The check in process was easy but for your first time here you may not know! Just go to the ipad & follow the questions! The girl did exactly what I wanted - no judgement, no putting her own twist on it, i showed her how much i wanted off & she did just that! I had wanted to get rid of a good portion of my tail & make my brows straighter & she did them amazingly!! This was also my first time getting them threaded, a LOT less painful than wax. I hate when i'm getting waxed and the light is really bright that i want to really squeeze my eye & the hot wax under my brow - it's very over stimulating. with threading, you get to hold your eye a little & get that extra blocking of light & since you're kinda covering your eye, it isn't as scary!! They don't play music, so there isn't a lot going on to distract you, but it kinda makes it a little less overstimulating! This place is a 10/10 on everything. if you need music bring an earbud! I've told all my close family about this place. Love it here!!

She was super attentive to me. I had some scabs on my legs and she made sure to avoid it, because she didn't want the laser to target the darker pigment on the scab. Prahb was constantly checking up on me, making sure that the laser wasn't too strong and making sure that I wasn't in any pain. I also saw some progress from my 1st treatment. Some of my leg hairs were noticeably thinner, and some were growing at a shorter rate than others. Overall, great experience and I will make sure to update whenever I come for my next treatment.

Not only did Anu do an excellent job on my brows but in all the years I've gotten my brows threaded, I've never had a brow tech suggest how I can thicken my brows, I truly appreciated her tip and I'm anxious to try it. I stumbled on B Blush because I was in the area and I think I found my new threading spot. The inside was clean, quiet and Anu immediately greeted me and was quick and precise with her threading. I really like that after your 5th or 6th threading your next is free; the threading place I usually go to you have to get 10 threadings before you get a free one and you also get a free threading your bday month. Definitely check them out and ask for Anu!

I don't know how the salon world really works, I suppose. What I DO KNOW is that Kim is amazing. She's the nicest lady, and remembered me even though I didn't come in for, like, three months. The front desk staff at Humphrey's had screwed up my scheduling initially - like, I was supposed to be on the books, but found out they cancelled my appointment without telling me - and that was in February...since then, I've missed an appointment (they didn't call to remind me of the appointment, either, which is weird) and had to reschedule. When I went yesterday, I found out that Humphrey's is under new management, which explained all the confusion. But my review is on Kim - she's amazing at what she does - and she does hair waxing and sugaring. You can't find sugaring ANYWHERE else...it's safer, cleaner, and just slightly less painful than waxing. Kim is very thorough and makes you feel SO COMFORTABLE, despite the fact that she is, in fact, ripping out your hair from its roots. The prices are slightly steep, but comparable to what other salons are charging for waxing. Apparently she does FULL BODY hair removal, too. Just in case you were wondering. I was next in line, but another customer approached, and I heard Rani reassure them, "Just two minutes." While I understand wanting to acknowledge waiting customers, it made me worry that my appointment was going to be rushed. Personally, I'd rather wait a few extra minutes if it means the person providing my service can take their time and focus on the client they're currently with. During the threading, the thread snapped several times. At one point, it snapped hard enough that it went inside of my closed eye. I know accidents happen, and I wasn't upset about the mistake itself, but it did make the experience uncomfortable. Slowing down a bit could help make the service feel smoother and more relaxing. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. Rani was very detail-oriented when it came to shaping my eyebrows. She took the time to make sure they were even, well-groomed, and nicely trimmed. Right after my appointment, I wasn't sure how I felt about the final result. Now that a couple of days have passed, I've actually grown to really like them. Looking back, I appreciate how clean and polished my eyebrows look. Overall, I'd describe my experience as mixed.
