This was my first vape shop and it's true what most of the reviews say. The people are nice, welcoming to newcomers, and knowledgeable. I'd still recommend a new vaper purchase their first setup here and learn the ins and outs in person. However... I recently went in when my 2nd device just up and quit on me. Was told that's a shame, no offer to repair - the guy kinda looked at it and tried to charge it but gave up. I was in a bind at that point and I think I got taken advantage of. My mistake was just trusting that their prices were fair and I'd be paying a reasonable markup for staff service and immediate pickup. But I ended up paying almost 3x (even after a supposed 15% discount for my predicament) the online price for a new mod that was even the floor model without the retail box. I should have looked online before I got it but again, just assumed the markup was fair. Also their juice selection at first seems great but the shelves are pretty bare whenever I go in there, and approximately 50% of my visits ended up with a random juice because they were out of what I wanted. I don't vape an unusual strength nic either. Buy your juices and hardware online, but go here if you are new or want to hang out with other hardcore vapers and do some advanced stuff. read more

I personally do not vape, but have a couple of friends that do, and like to get some different juices or what have you as gifts, and so, blindly, I went to Mode Vape. Awesome decision! The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and even saved my friend some money with some maintenance recommendations. The transaction was beautifully fast and easy, and they even offer gift cards for the more particular vaper! There isn't much to a vape shop, and you can tell as much by how many have popped up all over the past few years, but Mode Vape takes exceptional steps to make sure that you are satisfied completely with your purchase, and most importantly, staying away from cigarettes. The experience here was second to none, from customer service, to selection, to value. I must say, it's weird, however, that as of a couple days ago I can't legally enter this shop again, but in a year when I can and so long as my friends are still in the "scene," I, and they, will be heading straight over to Mode. read more

Yelpers, you are spot on! What nice employees they have here! And just an overall great atmosphere. I went to get coils and the gentleman helping me (the hot blonde who's name I didn't get, who looks like a rocker), was very friendly and personable. Helped me with my purchase and clowned my ghetto unit (it's all taped up cuz some idiot sat on it and bent it). Their prices are the least expensive I've seen and they were having a sale. Score! There was a juice bar too. I didn't need much but it looks like they have a good selection of products and accessories. Street parking which wasn't too hard too get. Ok, so I've been here a few times now (40 or 50 times) and I still love it. In fact I love it even more than I did after the 20th, 30th or 40th time. These guys and gal always take great care of me (and my friends & family who come here). They really care about their customers and their vaping styles. They won't try to sell you the most expensive mods by default. They want you to be happy with your purchase. They really listen and are always happy to explain anything you don't understand without treating you like an idiot for not knowing something. The only time I go to a different vape store is for the one brand of juice they aren't able to carry (Royal Phoenix, to which I am addicted), and if it weren't for that I would only come here. 2 to 3 times a week, I'll visit Mode Vape. Because it's simply the best in my opinion if I need a cotton change, a rebuild, or some new juices. They are always stocked with the juices that I need and they are pretty good in the area of customer service as well. The store is very clean and provides its guests with comfortable sitting and awesome conversations while we wait. This was by far the best vape shop I've ever walked into. Great atmosphere, great people, great price. Arthur is a great guy, haha. He unscrewed this cartomizer that my friend and I were sure wouldn't come undone. We ended up spending an hour or two in there, but to be honest I could have stayed all night. Everyone was helpful, we got to try new flavors, and he even helped me get ahold of some KUSTOM liquid. Now that I'm more familiar with yelp, I won't leave a tip, rather a review and the 5 stars you guys deserve haha. What is most unique about this place is that there's no televisions, unlike most shops have, so it makes it so guests have a good ol' conversation with eachother. With the crowd that goes there, it isn't hard at all. They're all really chill and have a wide variety of age. They also have a great selection of quality mods and pens, flavors, along with tanks, atomizers, batteries, chargers, tips... Basically anything you would ever need for your vaping experience. My first visit to Mode Vape was not too long after they opened. I was still fairly new to the vape scene but my experiences with other shops left something to be desired. There are a few things that set Mode Vape apart from your typical vape shop. 1. Customer service: - I was greeted when I walked in and helped with everything I asked about. -The staff is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to.(at some other shops employees are standoffish and seem uncomfortable or even annoyed with someone new walking in) -The staff take the time to walk you through anything you don't understand, and will work with you until you're comfortable doing it yourself. 2. Atmosphere: -The shop is large and open. -Display cases and counters are clean. -Decor is modern and tasteful. It's the type of place that makes you want to stay and hang out. 3. The setup in this store leaves much to be desired. I came in shoppong for juice and the first thing I noticed was employees trying to take hits from their mods while working. Very unprofessional. Put the mod down and service your customers. Second the bar area was full of people just hanging out not buying anything. What is the purpose of having the couches if no one is using them? Ended up paying over $30 for two bottles of juice that I didnt really want in the first place due to the ones I wanted not being in stock. Asked about their deals on juice wondering when it was or what day of the week it was. The answer I got? "Random." Ok. Will not be coming back. Once they get to know you they'll offer the specific juices you're interested in. They always have deals going on. Really liked the roominess they had to offer, they had polite service and seemed to know what they were talking about-only drawback was they didnt carry my juice (EZ DOES IT) and they charged almost twice a much as Vapor Devil (the other vape shop I normally go to in Covina) for a rebuild..unless their using golden cotton, I don't see why they need to charge twice as much for a rebuild, theres only so many ways you can do a rebuild and basically its the same unless you do it standing up instead of sitting down but if thats the case you shouldnt charge so much...that's absolutely ridiculous, maybe a more inexpensive location with lower rent might be in order for these guys cause why would you charge so much when other places do it for half as much?? read more

Went Here few weeks ago for a vape comp and they had good giveaways for five star juice a Dj bumping music and had liquor available for people and I never seen that before but the comp was fun they measured density and cloud length.
