Fabulous pizza and quick too. Lots of toppings to choose from. Glad we found this place.

The daughter and I stopped in on our "daddy-daughter date night" as I'd been curious about this place for a while, and she was asking for pizza. Mod pizza does pizza Subway style, or "on demand" as someone else pointed out. You go through a line and choose your pizza size and toppings. They do have some pre-designed pizzas as well. I'm amazed this place is making any money, or perhaps all the chains have led us to believe toppings are more expensive than they actually are. For about $11 you get an 11" pizza with all the toppings you want! All their pizzas are on thin crust as far as I could tell--which I loved because that allows you to enjoy the yumminess you created rather than filling up on dough. We were both impressed and loved our pizzas! All I would ask is that they serve fries or have little baggies of potato chips available or something because apparently I'm weird and need chips or at least fries with pizza. #WeWillReturn read more

Mad Dog with garlic sauce! MOD is a winner every time. Brought my sister here for her first time, she loved it too. I like to add more sausage and pepperoni and garlic to my pizza. You can add as many toppings as you like. Its very nice that they also serve beer here too. Also try the tea or juice if you're not a beer drinker! read more

This is my favorite pizza. BUT this is the third time I have gotten pizza to go and asked for the balsamic fig sauce only to discover once home that I received balsamic salad dressing, even though I did not order a salad. read more

This place is ok. There is a competitor a few miles up 59 that I think is far better. The taste is ok. They skimp on the toppings even thought their big push is get as many toppings as you want for the same price. My pizza had minimal sauce and when I asked for extra cheese they gave me some...but it wasn't extra by any means. And I understand it's suppose to be a quick turn around but I felt rushed through the line. They weren't busy, maybe 2 people behind me. I think the other downside for me was that they didn't offer fresh mozzarella. This is the one thing I compare to their competitor who does offer fresh mozzarella. This option would definitely make this place a win for me! Pros- it's fast, it's convenient, it's inexpensive, you can build your own, and it's super cute and trendy! These are the reasons I gave it 4 stars. It doesn't taste bad, I just think you can get better with the exact same concept up the road. I would return...but if I was given a choice sadly Mod wouldn't be my first choice. Also, if you don't like loud sound stay away! They practically scream names and orders at the top of their lungs. As a frequent customer of Blaze Pizza, Grimaldi's and sometimes Toppit Pizza, I knew this place had a lot to live up to for me. I am happy to say that it definitely measured up as far as I'm concerned. I would say they are on par with Blaze Pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the choices were plentiful. There is no limit on toppings. The service was great and everyone was friendly. The place was very clean. (although it's a brand new location) Not to mention, the pizza was delicious! The standard mod pizza is 11 inches. Plenty of food for the average person. They have plenty of meats, cheeses and veggies similar to Blaze Pizza. A few things that stand out: 1) They have mini pizzas. Perfect for the kids and keeps the price down. 2) They have salads (salad pizzas) and they looked good. 3) The have really good flavored tea. They have this spiced, slightly sweet, tea that was fantastic. None of this Gold Peak tea garbage that you see at some establishments that are too lazy to make good tea. 4) Their milkshakes are delicious. 5) Plenty of seating. 6) They have dipping sauces that you can ask for on the side or brushed on top. Last time I got the buffalo sauce for dipping the crust. The one topping that I did not see was kalamata olives. That is my only small criticism. But not a big deal really. 1st two times we went it was good, we were treated nicely and not rushed. The pizza was hot and yummy. The 3rd time we went a complete different story...... We were rushed by the guy behind the counter before he could finish the order in front of us. He continuously asked over and over what size pizza and what sauce we wanted. For a moment I was very confused, as he was not finished with the patron before us, and I really had not clue he was speaking to our family. He was quite jumpy and antsy. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but he was so frigidity I started to feel quite uncomfortable. We ordered our pizza and throughout the whole process he rushed us and made us feel like we needed to yell at him to slow down. At one point I just had to stop, take a breath, and make him wait a moment so I could clearly decide what I was ordering exactly. On top of all that, the pizza came out very charred on the bottom. More than usual. It was still edible, but not as good as the times before. All in all, our last experience was not so great. I will still go back, but I am not in a huge hurry. read more

MOD Pizza in Sugar Land (River Park) is a clean, fun and decent place to take the family. The staff at the business is hit or miss with their friendliness toward customers. This business used to give first responders, such as police and fire, a small discount, but that has stopped too. Overall, it is not too bad of a place to try out! read more

Stopped into this location for the first time because I wanted something fast and the kids wanted pizza. I got fast, but I also got a very friendly staff that were patient with my children who were a bit trying when they got to the counter. I was trying to hurry them along but they said it was fine and answered all their questions until they got the exact pizza each of them wanted. The manager came over to check on us and talked to my son about the Astros since he was wearing his championship shirt, was very welcoming and nice as well. They are ok. Pizzas are slightly smaller than competition. The first time was a better experience, but we ordered for playoff games and it was not good. The staff is not friendly. We ordered their margarita pizza (aka Dillon James) and the cheese wasn't melted and we even had small bits of broccoli on it! We ordered 4 pizzas and when we asked for grated cheese / red pepper flakes they gave us two whopping packs. We might try again, but they need to be more consistent. So 3 stars for now. read more

This rating could be better on my next visit. This was my first time in. Pizza was decent, but i was not sure what to order, now i know there "regular" cheese and sauce does not equal other pizza places and I should request more (same with toppings). Next time I will ask for extra everything and see where that gets us. read more

When you can pick your own toppings and watch them build it, you can always get a really yummy pizza here. First couple of times the bottom crust was nice and crunchy, but not this time. I've also noticed that you can never find a clean table, even if they're not busy. It was also gross to see that once we cleaned us a table, they finally figured out that they needed to send someone out to clean some...problem was I watched the young man wipe something off the floor with his rag, then started wiping tables with the same rag. So...bring you some disinfectant wipes to clean your table off before you sit down. Also bring your own silverware. read more

I worked across the street from this place nearly 2 years before I ever went in and since my first visit, I go back once a week. It is a bit noisy inside, so I like to sit on the patio and enjoy my pizza. The service is fast and friendly, but what I love most is how I do not get bloated and sleepy after eating my pizza from here. It is very inexpensive compared to other pizza places too. read more

Love that they have gluten free options and it's so good! However really wish it was more consistent across the board with employees being trained in gluten free measures. It would definitely make me more inclined to eat here! I order a salad with toppings that are safe but the employees don't change gloves in between and don't know what toppings or dressings are safe for celiac both times I've asked. Love this pizza concept! They are super generous with toppings and love the wood fired pizza. Portions are large and price is great! You can mix up all the toppings and sauces to make a different pizza every time. The garlic breadsticks are amazing and very yummy. And I can't get enough of the sri ranch a sauce!!! read more

This message is to express my experience at MOD MOD Pizza -HEB Shopping Center - Sugar Land, TX 19820 Southwest Freeway Sugar Land, TX 77479. I love MOD and I liked this location but I don't know what has changed but it has gone down. The pizza was still good but the pizza over seem as if hadn't been clean in a long time the pizza had a burnt sticky finish, but what really upset me and disgusted me was that the pizza trays in which the pizzas are prepared were on the floor. They guys stepped over them when moving around. There was trash on the floor. The location floors were sticky didn't seem like the place I once feel in love with. Not only that but once the location was closing the guys started playing around. read more

This is a pretty new restaurant close to where I live, and since the first time I went about a month and a half ago, I have been back four times. I have to stick to a gluten-free diet, and it is always exciting to be able to try restaurants that have exclusively gluten-free choices. Not only does the crust have a great flavor, but it is fluffy, soft, and chewy. Normally, gluten-free pizza crust is like a bland cracker. The price is amazing, and they only have a two dollar upcharge for GF crust. There is one set price and you can add as many toppings as you want! Not going to lie, I go to town Keep in mind that there is cross-contamination in the oven and most likely while making the pizza. I do not recommend Mod for those who have celiac's disease, but I have an intolerance and have been perfectly fine every time. The only reason I give Mod four stars instead of five is because there have been two times that they have forgotten the sauce swirl on top. They are delicious by the way. When they say Great Pizza Fast...they are right. Love the idea of suggested pizza recipes but I typically order my own. White sauce is surprisingly very good on the pizza. Service is always upbeat & friendly. Sometimes looks like the local high school football team off season. Breadsticks aren't something to write home about.
