However, when we arrived at the loading dock, several guys placed the pieces on a blanket and told us to load everything ourselves. While we didn't mind helping, it wasn't what we had been told to expect, nor what we've experienced purchasing any furniture at AFW. We asked for assembly instructions but were told none could be found online. Since floor model purchases are final and cannot be returned, we wanted to ensure we could assemble it correctly and there were no missing parts. When we asked again at customer service, an older woman dressed professionally told us the bed frame, new or a floor model, doesn't come with instructions. She was rude, condescending, and implied it "doesn't take a rocket scientist" to assemble a bed frame. She also claimed furniture made in Vietnam doesn't come with instructions, which is completely false. The lack of instructions was disappointing, but the dismissive, rude, and unprofessional customer service was even more so. I cannot recommend this location and will not return.

Ok so this is an update since our last experience. Since we…read morehave been if I'm not mistaken there is a new store manager in place. We were introduced to him by our sales associate as were requesting free delivery for our purchase. His name is Jorge Cervantes. I honestly can't say enough about his customer service skills and how I was able to bend his ear about my dissatisfaction with the customer service I've been receiving from their credit dept. based out of Texas. He reassured me that things are in motion with their upper mgmt to be more customer directed instead of just us being another account number. As I've explained to him we've never missed a pymt or been assessed a late pymt fee and our pymt history is in excellent standing but yet for the last 2 months I've been getting phone calls asking about my pymt. Which I explained to them how about my pymt being late before you start calling. Nonetheless this is about our experience. Conns is pretty decent as far as selection. Our sales associate was pretty "green" but I did appreciate that at the end if it all add he did ask what we thought of her her customer service, so it's nice to see she is open to comments and criticism. I would recommend this location, FYI we live about 7 mins from the Northglenn location but we really would rather take the time to drive to Arvada we have been with them since they opened 3 years ago.

Silly me, this store tried to tell me they were cons with their name and I didn't believe them!…read more I bought a new washer and dryer and just had to refuse delivery on a dryer that was very clearly not new, and was in fact missing a key wiring component. This all happened an hour past the delivery window AND left me with my old washer in the middle of my upstairs hallway. THANKS CONNS! Also- the 3rd party contractor they hired to deliver the appliances accidentally broke the front door of my house. The young man begged me not to file a claim because the company would make him pay out of pocket to fix it. This is an exploitative policy to pit customer and delivery person against one another while leaving the company completely out of it. Shrewd business practice? Maybe. Evil? YES. Run as far away as you can from this horrible company.

Many years ago, we also had them reupholster counter stools to match our family room love seat upholstery. Their furniture is of the best quality, and can be customized as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! If you want to replace the high pressure furniture shopping routine for a great furniture shopping experience, including honest staff and prices, and fine, unique pieces, I highly recommend D'Amore Interiors.

When my husband and I arrived, she said that chair I was interested in was not in stock. I told her that is the chair. I was interested in that she gave me the quote on. She replied." Well, we can't keep everything in stock." I told her we drove a half an hour to get here to see that chair and I was unaware that it wasn't in stock. She asked where we drove from. I told her North Arvada. She replied." There's no way it took you a half an hour. It's a 15 minute drive I live in Broomfield. I know where you live". I cannot believe the unprofessionalism rudeness and laughing when I complained about the drive for nothing. She had the gall to ask if we wanted to look at anything else. I said absolutely not. We will go someplace else with our business. I thought this was an upscale furniture store with professional staff members. We should have been told the chair was not in stock. We should not have been treated rudely and flippantly. Do not give this place your business.

James became our personal interior design consultant and helped us pick our furniture for the entire 3-bedroom home. He took measurements, offered multiple options and made sure all the spaces flowed together. Did I mention he did all of this for us prior to our arrival in Colorado over the phone?!?! James also personally oversaw the delivery, assembly and placement of all of the furniture. It was amazing to see our beautifully furnished home for the first time and sleep in our dream cloud beds after our 30-hour journey from Florida. James made sure everything was exactly perfect. When our sleeper side didn't fit down the stairs, James quickly swapped it out for a Queen futon that same day! The level of service was incredible. If you need 1 piece of furniture or 25, I highly recommend James and Denver City Furniture!

As such I took Thursday, April 2 off from work to make sure that I was available to receive my order in person once I was notified of the actual day of delivery which they never did. That Thursday I contacted Denver City Furniture to find out the status of the delivery of the mattress to my new location where I was moving. They contacted the shipper, presumably FedEx and they were notified that the mattress had been dropped off on Wednesday, April 1. This means that I took a day of PTO for no reason and my mattress was sitting outside possibly available for porch pirates and I was none the wiser. In attempting to get compensated for the monetary equivalent to my loss of a PTO day, I was given a $100 credit to the store which basically covers one goddamn pillow. Despite my frequent pleas for compensation that at the very least matched the monetary equivalent to my lost day of personal time off, I was stonewalled. This is a slap in the face and the message being sent is that my time my frustration and their lack of ability to effectively communicate logistics is only worth less than half of a day pay for me that I am now out. Suffice to say Ashley furniture, and Denver city furniture will not be getting any additional business from me. To be fair, Mark, the sales guy was a peach. Unfortunately though they'll never get my business again and I will be reporting Ashley furniture to the Better Business Bureau because they suck balls. Of course I contacted Ashley corporate and they were zero help and told me I needed to contact city furniture for any help with this. So in predictable form, one entity is pointing fingers at another entity, saying they need to take care of it. Meaning it's a vortex of lousy service.
