After cooking it, I found out it tasted terrible, and later learned that amberjack is not a fish most people eat because it can carry toxins and parasites. I felt completely misled. This kind of dishonesty makes it impossible to trust what they're selling--who even knows when the fish was caught or if it was fresh at all. If you want safe, quality seafood and honest advice, I'd recommend skipping the marina fishermen and going to a reputable seafood market instead. It's a shame, because I would have been a regular customer if they had been honest from the start.

The equipment is clean and the trip is worth it, plan for a good weather day because i feel like this is the only way to really enjoy it. I will be back to visit again for sure.
