We don't need the whole thing built out. Had Dennis call me back twice to schedule an appointment. He was willing to come out right away to look at our basement. He was very friendly and assured me they would be able to do what we want at an affordable cost. (at this point I wanted the wall paneling removed as well, but discovered from other contractor bids that this wasn't worth what it would cost). I contacted Dennis three times over the course of two weeks before he finally got back to me. He apologized and told me to call him back after Labor Day. I did and scheduled a time for him to return to give me an estimate. I actually cancelled plans to make sure I could fit into his schedule. When he returned I told him that we wanted to take the wall remodel out of the estimate. He told me that he would have to redo the entire estimate and would get back to me within a few days with a new estimate. After not hearing anything for TEN days, I called him back. He basically told me that they wouldn't work with me because my budget was too low. I told him it would have been nice if he would have told me that in the beginning as it could have saved me some time. I was actually willing to spend a little more to hire them to do the job because Dennis made me feel like he knew exactly what we wanted and was willing to work with us. I couldn't have been farther from the truth. This company never gave me any paperwork, not even a business card. The other companies I received bids from at least respected my needs. It makes me think I really dodged a bullet by not working with them because they don't seem reliable or really respectable at all.

Unfortunately, almost everything after the sale was frustrating. Communication was consistently poor. I repeatedly had to contact the company for updates instead of receiving them proactively. Although Taelyn responded to emails and apologized at times, getting clear answers about scheduling was difficult throughout the project. The biggest issue occurred on my scheduled installation day. I took time off expecting the crew to arrive, but no one showed up or contacted me. I had to call several times before learning the crew was delayed on another project. I was first told they would arrive that afternoon, only to later learn they weren't coming at all. Delays happen, but customers should be informed instead of having to chase updates. Even after the installation was complete, I had to request my final invoice for two days before receiving a payment link. Shortly after paying, I received a request to leave a review. The fence itself deserves five stars. My two-star rating reflects the company's communication and project management. If those had matched the quality of the installation crew, this would have been a completely different review.

Beware! This guy is awful! I had hired him for a small job,…read moreand he did well, so I thought he could do a slightly bigger job. Boy, was I wrong! He no showed, no response for hours, four times! When he did show up, he did such an awful job, I had to get the work professionally redone. His excuse was that he didn't charge much, so I should not expect it to be done well. He literally said that! He was suppose to do drywall repair, and then texture the walls. He textured first, and then tried to mud over it. It looks like a drunk kindergartner did it. To frame the drywall, he used lumber I had just torn out of the house. Recycling is not the problem. Using wood with nails and wires hanging out of it to frame new drywall is disgusting! He left 3 inch high piles of texture on the floors, sprayed texture in my showers and all over toilets, etc. He even said he was done, and asked me to pay him, when he had forgotten two rooms. He thought I would be dumb enough to pay him, and expect him to return later. Yeah, right! As for unprofessional, he asked me to send him more money on the first day of the job because he didn't have any gas to get home. Save yourself the headache, hire someone else.

We had a general idea of what we were looking for, but his suggestion for this board on board horizontal fence with powder coated steel posts was fantastic.
