Both are located near public parking garages, but you might be able to find 1 hour of street parking for $4-something or 2 hours of street parking for $9.45 (what we paid). If using one of the public parking garages, I think the rates are $10/hr or $50/day. We decided to go with Sun & Fun Cycles since both places seemed to be a toss up in terms of reviews. Also, The Bike Shack is closer to Hollywood Blvd, so our assumption was street parking would be more difficult to secure. We called before committing to a parking spot in order to confirm their location and the availability of the bike we wanted, and all of our questions were answered in a friendly and professional tone over the phone. The bike we chose for our party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 10 and under) was the 4-wheel Surrey. We decided to rent it for (1) hour, which was $35. You can either pay with cash or Zelle (no fees) or do a credit card transaction with a fee. While renting the bike, you leave your ID at the bike shop. We ended up biking for about 45 minutes, riding north to Thomas St, then south to Georgia St, and finally north again to get back to Sun & Fun Cycles. During the ride, we tried having (2) adults and (1) kid on the bench and (1) kid on the bench-basket, and (2) adults on the bench with (2) kids on basket-bench. Each of these seating arrangements worked fine. However, both of the adults had very sore bottoms at the end from the uncomfortable bench seat. Other than that, this was a memorable and fun activity for all.

Travis greeted us with a big smile and immediately made us feel comfortable. He thoroughly explained everything. There were two other gentleman who were part of our group for a total of five including our guide Travis. The ocean was very rough that day but we still were able to enjoy it. We had to go slow on the intercostal because it was manatee season on the way to the ocean. The intercostal has so many gorgeous houses and boats to look at along the way. Once at the ocean away from the intercostal, the guys wanted to go fast for an exhilarating experience. I was very happy staying in front of Dr. Von D Mizell-Eula Johnson state park riding my jet ski there while the guys went fast in the big waves. On the way back, Travis took many pictures of myself and my cousin on the jet skis on the intercostal. We both had a fabulous time. I highly recommend our guide, Travis. He was knowledgeable and helpful with anything you need. I'm also very pleased with JetskiFL and I definitely recommend using this company. I will definitely use them again in the future.

A family member had recommended this place due to its convenient location. We arrived in Fort Lauderdale around 10 a.m. We requested early check-in but were denied. We were told that the units 403 and 404 were being cleaned. We checked two times after that; the last time was around 3:30, and we were still told that we could not check in early with the check-in being at 4 p.m. This could have been a great trip; however, when it comes to cleanliness, it was a major letdown. We could not use the stoves in unit 404 due to strong smoke emerging through the unit due to grease and food residue that had not been cleaned up. The coffee makers were covered in mold, and the toasters were rusted with food debris. The fact that a cigarette butt was left on the shower in unit 403 is even more disturbing seemingly that the cleaning team supposedly just finished cleaning. All the cabinets in both units (kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets) were disgustingly dirty. It appeared that they had not been wiped down for some time. The entry door to the other unit made a loud and annoying noise when opening and closing, and sometimes it wouldn't even close properly, requiring a push. The mini bar shaker contained stale and moldy water, posing a significant health risk. To make matters worse, the room service was terrible. We requested washcloths, but they never arrived. The televisions in both bedrooms of one unit didn't work. An offer of $150 for compensation was offered; it was an insult considering everything we had to go through and had to go out every morning to buy coffee. Cooking in dirty kitchens was not an option for us because it was too filthy. Ft. Lauderdale was disappointing, and we will not recommend anyone staying at any of their properties.
