This 4 star rating was more like a 3 and a 1/2. I've been here several times with my husband but sat in the car so he could run in to order and get pizza. More recently I saw on Yelp that they have pizza options with gluten free crust, etc. This past Friday, I visited to order the gluten free crust as well as the dairy free mozzarella and some good toppings. This place advertises being quick. I waited at least 20 minutes from my food. In the past when my husband has visited, he was in-and-out. I was in and in. Let me start with the cons and finish with the pros so that we can end on a good note. Cons Must order largest pizza to get gluten free crust. Didn't work for me. I'm 1 person. Wait time was insane. Purchased a gift card, no gift card jackets. Watched an employee come out on the floor and use her gloved hands to adjust her hair w headband fixing hair for several minutes. Pros Options on top of options. Gluten Free Pizza Crust. Dairy Free Mozzarella. Great tasting pizza. Courteous staff. Appealing beverage options. Sadly waiting the extra time made me late for my next commitment which was take my son to work so I'm unsure if I can dedicate more time to this place but I'm wishing them the best since they are in a heavy populated area. read more

Update-- + 1 star ! My last visit here was better than the last time. It wasn't as crowded, which may account for why my pizza was carefully prepared and not sloppy. Servers were friendly and gave their cheerful greeting this time. Hubby and I created our own pizza and they made sure to make them exactly as we asked. I always forget to ask for a little extra sauce, because they skimp on it (and cheese)unless you tell them. It tasted pretty good, I'm not the biggest fan of their crust. But understand it's not a New York slice, so I won't expect a fast cook pizza to taste as such. read more

Advertised as Superfast. Never been here before. Did not know what to expect. When I saw Tyler (our excellent server/pizza maker) place a preformed "pizza disk" on a metal screen, after it was "docked" (with a spiked roller) I was dubious. How could that possibly be any good? Well.... it was great! The sausage had fennel and little spice - no knuckles - 10-10-10! The pepperoni was spot on and not greasy. The crust... while lacking an outside rim, was superb. Cooked in a brick oven (gas) with a very high temperature, even had some leopard-spotting on the bottom. 10-10-10! Tried the roasted red pepper on half the pizza. Never had better. Intense red pepper taste and could taste the roasting. 30 toppings but no pepperoncini or banana peppers? Hmmm.... But it was so good that I did not even miss them. They not only have an incredible staff, but they get the food finished quickly & it's awesome, plus if you want to try something different, you can tell them what to put on your pizza. Thankfully, someone explained to me how this place works. I looked confused when I entered and the counter person was nice to help a sister out. There are many toppings to choose from for my thin crust pizza. I tried to stay healthy and opted for spinach and ricotta. It was done quickly and served hot and crispy. I visited here on 06'06'20, it was my very first time trying them and I am going to need a "do-over". Although I was parked out front, I downloaded the app and used the curbside/car delivery option. It was lunchtime and I just needed something small so I decided on the mini Lucy Sunshine pizza with a Caesar salad. I'm not sure if I just chose the wrong pizza combo but the none of the toppings and add-ons were hot, the entire pizza tasted room temperature and wasn't oozing with cheese like I imagined it would be. The artichokes tasted watery as well as the grilled chicken, it didn't taste like it was grilled at all but more out of a bag taste. The salad was just okay. I want to upgrade this review so I'm going to come back and order inside, pick an entirely different pizza and see if my taste buds are WOW'D. I'm a firm believer that cheese conquers all things so if the add-ones were mediocre and the pizza was in excess it would have overshadowed everything, it was meh, I was hungry and I don't waste my money so I ate it, but will go back for a second chance at getting it right. read more

First time I've been here or to the area. My overall experience was a positive one. The strengths to MOD Pizza I thought were going to be their weakness. You can customize basically any toppings, sauces/dressings, oils to your pizza and/or salad. I ordered a pizza. My order was fairly hefty in toppings and I wasn't sure if the pizza would hold together when I ate. I was very surprised and pleased that the pizza was able to be crispy and sturdy with all that I had put on. Dining was spread throughout the restaurant and had outdoor tables as well. The initial person that I ordered from was very informative and told me the rundown of how MOD Pizza ordering works. The pizza was good, the line and subsequent wait was not so good. **EDIT** : I do wish that they had left the original sizing alone. I enjoyed the "mod" size for when I was dining alone or stopping in with friends or family, and I enjoyed getting the "mega" when I was extra hungry and taking a portion of the "mega" home to my hungry boyfriend. Now, there is no other option if you feel extra hungry OR have someone to take left overs to... you can only purchase another "mod" size. Womp womp. I suppose they changed it to personalized pizzas only, so that you have to buy an entire separate pizza instead of splitting a large one. Womp womp. That doesn't negate the fact that I *LOVE* MOD PIZZA!! As soon as you walk in the door, they great you with a welcoming hello. I've gone at all times of the day, and they usually have a short line that moves quickly. It's the price you pay for delicious food! I tend to switch it up as far as what I've tried, but my heart belongs to the Colexico which is nice & spicy. Their strawberry milkshakes are delicious as well as their strips (get garlic for a side of pizza or else cinnamon strips for dessert.) Great people, great vibes, great food, at a great price. Being a HUGE pizza fan, I really wanted to love this place! Unfortunately I find the ordering process daunting, repetitive and very rushed. The employees seem distracted. Also, disappointing to see toppings being dropped on the pizza from so high that most of it falls on the floor! Not to mention, I was given the wrong pizza on a carryout order. I love MOD pizza. I have always been happy with the outcome of my pizza. Recently I was in. It was a Friday evening and they were busy. Still...this should not have affected the way my pizza was done. I was disappointed this visit. The sauce was almost non existent, the toppings were not spread around the pizza, but more clumpish. While you can customize your pizza any way you want, I decided to just order the Mad Dog, since it was my first visit. This location is very nice. Food hit the spot. Everything was good. I want to give 5 stars, however this young lady with dark hair and lots of tattoos was extremely rude to my daughter when she went to ask a question . I know MOD and they always treat us with respect. Not the other day. She killed my experience when we came the other day. I don't know if ill return based on how disrespectful she puts her self out to be. A manager should be on a look out for that kind of behavior. I do also miss the lemons! But, that's no ones fault! After frequenting the likes of Blaze and Pie Five, I found Mod Pizza rather disappointing. First of all, despite it being only moderately busy, it took 18 minutes to get my pizza. The pizza did not have sufficient sauce or cheese for my taste, though I guess I could have asked for additional had I but known in advance. In addition the crust was a bit burned on the bottom. Hopefully these are growing pains for a new establishment, and I could probably be convinced to give them another try in the future. read more

First time trying Mod's pizza. We had a Jasper, which is red sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, and spicy sausage, plus we added onions. They sell two sizes: mini and Mod. You can also get a double crust, if you like your pizza thick. My wife put it best: it's better than Pizza Hut. I agree. I like the crust, the mushrooms were tasty, and the spicy sausage was delicious. They claim to be fast but they really weren't any faster than other pizza places. We'll probably be back. Barely any toppings on it and the pizza was closer to 1/2 cooked than well done. Was probably my fault for not looking at it before I left as I was rushing out the door. Also, ordered a mini Ceasar salad. A tiny bit of lettuce which was mostly brown around the edges, about 6 croutons and a little bit of shredded cheese. For $ 7.00? Fool me once, shame on me.
