come again. Great addition to Wheeling. The only real improvement for Moe's to make is to have real plates instead of paper/styrofoam plates. read more

Very cool spot. They have a nice variety of mixed drinks. So between 3 of us we tried around 7 different drinks. Everything came out great. My favorite was Paloma. Had a couple bite Sized appetizers. There curly fries were off the chart. Side of garlic aioli was a nice touch. The service is amazing and the owners are very sweet. Looking forward to going back again. I enjoy supporting new businesses as they need to grow especially when they do a great job. read more

Stoped in to try the food at this new cafe. We ordered nachos with some drinks and a dessert. The nachos and dessert was fine. Before we left we also ordered a ham & salami sandwich to go. After we got home, and were ready to eat the sandwich , we opened the container to find that our order was not what's listed on menu. First, there was no salami at all on the sandwich just ham, there was no tomato or cucumber either , and the sandwich did not come with chips as listed on the menu. Moe's is a cool new cafe/bar that's quite close to home, so I was excited to check it out. It seemed like they had a small, straightforward menu for food, but the drinks are what caught my attention. They have an assortment of cocktails and martinis to choose from. I ended up ordering a traditional margarita and a paloma. My boyfriend tried the moe-tai. For food we ordered pretzel bites, potato twists, and a turkey sandwich to split. The food was quite good. I particularly liked the potato twists and garlic aioli. The pretzel bites were delicious too...I would have liked the cheese sauce to be a little runnier, but it was good nonetheless. The sandwich was also tasty, but I thought the bread to ingredients ration was a bit off with a little too much bread; still quite tasty since the bread was good. Overall, we were impressed with the food and definitely are looking forward to trying more. Now the drinks. First off, the cocktails are on the expensive side at $12 a drink, but they are quite generous. The moe-tai was nice and fruity and came with a maraschino cherry. The margarita and paloma were both ok...except for the salt. When the server took my order, she asked if I wanted salt, and like a typical margarita connoisseur, of course I said yes! I assumed we were both taking about salt rimmed glasses which are great with tequila drinks, and the glasses were rimmed, but there was also salt IN the drinks. I'm not sure if something got misunderstood...but both my drinks were excessively salty. There were actual salt crystals at the bottom of my margarita glass. I've had plenty margaritas before and a few palomas, but none tasted like that. I was initially confused when I first tried it, but quickly realized why it tasted so odd. I had to drink it super quick before the salt dissolved and ruined the entire drink. I shrugged it off as weird and ordered my paloma, but to my dismay this one came out super salty as well. Unfortunately, this one was not in a margarita glass, so whatever salt they added quickly mixed into the drink before I even had a sip. I could barely taste anything but salt in this drink. I tried to drink it, but halfway through it made me feel sick, so I left it. I thought maybe they had a particular way of making the drinks and I just didn't get it, so I didn't say anything at the time, but honestly the paloma ended up unpalatable. Still unclear what happened....maybe they meant to add sugar? I think overall it's a lovely place, and I'd love to come back to try some other things. I'm really disappointed by the cocktails as that was mainly why I went in the first place, but I'll be willing to give them another chance in the future. read more
