Whoever makes the pizza here is literally the best. Everytime I've been to the Sugarland location my pizza has come out thoughtfully and perfectly proportioned. The toppings are nicely coated throughout the entire pizza, if I ask for extra chicken they give it, sauce on top is perfectly drizzled, even the extra crispiness I asked for is perfect. Just perfection and I love this location. I usually go to the Richmond location and they do good as well, but this location just doesn't it better some how. Please don't change. read more

I visited MOD Pizza in Sugar Land, TX on March 5, 2026 at 1045 a.m.and ordered my favorite the MOD Salad with the Sinful Garlic Cheesy Bread. I have to admit, I'm a little particular about my salads. I like the ingredients evenly distributed so every bite is flavorful. Jophet prepared my salad, and he absolutely nailed it without me even having to say a word! He was professional, attentive, and clearly takes pride in his work. The salad was perfectly prepared and delicious. Great customer service and a great experience overall!!! Thank you, Jophet, for taking pride in your work, and thank you MOD Pizza for continuing to create an environment that reflects your mission of serving people and contributing to a world that works for and includes everyone. read more

Pizza was ok a little look to oily and not cook crispy enough. It was easy to order on line and the price is reasonable. it was easy to find the restaurant and it's cleaned and spacious read more

the pizza was mediocre and the cost ridiculous. 3 employees standing around while your restaurant was filthy, dingy and un-inviting. there were 6 people, including myself, in this place so they were definitely not too busy to be cleaning up the place. this location won't last long. poor management, lazy employees and subpar pizza. nope. read more

MOD Pizza, is a great place to go and create pizza the way you want it. So, here you get a lot for 1 price!! You start by picking your crust and size which decides the price. Then you pick your sauce, then you decide on your proteins then move on to the veggies. Which lets you finish with your choice of cheese. You pay and then they cook it for you. Eat there or get it to go. Either way it's all good and delicious. The service here is great and fast with the ambiance being nice and clean. read more

Came here for the first time and it was a good time. We dined in with 4 small kids, so their round table made it easy for our party of 9. Pizza was good, came out fast, staff was friendly, and the place was clean, good space, and nice decor inside. The only unfortunate event was our mushrooms were not cooked into the pizza but added on top afterwards. Overall, a good experience with the family over some good pizza, when it's all too common to get pizza to-go, so this was refreshing. read more

If you're in a bad mod, this is a good place to lift you're spirits... maybe not all of your spirits, but a pizza them at least. I never liked to build my own pizza because I lived for many years around New York and Chicago and Buffalo and Pittsburgh and Cleveland and Detroit and all these places have miraculous Pizza - not to mention New Haven. Yeah, there's lots of wonderful Pizza in the Northeast and Great Lakes, so it's always disappointing to build your own generic cookie-cutter pizza on basic dough with standard sauce, but as far as these chains go, they're friendly and tasty and I appreciate the meal to some degree. And besides, Sugar Land does not have the sorts of pizza on offer that I'm used to anyway. read more

Sad writing this...but things here have gone way downhill and it's not just a few times. 18 months ago I loved this store! But it's August 2024 and here is my recent experience. First, they eliminated the curbside pickup option. It was so cool to drive home from work and get the pizza at the car. Yes, it's only 20 feet car door to store door, but after a day at work it was a nice touch. Gone. Next, we found that they consistently ignored our "special request" order notes. Request for "crispy crust" was not translated into a crispy crust 9 out of 10 times. Request for "extra pepperoni, upcharge $ ok" was ignored. In fact tonight's delivery (we had it delivered tonight) had less pepperoni than usual. Someone in the store having a bad day and taking it out on a customer? Finally....until recently their deliveries were ahead of the requested time, and hot! Tonight...the pizza was cold and the soda was warm and the delivery was late. Your mileage may vary, this review is my sad requiem for a former fave. I deleted the app from my phone and the quest for lovely pizza will continue. Elsewhere. read more

Never heard of this place until we picked some up at the Sugar Land location. It was so good and fast and inexpensive. The pizza was Delicious and we really appreciated the gf option as well as the plant-based cheese and plant based crumble. Employees were super friendly and what I loved best was the all-.inclusive option. Please open one of these in Vancouver,'you will put everyone else out of business. I was super disappointed! Super MAD! It should called MAD PIZZA! I ordered from the App and it says pick at 8:20PM, I got in around 8:25PM. I went to pick-up area, you know what, all the employees were taking each others, "having fun", so I asked I ordered online here to pick up, and one of employee found my receipt UNDER the box! Yes, my pizza haven't make yet, I waited EXTRA 20 mins and went home open the box and saw my pizza is super small, like kid's size pizza.... and I paid $9.28 for this?? And this is not the first time I have be like this experience. MAD PIZZA! read more

Love the folks the work at this location, everyone especially the pizza guy is very friendly

I just love the one price pizza. I love teying new combos and sauces. Price is good and pizza is always great. Smores are good too.

A complete waste of money. Our pizza was cold, mis-shapen and lopsided. My 11 inch pepperoni pizza tasted like it might have been mediocre if it had been hot, but as it was cold it was pretty bad. They have a call center, Lord knows where, taking phone orders. We called because we thought we were talking to the restaurant directly. We had questions and special requests and thought it would be best to call. It was not. After I gave the order for my first item, the order-taker had me wait as he said he had to work out some abbreviations to get the order to the restaurant. This should have been my first clue to hang up and go somewhere else. After I gave my full order, the order-taker read it back to me. It sounded correct. But somehow it did not get to the restaurant that way. When I went to pick up our pizza, it was sitting on a wire rack with our salad sitting on top of it. Yep, what should be cold salad sitting on top of what should be hot pizza. Both were lukewarm. There was no attempt at all to keep the pizza hot. It was just sitting there getting cold, with a cold salad helping to get it there. We ordered on pizza with pineapple and Canadian bacon, and jalapenos on the side. MOD put the jalapenos on the pizza instead. We asked for extra sauce on the pizza. The employees claimed that was not on the order the restaurant received. They also seemed clueless. Quality control is clearly not a concern here. We will never order from MOD pizza again. read more

Messed up my pizzas. Gave me a medium instead of a large on one and forgot my second entirely, so I had to get back in line and reorder. Pizza toppings guys inexperienced, put way too much of several toppings, making them the worst pizzas I've had from Mod. Beyond bad customer service. Just kind of shrugged when I complained about my pizzas. When I asked for a to go box they just pointed at the boxes and said "they're over there", but when I went to get them myself after they didn't move to get them, this redheaded employee yelled at me to not touch them. When I told her that I was told to get them and nobody was helping me, she only got more upset and started blaming me for being a hassle. And yeah, again they messed up my order and they forgot my pizza entirely. They acted like having to make the pizza I paid for was an ordeal. After I tried to leave she actually came out from the counter and outside to yell at me that she was going to report me to HR. I dunno what's going on at this location but everything was pretty awful. read more

This is a build your own pizza just like Blaze pizza. It's set up like Chipotle or Subway, pick your fresh ingredients unlimited toppings and they'll bake it while you pay at the counter. And pick a finishing glaze to squirt on after they bake it. I didn't. They also have preset pizzas so you don't have to choose your own ingredients. $7.50 per pizza. Actually they have a cheaper smaller size too. I added various cheeses including Asiago, pineapples, basil, herbs, pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, jalapeños.... Yummy! Thin crispy crust. Avoid adding salt bc it's salty already. Service was good. Lots of tables to dine in. Located off of 59/grand parkway in Heb lot. Located close to Starbucks, Tmobile, menchies... read more

Pizza parlor Subway style!! You pick your toppings like subway and one price for as many toppings as you want!!!

Love that Mod pizza offers healthier versions of a pizza! You can get cauliflower crust and even dairy free cheese. Helps me stay on track when I have goals, but still crave something "bad". It's nice to also be able to put fresh basil and oregano on your pizza! The red sauce has a little bit of a kick and tastes soo good! Service is always fast here and pizza order is never wrong. Thanks Mod pizza for allowing everyone something with your choices! read more

Yummy. Served it to our movers and we had a great lunch. Haven't had a better crust since I was in Rome.

I will not patronize this location ever again. I ordered a MOD size salad and I noticed the worker dropping my spinach in what appeared to be a measuring cup for liquids, mind you, she is not even pushing the greens down at all! She then proceeded to dump the spinach into the container which equated to maybe 12 pieces of baby spinach and a table spoon of Romaine, WTH! I asked could I get a little more Romaine and was told the amount they put into the cup was all I could get...I told her I don't want it and politely walked out. The owner of this location needs to be slapped for being so greedy! So you want me to pay $13 for a handful of greens, you have lost your mind! I will continue visiting the Bellaire location where I am able to get my money's worth. That's what's wrong with this world now too much greed! Pay more get less...kiss my gluteus maximus MOD in Sugar Land! read more

I stopped in for a couple of pizzas to go. The service was fast and the pizza tasted great! I got a mini cheese pizza for my daughter. And an 11 inch for myself. Horrible service and unsanitary handling of food at 99/59 location in sugar land! Just left here and will never return to this location. The children running this location are too busy popping each other with towels to be bothered with customers. When you do demand service they argue with you about wearing gloves. There are three people there right now handling food and not one of them is wear gloves or washing their hands between making food and ringing people up. My five year old asked if they'd heard of COVID! We love the location in town center and we're excited about dinner but the employees have terrible attitude and no work ethic at the 99/59 location. We were so disappointed with this dinner trip. The pizza crusts were precooked and bitter. They kept putting pizzas that were made after ours ahead in the rack. When we finally reminded them the second time they still hadn't put our pizzas in they didn't even leave them in there long enough to melt the cheese. Rotten attitudes and rotten pizza! Drive a little further and just go to the town center location. read more

This is Subway for pizza!!! You simply pay for the size you want, and you can put whatever toppings you want.. & the price stays the same! The service: 5 stars As I walked in, I was a bit confused. The employee immediately explained to me the process with a huge smile on her face. Wait time: 5 stars I got my drink, sat down, and 2 minutes later, my pizza was ready! I was astonished. Price: 5 stars I got a mini pizza for $5! I put many toppings on it, so it was definitely worth it. The normal pizza size is only $2 more, and you can possibly share it with a friend. The pizza was so good, I wish I would have gotten the medium for just myself! Taste: 5 stars The ingredients were so fresh! You could definitely taste the quality with every bite. I will be coming back again! read more

5 star pizza, 1 star service. Every time we come here, we experience poor service. This time my wife just wanted some fresh rosemary on her pizza, as she always does here and they said they didn't have any. That is why we come. They eventually brought some from the back, but didn't have time to give it to us. We like the product, and will be back. Just don't expect us to keep tipping. Held my Meetup group here last night but have to express my disappointment in the drink selections. In the past this location has carried bottled beer as well as at least one beer on tap. Last night they had neither. All that was on offer was White Claw and "House Wine" in cans. Blech. I made do with the House Wines but I am not a wine drinker and frankly they were kind of disgusting. Enjoyed my pizza and good company which were excellent as always, but the lack of a single beer option soured my mood worse than the chardonnay I managed gag down. I will try other Mod locations in Sugar Land to see if they have better beer choices for my group. This is completely unsatisfactory at present. read more

Last night our family decided to make our second visit to MOD pizza since they opened about a month and a half ago. My wife's first visit she liked it a lot! For a Friday night the place was hopping! The line was practically out the door! But moving fast. Their crew was very efficient and worked well together and the pizzas we ordered were so good! The first time I visited I was a neophyte and didn't realize that for one price you had your choice of unlimited ingredients. This time around I loaded it up and the MOD team was very generous with the ingredients! The pizzas turned out so good! While there we had an opportunity to meet with Tim one of the managers of the store and he enlightened us about the MOD concept and how the stores originated which was very fascinating! The stores originated in Seattle in 2008 and have caught on and taken off in many cities and I can see why! The employees here seemed together and happy and their attitudes were good! The place was bright and cheery and full of families enjoying a Friday night! A great addition to our community, our family was very impressed! read more
