She actually takes the tipe (and talent) to form acrylic tips around your existing nail and encourages the natural nail to grow. She can make custom arcylic colors to match anything you need. She also does fun designs for holidays and other special events. She is also very gentle and never in two years did she cut me or make my hands sore like other shops have done. Her shop is cute, especially around Halloween when she sets up all her great decorations. She has a big tv in the shop and a lot of DVDs to choose from. You can watch movies while you get your nails done. She also had better prices than pretty much any other shop in town. And offers other services along with her manicures and acrylic nails. She has a very comfortable pedicure chair as well. She books up far in advance, so make sure you schedule your appointment a few weeks ahead of time.

The place is about a 2 star in ambiance, so don't expect any. Their tools were clean & packaged but beyond appearance, I felt comfortable that they were safe to be used on me. They had a reasonably variety of colors so I found one close to what I usually wear even though it wasn't an OPI. They did have OPI & China Glaze & others to choose from. I get a regular manicure every week & usually pay $12 in Houston. The price here was $15 so still very reasonable. Ken did my nails & did a 3.5-4 star job. I'm happy with how well he took care of my dry cuticles. So if you really need a manicure, it's worth a shot. I figured I'd spend way more than $15 buying polish remover, polish, base & top coat to try & do a crappy job myself & I'd still have unruly cuticles. So for me, Ill come back & look for Ken if I'm in town again & in need of getting my nails done.

There were small dead bugs on the shelf above the sink. Around the corner from sink, was washer dryer combo, very dirty, and two used trays of tools were sitting on top. I never saw anyone remove any sterilized tools from the sterilizer or a sealed package. The nail tables had old nail peelings on them and were very dirty. A guy did my pedicure. He clipped my toe nails with a cuticle clipper and he cut them at an angle, even though I asked him who cut straight. The final product was good, actually better than I expected. But I will not go back does to the lack of cleanliness. The shocking part is , it's inside the Walmart store.
