I've been here several times - and used to only buy my running shoes here. After I took a break…read morefrom running and now walk daily, I have been buying different shoes but have been wasting my money on "okay" shoes that don't really give me proper support. Finally decided to go back to get a couple nice pairs of walking shoes and was very happy with that decision. Service was great! Got my feet scanned and sized and then the lady helping me asked me a few questions to determine my needs. She advised me on the type of shoe I needed for my arch and angle of my feet. I told her I was hoping to find something on sale and she brought me all of the shoes that fit my need that were also on sale. I ended up taking home two of the pairs I tried on and have been happy with them. Value for me was good - finding them on sale. Honestly, I've likely been spending the same amount (or more...) on lower cost shoes that wear out faster and also hurt my feet. Happy with my decision, and will be coming back when I need to get my next set of walking/running shoes. Recommend.

I actually come more for the running accessories and the run club vibe than anything else... it's always a solid community feel. That said, the shoe selection here felt a little limited. BUT I'll give them this... every location consistently has real runners and hikers working the floor, which makes a difference. They do custom fittings, have a rewards setup, and the stores are always clean and easy to shop. Reliable, just wish there were more shoe options.

He pointed me in the right direction for all the parts I should get for the perfect mixture of quality and cheapness. He was really knowledgeable, too! I'd ask about certain wheels, or what made this bearing better than that, or why I should stick to this set of trucks as opposed to another set. Oh yeah - the skateboard prices are actually quite affordable compared to most other skate shops I've been to in East Bay. Walked out very happy, and with a cool skateboard that I'm incredibly satisfied to be riding in. I guess my only complaint was that the wheel selection wasn't as big as other places I've been to in the East Bay, but that's honestly pretty nitpicky, and I still walked out with a good skateboard. Oh yeah - the place has a really cool layout, too, and the employees play pretty killer music. This place is great if you're a skateboarder/longboarder or anyone looking to get into the sport!

I also loved that some pieces actually have little stories attached, like the hand dyed linen set I grabbed from the owner which made it feel extra special. Prices are super reasonable, from outside bargain racks to more curated finds, and honestly it is the perfect spot if you ever need an outfit for an event or a last minute themed moment. I would 100 percent drive back just for this place.
