Glow Spa is definitely not your typical med spa, and I'm all for it. This is their Midtown…read morelocation, which I frequent because of the super convenient parking right out front--makes it so easy for a quick drop-in or last-minute appointment. The waiting area is welcoming and bright, with gorgeous white marble floors and large windows that let in tons of natural light. The space feels open and airy, and they've got a great selection of skincare products displayed alongside comfortable seating, so you can relax while you wait. The check-in staff are always super friendly and offer refreshments, which is a nice touch. As for treatments, I've had a few great experiences here. I've done a laser treatment on my face to help with discoloration spots, a Dermaplane (which is amazing for getting rid of that pesky peach fuzz that sneaks up as I get older), and their hydro facials are perfect for adding extra moisture during the summer months when my skin needs it most. You can easily book appointments online, or if you prefer, you can call them directly. I've also found that emails get a quick follow-up call within 24 hours, so they're always on top of communication. Overall, Glow Spa is a reliable, relaxing, and professional spot that makes skincare a breeze.

Glow med spa gave me a chemical burn after lying to me about the safety of a procedure on tretionin…read moreand then further attempted to lie after. I went in for a brow lift for a big event coming up in a few days, and while there, the esthetician convinced me to get a brow tint and a lamination. I asked her if it was okay to do since I am on tretinoin, and she said yes, the only thing I couldn't do was wax, so she plucked my brows instead. During the procedure, I asked if it was meant to be burning and painful, and was told yes. We even talked about me being on tret while the procedure was happening! My brows were bright red afterward and painful, and in the morning, I had scabbing in certain spots, red skin, and they were still very painful even without touching them. I very clearly had a chemical burn. After a quick Google search, I learned you should not do a brow lamination while on tret, and I called the spa, who told me I was wrong and there was nothing done at the spa that could have given me a burn. I did not believe them, so I called my dermatologist afterward, who said lamination should not be done on tret or any other retinoids. I am attaching my text conversation below with Glow Med Spa (I cropped out the beginning, which includes personal information) during which they tried to gaslight me into believing they had done nothing wrong and that I was experiencing a "personal allergy." They changed their tune when they realized I was not, in fact, an idiot, and had spoken to a qualified professional elsewhere to further confirm. I really am not the type of person to leave bad reviews. I have never done so in my life and probably never will again. But the fact that they tried to trick me after they gave me a chemical burn is just not acceptable. The burn that they gave me is thankfully not terrible but they have not only ruined a big event for me, the chemical burn could have very easily been worse potentially scarring me, and they were happy to lie about the entire thing.

I've had facials done regularly at a number of spas around Savannah, so I have a pretty good sense…read moreof what's out there, and this one stood out in an unexpected way. The space itself is a bit more bare bones than some of the more high-end, aesthetic-focused spas in the area, so if you're going purely for ambiance, it may feel a little understated. That said, the quality of the service is what really matters, and this is where they absolutely deliver. The facial was thorough, professional, and clearly tailored to my skin's needs. I noticed a visible improvement afterward, my skin looked healthier, more even, and just overall refreshed in a way that lasted beyond the typical "post-facial glow." What I appreciated most is that the focus here is on results rather than frills. The services feel accessible and effective, which makes it a great option for someone who wants consistent skincare without paying for extras they don't necessarily need. I'm seriously considering their monthly membership because the results were strong enough to justify making this part of my regular routine. If you're looking for a place that prioritizes outcomes over atmosphere, this one is definitely worth trying

I took my wife here for a couples massage for her birthday. She has been to many spas before, so…read moreshe had a good sense of what to expect. The front office staff were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the actual massage experience was somewhat underwhelming for both of us. In fact, certain areas felt more aggravated afterward rather than relaxed. My wife also mentioned that at most spas, there's usually a space to sit and unwind after your session, but here we felt like we had to remain in the lobby just to drink water, which took away from the overall experience. During my massage, something was placed over my eyes that I initially thought was a towel, but later found it was I believe was the cover of the head rest. My wife did not have anything placed over her eyes, so the experience seemed inconsistent. I did leave a tip, but overall, we're unsure if we would return. Seemed a bit overpriced for what we received

1 Star - Dangerous Negligence & Lack of Care My Background:…read moreI'm an internationally recognized spa industry trainer/consultant who trains spa owners worldwide. Former spa owner (15 years), published author of "Customer Service Is Not Rocket Science," and luxury travel specialist evaluating spas globally for high-end retreat guests. I literally train the industry on exceptional spa service. In all my years visiting/training spas worldwide, I have NEVER experienced this level of negligence or injury. What Happened: During my massage, I experienced a significant injury when the therapist inappropriately pulled my neck in an improper range of motion. Pain was immediate and severe. Most Alarming: Left Alone While Injured I was left on the table briefly paralyzed and unable to move. I stated this TWICE--that I could not move and was in severe pain. The owner never came to check on me. The therapist kept insisting I get ready for my next service. I struggled alone to get up, get dressed, and walk out in excruciating pain. When I reached the lobby barely able to move, the owner sat with arms crossed, showing no concern. She didn't introduce herself, didn't stand to address me, and treated the situation with complete indifference. Blame-Shifting Instead of Accountability Both therapist and owner repeatedly implied the injury was my fault--a pre-existing condition--despite: Never experienced this injury before Felt the exact moment of improper technique Intake paperwork noted no prior neck injuries This was clearly negligence, not pre-existing Complete Lack of Accountability After Injury: No accountability - Owner treated me like I was taking advantage, not as an injured paying customer Broken promises - Agreements to issue refund check were never honored No empathy - I incurred $500+ in medical expenses (doctor visits, co-pays, treatments, travel), owner showed zero concern Refund mishandling - After agreeing to issue check (my card was cancelled due to fraud alert from unknown charge from this spa), owner issued refund to cancelled card anyway without informing me Boundary violations - After requesting all communication via mail, owner disregarded this professional boundary Industry Expert Perspective: This Is Dangerous As someone who trains spa owners worldwide on safety protocols and duty of care: this establishment presents a serious safety risk. In my training programs, I teach what to do when clients are injured: Immediately check on them Offer assistance Show concern and empathy Take full responsibility Follow up to ensure wellbeing This spa did NONE of these things appropriately or timely. Instead, they left me alone, showed indifference, and blamed me for their employee's negligence. This spa would never qualify for my curated collective and represents everything I teach spa owners NOT to do. Awards Don't Equal Quality Service This spa has been voted "Best Day Spa in Pooler" multiple times, yet other reviews cite consistent customer service failures. As someone who trains spa owners on truly award-winning service: awards mean nothing without the fundamentals--safety, accountability, communication, and genuine care. Real excellence is how you treat people when something goes wrong. The One Bright Spot The only person who demonstrated professionalism and genuine customer service was front desk staff member Becky. She kept her word, followed through, and treated me with respect. She's the only reason this isn't zero stars. Bottom Line I attempted to resolve this privately with integrity. I'm a woman of faith who prayed about this situation and hoped to resolve it as fellow believers and businesswomen (I'd even patronized the owner's faith-based coffee shop). Unfortunately, I've been consistently disregarded, invalidated, and treated as an afterthought. I cannot recommend this spa. If something goes wrong--and based on other reviews, this isn't isolated--you'll be on your own. As someone who visits spas worldwide and trains the industry on excellence, there are far better options that value clients, prioritize safety, and understand basic customer service. As someone who has trained countless spa professionals worldwide and created industry standards: this is not just poor service--it's a dangerous failure of the most basic duty of care. Please be cautious if you choose to visit this establishment.

I was greeted right away by a beautiful, dark-haired lady whose smile was just as sweet as her welcome. I wish I caught her name, because she really made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through the door. While I waited for my appointment with Erin, I sat in the most fabulously decorated lobby--crisp cream colors everywhere, giving it a fresh, relaxing feel. I was offered a beverage of my choice and went with a glass of prosecco that had a strawberry wafer at the bottom, which gave it the perfect touch of sweetness. Then Brooke came out to take me to the back, and she was just as wonderful! She took the time to ask me about my history with these types of procedures and checked in to see if I had any concerns. Even though she is young, Brooke is incredibly professional and made the whole experience feel comfortable and welcoming. And then, there's Erin. What can I say? She is truly a beautiful ball of light. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, but her personality just glows. Erin is so knowledgeable about her craft and you can tell that she's got a lot of experience, even though she looks so young herself. I really appreciated that when I asked her about lip filler, she immediately told me, "No, you don't need that." She isn't someone who will upsell you on things you don't need just to make a dollar--she truly cares about her clients and it shows. Erin is kind, sincere, and truly a master at what she does. I'm so grateful that I found her and the whole team at Park Aesthetics. I can't wait to go back!
