I know there are a lot of small fashion shops around but the owners of this place are the best and go out of their way for their customers (unlike other retail places around) this has been, and will be my go to shop... not all there clothes are for my, my style but I love their plain colored tees. I don't know what happened to this store and how they pick their staff now, but they are absolute trash. Ever since the old store manager left this store has hired the worst people and the store always looks like crap. The old manager had this location looking good, fully stocked and her team was on point and very professional. They lost the true face of 5.11 on that one. I recently went to this 5.11 location on Friday March 28th with my family to see if things changed and I was reminded for the final time why I will NEVER return again. The guy in the front said something when we walked in and never said another peep or offered to assist with anything at all the whole time we were there. That's not even what bothered me. What made me absolutely livid was when the female worker blew my father off mid-sentence when he was asking her a question about their sale and said "It just depends" with a snarky attitude and TURNED HER BACK ON HIM AND WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE. I almost lit her up. I'm done with 5.11 once and for all and I know deep down many others are as well. Shame on this company for allowing such people to work there and for allowing such an environment.

Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately, as he was helping another customer. I found the shoe on display and checked the price - gulp. I told him I'd be right back. Ran over to the large higher end department store in the mall, found an Italian made shoe of the same type for 30% less. When staff brought it out, the toe of the shoe was uneven with a texture like orange peel or goose bumps on the toe. I asked to see another pair, but it was very crowded and he didn't have time. I decided to spend the extra. Upon returning and being fitted by Dylan, in close examination of the shoe, I saw a slight texture similar to what was on the less expensive shoe. In rechecking the display model, I saw it also had a similar slight texture. These are highly polished shoes, but I've never owed a pair, so I don't know if this is typical. I specifically wanted patent leather, rather than a man-made or plastic upper. Dylan was very patient and customer service focused. I decided to purchase the shoes and he offered to lace and polish them, which I appreciated and accepted. He was very thorough in the sales process: offering shoe trees, socks, etc. Excellent service all the way around.
