The quality of the lumber is outstanding--each 8 x 8 post has a substantial, timber-like feel that truly elevates our outdoor space. Delivery was a bit challenging since it required a semi-truck, and we initially faced issues due to the lack of a forklift. However, the CEO, Tim, went above and beyond to help us navigate the logistics, especially since our project was in Montana and the company is based in Pennsylvania. For kits of this size I think it is recommended to hire people with Carpenter experience to install. I don't think this is reasonably done by homeowners who don't have a lot of Carpenter experience. It's important to note that all site work must be completed before the kits can be installed. For us, that meant extensive concrete work to ensure a level foundation, including sauna tubes going below the frost line for the post footings. As with any large construction project, we encountered a minor hiccup when the supplier mistakenly provided only one order of the metal needed for the roof instead of two. However, once we identified the error, Tim and his team, particularly Mike, who is incredibly knowledgeable, worked diligently to correct the issue and ensure we had everything we needed to finish our project on time. What sets Fifthroom apart is their commitment to customer service. They truly work with you to resolve any issues that arise, making the process much smoother. The materials were first-rate, and the quality of the people you work with is even higher. For all these reasons, I wholeheartedly give Fifthroom a five-star review! I then reached out via FB messenger to see if certain pieces were still available and she was so accommodating and helpful. Yesterday we stopped in to check out some pieces. Bonnie and the gentleman there were both so kind, helpful and understanding. They couldn't have been any nicer. They have a huge selection of furniture, both new and used to choose from. You can rent or buy. A lot of furniture at more "typical" stores right now is on back order which isn't always ideal. Some of the used furniture is in better or worse condition than the next which is to be expected since they can't control how someone cares for the furniture they are leasing. The location was easy to get to with a great parking lot right next door. The space itself was immaculate. Everything was clean and easy to see. They explained how they thoroughly cleaned the each item they lease when it gets turned in which makes me feel much better about buying used from them versus elsewhere. She also assured us that if we weren't 100% happy, we had 120 days to return the mattress. Also included was free delivery, setup and pickup of old mattress. We decided on a mattress and unfortunately, it was too hard so we wanted to exchange it for something else. That was when we found out that there was a $55 restocking fee plus $99.99 shipping charge. WE WERE NEVER TOLD AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE OF THESE CHARGES SHOULD WE DECIDE TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE. It says in the warranty, "you may exchange your mattress once with a return delivery of 99.99 and receive a credit toward the purchase price of a different mattress." They did not get the credit towards the new "more expensive" mattress. Also, when the new foam mattress was delivered, the delivery men said they could not sleep on it until it unrolled or refluffed. This should have been explained at the store. THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH POLICY.... BUYER BEWARE!! No wonder there have been 426 complaints to the Better Business Bureau in the last 12 months and a ONE STAR RATING. I should have read that before going there.
