Seemingly small details like the finish of the stitching and bigger details like the materials used make a difference! Everyone needs to decide what's best for them, obviously... but I don't mind paying a few extra $$ for better quality. In my opinion, it pays off in the long run. For those of you who, like me, buy 5.11 online... I encourage you to drop by a store sometime! For whatever reason, it took me years to step foot into a store... but I'm glad I finally did. I think many (most?) of us have gotten so used to buying online that we forget what it's like to be able to wander around and feel the material used for each product, try things on, etc. It's time well spent every once in awhile.

Just a little back story for the record, I've been going to this particular store for many years…read moreand I've spent thousands there and I've always spoken highly of the products. I've brought many friends, family and coworkers there as well to give 5.11 business. But let me tell you! I don't know what happened to this store and how they pick their staff now, but they are absolute trash. Ever since the old store manager left this store has hired the worst people and the store always looks like crap. The old manager had this location looking good, fully stocked and her team was on point and very professional. They lost the true face of 5.11 on that one. I recently went to this 5.11 location on Friday March 28th with my family to see if things changed and I was reminded for the final time why I will NEVER return again. The guy in the front said something when we walked in and never said another peep or offered to assist with anything at all the whole time we were there. That's not even what bothered me. What made me absolutely livid was when the female worker blew my father off mid-sentence when he was asking her a question about their sale and said "It just depends" with a snarky attitude and TURNED HER BACK ON HIM AND WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE. I almost lit her up. I'm done with 5.11 once and for all and I know deep down many others are as well. Shame on this company for allowing such people to work there and for allowing such an environment.

There is a lot of everything at this store. The only issue I had was how messy and disorganized…read moreeverything was and it wasn't even 10AM therefore it was probably the mess from the day before. While looking through things you have to really look at the items from every angle because there's a lot of things that are either torn or just sewn awkward. I did find a few great things. They have decent prices. This store is basically a cheaper version of Ross actually owned by Ross. The woman at the register was very friendly and polite. She seemed to enjoy working there. That was nice. I've read some reviews complaining about the fact that you can't walk around with shopping bags from other stores and that they make you feel like a thief. Here's my take on that. If I walked in with bags from other stores and they asked me to leave them at the register I wouldn't have a problem at all. I know I'm not going to steal but judging by that store policy it is obvious that more people than they'd probably like do steal and so it's not personal. It's general. How would they pick and choose who has to leave a bag at the register? Based on appearance? No. So everybody, bags stay at the register.
