The workers who we had remove and re-install a countertop were fantastic. The office manager was less than helpful. I was quoted $150 via phone to do the job. When they sent the bill it was $700 plus tax. I called and spoke with the office manager who wanted to know who did the original quote, I did not have the name of the person nor did i get a written quote. Someone else got on an extension stated they don't leave the building for less than $275.00. they both had a rude and condescending attitude. These guys are crooks. If you use them make sure to get a written estimate. I take full blame for using this company but we will not be using them for anything else. You have been warned. read more

Would not recommend them to anyone. We ordered counter tops and back splash all of the same quarts. First attempt they forgot to make the back splash. Second attempt broke one piece trying to install and two pieces didn't fit they were cut wrong and outlets in wrong place. Third attempt the two pieces still didn't fit. Finally had to give up, they couldn't match up the counter tops and back splash. Probably going to tear counter tops out and start over. Very disappointed and un happy with there work. read more

I worked with a salesperson in Febuary. I let him know I needed a counter relatively quick. I wanted to pick color by how quickly it would be installed. It is now May 19th, and still the constant brush off. Zero communication. My last install date was May 17th. Came and went, no call. Very poor customer service. Managers excuse is once it is out of sales persons hands, they have no way of knowing what is happening with it. Well that is a problem that needs addressed asap. read more

I own a kitchen and bath sales and design shop. I have been selling countertops for over 20 years and this is the absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with. After the rep begged me for months to open an account with them, I ordered my first top. Order was easy enough. Install day comes, the gal that templated measured wrong so part of the top had to be remade. Ok, that happens on occasion. The week after the top was installed my customer chipped the top. I called, texted and emailed my rep and the main office for 3 months asking for them to come repair the top. No one returned my calls or messages. 3 MONTHS LATER, my contractor finally gets a hold of someone in person and asked them about repairing the top. I get an email reply that stated: "(We)decided that we will choose to not do any repairs to the countertop. It's a long way to travel and expensive for both customer and us, we don't have any other jobs close to there anytime soon. This material is repairable, but depending on the size of the chips, it can be difficult to make it look good." Keep in mind this reply stating they will not service their own product came after 3 MONTHS of unanswered phone calls, texts and emails. So.....they can sell and install it here, but it's too far away to service. What a joke! I will never sell another one of their tops again. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. read more

Will not return emails or calls. I contacted Jay Jeffery a few times back in June regarding a residential job. Probably a bit bigger than average sized job. I emailed my kitchen plans, details of what we were looking for and never heard anything back so I pinged him via email again a couple days later. He did email be back and said he would look over the plans and get back to me. Never heard anything back for over a week so I pinged him again and asked him what was going on and if I needed to find someone else. He emailed me back the next day and apologized for the delay and said he would be in touch soon. I never heard from him again so I hired Premier Surfaces out of Spearfish and gave them my money instead. I guess Moda didn't need the moola. read more
