DO NOT try to rent a sling shot from MIA. We spoke to Alfonso and paid the 25$ fee just to hold slingshot for the next day. We agreed upon picking up at 9 am when I arrived at 9 am there was no one at shop so I called Alfonso a few times. I finally received a call back at 9:15 saying he would be at the shop soon. After waiting 45 minutes and Alfonso still not arriving we decided we didn't not want to wait anymore since we weren't even sure if he would ever show up. I was not given a refund for the 25$ even though I was not at fault for slingshot rental falling through. Very disappointed in MIA slingshots for taking my money and not showing up after I put a deposit down to hold slingshot for 24 hours. *UPDATE* I received deposit back finally however I am still very unhappy with service provided read more

Great experience dealing with Alfonso. Originally booked for Thursday drop off at 11am. Rained that day so he contacted us at 730am offering a rain check for the next day and honoring our original price. Smooth, easy, honest and fun experience from start to finish. Definitely recommended. read more

Do not rent. Do not- horrible customer service and greedy business owner. I called to make a reservation and was told $75 per hour and to cash app $25 to hold a spot. Asked him to send me the information to make a reservation but two hours passed and didn't hear from him. Followed up to only hear "nah I'm sorry that hour is now booked" I explained how he did not send me the information to lock down my reservation and he said "hold on, people are now willing to pay extra, I'm going to have to charge" . I said politely declined and said I'm not that customer, you told me a set price- then he lied and said no it's $75 with a 4 hour minimum. . I said no- I'm sorry - then he quickly changed his mind and said "I'll let you do two hours just get here". On our way he called to let us know he is giving our reservation away and to call in the morning to lock down a slingshot. I was very clear that I'm only in town for the weekend and even send a text reminder. Called, no answer. He decides to call us back at noon to let us know that only reservation is at 5. Not only do you pick and choose your customers, but you charge on your mood & on your time. Bad business, unorganized & extremely unprofessional. He even asked me to not write a bad review. Choose wisely. read more

I reserved a Slingshot in advance which went ideal and was told to call if there are any changes to my reservation. I've been calling for about 2 weeks now no answer and mailbox is full. I'm only writing this in hopes it gets their attention, and make sure everything is good with my reservation. read more
