After looking through the reviews and social media, it also seems like there's a lot of unnecessary drama surrounding the business. I love my visits with Catherine Gibbs…read more Cathrine G is a level 3 stylist that has an eye for color and knows how to cut and style hair. She is someone I fully trust with my hair and love sitting in her chair. They have a pay scale set up by level stylists and I paid $120 for fun color and a cut. From the first visit to now I have fully trusted her and love how my hair grows out. I get so many compliments on my hair and it is the first time in a long time I feel like my hair looks great all the way to the next appointment.

Wow okay I've been blown away by the service I received from Catherine…read more The vibe when you first come in is welcoming and the setting is stylish with lots of flowers and cool "walk around" energy. The staff was kind and offered me snacks and beverages right off the bat. From the moment I consulted with Catherine she asked all the right questions about my hair history and understood the assignment 100%. I'm a new mom and my hair hasn't been highlighted in so long that I wasn't feeling like myself. Not to mention I have thick 3c Curly hair that has older highlights but she handled my hair with care, thoughtfulness and full attention to detail. She was also funny, full of personality and welcoming as a person I felt such a lifelong stylist-customer relationship form almost immediately. My hair is exactly how I wanted it: bright, healthy and vibrant curls. She did her thing and I couldn't be happier.

I feel so ridiculously taken advantage of and ripped off... I sat in my car and cried because I was…read moresupposed to get a haircut, color, and style today for my maternity photoshoot. I was given no consultation when I booked the appointment and when I showed up and showed the stylist what I wanted, she told me that she wouldn't be able to do it for the price I had booked because it was not a single process color, but a full highlight. Ok, it's an extra 10$, but ultimately that was fine. Except she then proceeded to tell me she wouldn't have time to give me the full highlight and could only give me a partial highlight. Very disappointing, but ultimately understandable. She THEN continued to tell me she would need to charge me an extra 25$ for toner. Omg, now this getting ridiculous. My natural hair isn't even that dark, it's a light brown. This cut hasn't even started and I'm already feeling like crap about it. I should've just asked for my money back and walked out after that, but I had my heart set on this look for my photos, so I just said it was fine. I sat in awkward silence in an extremely overcrowded salon for about an hour after that while she put in the highlights. This lady was so unfriendly she never even gave me her name, but I believe it was Melissa S based off the business photos. Overall, the completed look was pretty underwhelming and not really what I asked for, but I didn't hate it. I wanted layers and I can't really tell they're there, and the color doesn't really suit me and is totally off from what I asked for, but I didn't look horrible. I'm not much of a complainer so I just said it was fine once again. Then I started to realize I was really being ripped off when she started unbuttoning the cover after blow drying my hair. Um, excuse me? I asked her if she was just not going to style my hair, because it had been part of what I was paying for. She told me that blow drying my hair was the styling. Listen. This isn't my first time getting my haircut. Blow drying is not the same as styling. The package I purchased said, word for word, "One women's haircut, partial highlights, deep condition, blow-dry, and style." Blow drying my hair and leaving it completely straight is NOT what I paid for. I tried to argue this point and even showed her the wording but she kept insisting she "didn't have time" because her next customer would be there "I'm about 5 minutes." I felt so cheated and rushed out the door. She couldn't even take an extra 5 minutes to give my hair a quick little twist. I'm now stuck at home debating between having to go out and get it styled somewhere else and spend even more money or just calling off my maternity photos entirely. My hair looks so bland and lifeless, and I don't know how to curl it myself. I've never been so undervalued and disrespected, and to top it all off, I'm heartbroken that my photos won't turn out the way I wanted them to. Please avoid this place at all costs. They just want your money and to rush you out the door to get their next paycheck. What an awful experience. Pictures are of what I asked for vs what I got. I'm sure you can tell which is which. 110$ I'll never see again.

There are two small dressing rooms where clients can store their coat/jackets in. Black smocks are also there so we can put on to protect our clothing. My hair stylist is so cool and very knowledgeable and I trust her recommendations. Tiffany has been my hair stylist for years!! I love her! She works with what I have in mind for a style and works her best magic every time. The atmosphere is fancy, high end, but very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoy getting pampered during shampoo and conditioner time. They always offer the client something to drink like water, tea, strawberry lemonade, or coffee. Making an appointment may be setting a date a month or so in advance for highlights/haircut with your favorite stylist. A haircut appointment might be a week or two in advance. I guess this is a good problem to have since it means the salon is pretty busy and their stylists are well experience and in high demand. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
