We had an active termite infestation, they came out and analyzed it and then called Interstate Repair Services, they gave us an estimate of $1500.00 worth of damage. That did not even cover the insulation that had to be replaced. Look elsewhere for a reputable Pest company that honors its warranties. I had found the original warranty from 2000 and it states that with an active termite infestation they will pay the damages. I can attest they will not, you will be left doing the repair work and paying for it. I contemplated legal action, but at this point, it is not worth it, I have dealt with chain companies, and they are very good at hiding behind franchises. I will make it a point to let everyone know, this is how they treat customers.

At first, I was not quite sure if I wanted to add the pest control package but finally decided as I had a mouse problem in my garage and ants in the house. I'm so glad I bought both packages. Since the Healthy Home Pest technicians have been coming I have not been bitten by a mosquito (it is mid summer now) even though I work in my garden every day and cook out frequently. November 2020, we used Valley Termite & Pest Control, Staunton, for a termite treatment of the…read morehouse we were purchasing. The price for the service included, in writing, a one-year guaranty including a free inspection at our request (and treatment of the affected area, if needed) within the first year AT NO CHARGE. We even got a reminder letter in January to make that free inspection appointment before the year expired. When we called to make our appointment, we were told that they were under new management and would not honor our guaranty--and the visit would cost us $109.25 or their technician would not come out even for the inspection, not to mention any required treatment. We asked to talk with a manager, but even that was denied. We were only able to speak with the women who make the appointments and they were unclear what the policy was since they were new and the management had changed. However, they were the ones who delivered the final decision not to honor the guaranty after our third call to them. The fact that the new management wouldn't even call us back to discuss or explain, tells you what type of business ethics these people have. We have a clearly written guaranty, a reminder letter of that guaranty, and the new owners won't even talk to their customer. STAY AWAY FROM VALLEY TERMITE.

I selected Valley Termite and Pest Control to complete a termite treatment for a circa 1890's Historic Chapel approved for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. 10 months later, I'm confident I made the right choice. The crawlspace areas in this historic Chapel Property are very tight and difficult to access. Valley Termite and Pest Control took the extra time and effort to go into all these spaces to inspect and treat. The Base of the Bell Tower however was not accessible when the termite treatment was initially completed ten months ago. This week, when we replaced the flooring in the Bell Tower, Valley Termite and Pest Control made a special trip to Harrisonburg to treat the Bell Tower... at No Charge. Todd, Margaret, and all the Pest Control Techs who came out to service the Mabel Memorial Chapel were so very polite and professional. I was very positively impressed.
