Beware of the price of their pastries as we stopped into this supposedly friendly North End coffee shop and got gouged up the ying yang for a cinnimon bun at the tune of $6.72, the same bun that you can buy at Gunn's balkery for $2.72. When we asked the girl working there she said the prices had gone up a bit, which I find funny as a bit might be 25%, but charging 200% for a dam bun and the prices of the rest of the pastry is the same and they are all Gunn's bakery products, and I have to doubt they get a discount when they purchase the products from Gunn's. The pastry is great, but if you want it, go and get it from Gunn's, as you will get close to 3 times as much for the same price. The capuchino itself was a total rip, ordered a same and had a shot added to it, which I had to go back and get as the server fprgot to put in, but did not for get to charge and when I did not drink it right away I found I had about 1/3 a cup as all the foam had disapated and left nothing. North End neighbourhood shop, with down town market street prices, they should be ashamed the way they gouge people to come into their run down building full of old used furniture and and figure people they are part of that same neighbourhood, when they are the neighbourhood predators, so sad. read more
