Shrimp tacos, beans, cruncy horrible rice
    Dawn R.

Came here on a Friday during Lent. The ONLY non-red meat item on the menu was shrimp tacos. They were terrible. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It came with flavorless beans, terrible CRUNCHY rice, and pico de gallo. Our waitress took good care of our large group. There was a fire going outside that folks were gathered around on a cold February evening. Parking is sparse... it seems to need more spaces available. Overall, I would not return.

We stopped in Model A and it was an OK experience. It is a large brewery with lots of seating inside and outside. They have a large bar , which is were we sat. Service was ok , not overly attentive, which reduced my review by one star. My husband had a flight , a pumpkin ale, all night blonde ale, copperhead cream ale and the cleanest dirty shirt named after the Kris Kristofferson song Sunday Morning Coming Down. They were all good. They offer a variety of food items.

Pretty bad picture but these are the buffalo chicken tenders I ordered.

Went on a Tuesday with some family and we sat outside. There was very little people at all. I've been a few times and the food has been great but it always takes a while for the food to be brought out. Well we ordered and it took an hour to get any food brought to our table. Two people got theirs and it took about fifteen more minutes to get the rest of our food. Unfortunately I don't think that I will be returning because of how long it took to get our food and it's not the first time either. Atmosphere is great, but service is not it.

No lid for my sauce (onion petals were tasty--- but I needed my sauce) .....

I really wanted to give three stars.... The food was pretty tasty, except for the sauce I didn't have with my onion peels... because they didn't have lids for the sauce cups... and it spilled into the bottom of the boat and into the boat sleeve.... All of that to say I am truly disappointed in the over-arching customer service department called management. I ordered eight menu items. They all came in individual boats, and you'll never guess what happened next... they don't have any bags for our food! Womp Womp! Guys, you should get the "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" bags before you have customers giving you horrible reviews! That's dumb, cheap and poor customer service. The food would've been a strong four! p.s. That's my PINK bag from my trunk... lol, but not really...

$18 for "Easter Brunch": 2 eggs, 2 meats, grits, white or wheat bread, and jelly. The photo is what we got.

Meager attempt for Easter Brunch. Sausage was dry, paper thin, and flavorless frozen to fry variety; Ran out of grits; eggs were overcooked and under the heat lamp for a while; a tiny dab of jelly; hockey puck, dry biscuits; NO substitutions; charged extra for any requests we made;NO regular menu items as alternatives; this "meal" was $18. Grossly disappointed. Maybe next brunch attempt will be better.

My wife and I stopped in with our niece and his new bride. We were only visiting for the night and asked them to pick a spot for us to go. They picked a winner! We truly enjoyed their uniquely crafted beers! For our mains, my wife ordered their Caesar salad with chicken and bacon. I ordered potstickers for the table and pork shoulder quesadilla for my main. My wife and I both truly enjoyed our meal and our server. It is in a quasi industrial type setting, but not too loud. If you're looking for some really good crafted beers and an eclectic menu, this is the place. We truly enjoyed it!

Empties. Waiting to be refilled (that never happened).

Still...this place has some hits and misses for me. Everything about it is ok, but nothing over the top or stand out. I love a spot that has a kids menu - there's something for everyone on their menu. You can't go wrong with a quesadilla, and my kids loved it. Now, my husband got the buffalo chicken version, but I think he got cheese, or they ran out of chicken. It just lacked any kind of buffalo chicken flavor. (We were assured it was the buffalo one). I got the potstickers, and as you can see from the picture, they were cooked a little too long, and lacked flavor. The dipping sauce was good though. The beer was fine - we both got a hazy. Again, nothing that stood out, but a clean, drinkable beer. I know a lot of people rave about this spot, I guess we just come on off nights.

We made this a stop on our way from Hartsville to Charlotte. It's a very nice place with plenty of parking. Our server was spot on, she had great knowledge about the beer and made solid recommendations. The food was good and came out in a timely manner. Jared makes great beer and always has a good selection on tap! He had everything from a cream ale to a NEIPA. Ignore the reviews complaining about "hoppy" beers or they didn't have a wheat on tap these are people who know nothing about craft beer and usually drink ultra or some other commercial crap beer.

Had the pleasure of visiting Model A Brewing 9n a cold rainy Wednesday in December. It is hard to get to, basically had to go around a round about to locate the parking lot which is in an elevated area. It shares space with other businesses, including a virtual golf business. It looks rather new and offers a good selection of spirits, including some nice options for scotch, bourbon, and whiskey. They have a nice selection of beers. I tried the Sappy Camper, a maple dark lager. It was good. Also tried their Saison and Hefeweizen. The later two were just okay. At 5%, they were watery and really just okay. They tasted quite similar, which told me all I needed to know. I was impressed by the overall atmosphere, so I will be returning. Seems like a cool place to meet for drinks, and they have TVs in case someone wants to watch a sporting event.

In all my visits, walked past this place a dozen times but hadn't ventured in. Model A has a lil satellite space over by my Dad's place, at the local pool. Wide variety of tap beers, from seltzer to sour, blondes to Rye IPA... kitchen menu looked good but we didn't eat. QR scan for full menu. Tasting flights were the call of duty- and priced amazingly low. Loved the presentation and cool wood holders with metal plates- magnet affixes your tasting flight info. Knowledgeable staff and my favorite were the tank tops that read "May contain alcohol". Tee's and tanks for sale btw. Patio seating, and I know they have live music on weekends. Can't speak to weeknights- never in town at those times. Ample parking and flight cost $12 (+tax)

Nice visit! I like the space, large garage doors on each end, would have been nice to have warmer weather. The patio had a few peeps but none of the heaters we're running. Had the Pale Ale and West Coast IPA. Super clean beer, West Coast was delish, very bitter, the way I like it. My friend had the TexMex Bowl, tasty. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich. Really good. The fries were perfect. Overall great experience. Our server Kennedy was sweet, very attentive!

Dog friendly! Patio was my fav.

They have indoor and outdoor seating. The entranceway is so wide open that's sitting inside was like sitting outside. It was a beautiful night weatherwise. Obviously known for their options of beers, my colleague got a flight of four IPAs and I went with a bourbon old-fashioned. He enjoyed all four of his beers saying that the east was his favorite. Though my drink was to be an old-fashioned, they did not have any fruit, nothing to muddle, and no sugar. Understanding that this is not a cocktail bar, but a craft beer house, don't advertise an old-fashioned unless you have all the ingredients necessary to make one. The light snack we had was the pretzel. It came out quick and warm. It came with two types of sauces. There was a beer, cheese sauce, and a mustard sauce. Both perfect for dipping the pretzel into. The staff was super friendly and frequently came by to check in on things.

With the beer, their large pretzel was tasty with the beer cheese (shouldn't there also have been a pot of mustard?) and we enjoyed that as well.
