The key to eating here is a fresh pizza right out of the oven. I love watching them put together my pizza with toppings right at the counter. They have a handful of pre-determined signature pizzas, but you are free to customize it the way you would like. They also offer thin crust and cauliflower crust, for extra. Inside is clean and well-maintained. I thought our service was attentive and friendly today, despite what other may have experienced in other Yelp reviews. Typically we are greeted by all Staff, but coming to QC today there was only One smiling employee. The others seemed busy with other things. The store seemed very dirty and the food bins didn't look great. The mushrooms looked like they had been prepped days ago. AVOID THIS LOCATION. MOD is great. This one sucks! Out of all the MOD's I have been to, this one is the worst. It looks like the rest but the service and quality of food are sub par. They are slow, mess up orders almost every time, and act like they will going to go out of business if you ask for extra toppings. Pregnant and craving a pizza and salad, my family and I decided to go to this location for MOD Pizza tonight. I ordered a Caesar salad to go and two additional pizzas. We drove home and I was digging into my Caesar salad. I haven't been eating much due to food aversions during pregnancy so I was super excited to eat something that I craved for. Half way through the salad, I noticed a black speck. I don't put pepper on my salad so thought the speck was unusual. On further inspection, it was a DEAD FLY IN MY SALAD. Absolutely disgusting. My stomach turned immediately. I put in a pickup order online and noticed that I messed up on one of the items. I called twice just for them to ignore my call, then by the third time the lady instantly gave me attitude and told me to call back in 30 minutes..which was past my pickup time. I politely said "no I messed up on my order and just wanted to tell you" for her to interrupt up say to call back in 15 minutes. I again said no and explained, she sighed and helped in less than a minute then hung up while I was saying Thank you. I have not been to MOD Pizza in about a year and a half. We were close to one for lunch today so I was so excited to go again. First of all it was dead that should have been my first clue. It used to be packed. It did not taste the same. The sauce or the ranch. The ranch used to be so good but is now that bottled jiggly stuff. The young girl making the pizza was so stingy with toppings. You could see more sauce than anything else. Literally she put two onion slices on. Crust was still good. Staff were not helpful and just didn't seem to care. They were all very young probably no one over 20. Parm and peppers were not available to grab yourself anymore and I couldn't get the staffs attention to ask so I gave up. Only one beer on tap and not a good one for $18 a pitcher. MOD is a great newer pizza chain and I always enjoy their dining experience. This one was also great. Manager Emily did an awesome job(she even told me she once worked at their NOHO LA property which was my 1st time at a MOD). I had a "Meatlovers" which was the best of that kind I've had at a MOD. I also liked I could add more yummy fixins' such as corn, garlic cloves, jalapenos, sliced tomatoes etc. I also had both types of dessert cakes_choc & key lime-both very tasty. Very poor customer service for mediocre food. My family and I went for lunch after a funeral viewing and we got looks when we walked in. There were 10 of us and the place was empty and it probably took 20 min to get everyone's orders. We all felt weird like we were an inconvenience to the staff. One worker in particular has major attitude and made the whole experience uneasy. I'd rather go back to the funeral home. read more

We tried to have dinner there last night. We entered this establishment around 6:30 pm and from the time we got in line until the pizzas were done, it took over 45 minutes. That wasn't the biggest problem though. The employees who were making the pizzas would cough then wipe their hands on their pants then continue to assemble the pizzas without changing gloves or washing their hands. Then, the person cooking the pizzas (apparently the shift manager possessed) had a really go to hell attitude and was burning the majority of the pizzas. When mine finally came out of the oven, it was burnt and I refused to accept it! she threw it in the garbage and returned to her duties of burning the remaining pizzas and ignored my request for a refund. We've all had bad days, but shouldn't take them to work with us. She should do the establishment a favor and find another job where she can be happy. Because of my experience (and multiple others) I will never return to the Queen Creek Mod Pizza! read more

My daughter loves MOD Pizza so I thought I would give it a try. Pizzas are made to order with as many toppings as you want then put in a open stone oven and baked. Truly delicious! Ingredients are fresh and you get to watch exactly how your pizza is made. The only reason for four stars is some of the staff seem preoccupied while others were very friendly and attentive. I loved everything about this place, the atmosphere, the means of creating your own pizza with many options, and the fast pace in delivery. My only complaint is the vegan cheese option is not the best- there are many on the market that are way better and I wish those were used instead. They just completely have no idea what's going on? I ordered online, called in the window it said it should be ready, they said they hadn't even started it. We waited in the car rather than inside because we had our dogs in the car. Then, calling 15 mins later, they said "someone else took the pizza because there were 2 orders with the same first name" - this didn't upset us since that wouldn't be their fault. However, it wasn't true. My partner went in when they said they were remaking it. After about 15 more minutes, she was ignored until someone finally came up and said "oh it wasn't taken and it's just been sitting there". So we ended up spending 45 minutes for this to end up with room temperature pizza that the cheese glued itself to the top of the pizza box. Ultimately, they didn't even actually check for our order, didn't communicate, and refused to actually remake the pizza since it "was there" even though it was them who told us it wasn't. Total waste of our time, plus having them be rude to us for...believing what they told us originally? And all for room-temp product. Oh, and the dough isn't even cooked all the way through.
