Surprisingly very good pizza. They make it right in front of you adding whatever toppings you want. The better your additions the tastier your pizza. I went with a buddy. He ordered first. When he saw me put my pie together he realized how he screwed up. My pie was great. This place is for you if you know what to add. read more

Junior prepared the perfect pizzas. He really pit attention in the details, spreading the sauce uniformly, the right and even ammount of cheese. Somebody at Mod needs to take note as many others are not like him. We will come back. read more

MOD Pizza - Customized pizza - Fast Food Near Me - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Service was lacking the last 2 times we have been. Tonight, pizza was not cooked, so they cooked it again and when they took it out of the oven a slice fell off. They remade it without me watching and left off the extras I asked for in the original. Had to wait on pizza and nothing was offered. read more

Service and staff are AMAZING....It was terribly hot for May! Need A/C!! Geez...poor staff, it's the beginning of season!!

Pizza is really good. Service was okay. The main reason for 3 stars is because of all of the cross contamination. They use gloves and use their hands to grab everything which means those gloves touch everything. If you have any kind of allergies or dietary restrictions it can be an issue. The same gloves that touch the meat touch the vegan cheese and all the veggies. They don't use any kind of serving spoons. read more

Great service. I'm vegan and came in skeptical. To my surprise and delight, they pulled all fresh buckets of veggies from below the counter and made my pizza in a cleaned area. James was so patient with me and so friendly. My friend ordered the Jasper and said it was pretty good. The sauce is eh and there was no beer as advertised so that's why we gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Definitely will be back. read more

Totally bizarre. We ordered two small pizzas and got snack size children's pizza. They also don't have broccoli. Odd. Have never seen a pizza this small. We are all starving still.if you serve tiny pizzas then you should make people aware and clarify when orders are made. I don't work there. You do. read more

We had a lazy night during our vacation due to our kids just being exhausted so we decided to order pizza. We wanted something that was local and decided on MOD. The pizza was phenomenal! Our kids couldn't get enough of it. Their breadsticks were just as good. Our only complaint would be we didn't pay attention to the pizza sizes when ordering Lol We ordered a Mad Dog and a Maddy, both were great. Would highly recommend them and we plan on ordering again when we're in town. Disclaimer* we used DoorDash for delivery from the restaurant read more

The pizza tastes like cardboard. It's just awful. I have never had pizza this bad ever.

Pizza was delicious! The sizes were clearly written on their menu which really helped me with my decision. They had every topping that I wanted and was very clean. The staff was so kind and made sure that I needed everything! read more

My first time here with my twins and son. Since I'm not from around here we normally order out and have been so disappointed in the pizza, until NOW!!! . Me and my girlfriend ate it here and it was amazing!!! We've worked together for a year in a pizza place and we hate pizza because we have it to much. But it was so good and definitely going back again. 10/10 read more

Only two stars for the experience/service. Employees standing around while lobby was dirty and no pizza dough was pressed. Employees obviously not interested in their jobs, cleaning, prepping, or serving customers. Stood almost 10 minutes waiting for my order to be taken after the other person in my party already had theirs completed and in the oven. Employee walked away after making the first pizza and started pressing out dough. Never said anything and surely did not take the rest of our order. Later another employee emptying trash was wearing a box over his head with limited visibility even walking in the parking lot. All weee very lethargic and standing around on their cell phones. Another young man came in and had his order taken. He then was walking around behind the counter. He was wearing sandals which is not usually ok in a food prep area. Is this the Mod way? I've had much better service from a different Mod. This one feels like management doesn't care or isn't paying attention. Won't be back here. Food was the normal fairly good. read more

This is one of our family's favorites when we visit! There are plenty of options for everyone and it is very filling! This is the only pizza restaurant I crave. read more

Pizza was undercooked, trash was piled up, tables weren't clean, soda fountains were empty. Disaster.

Braid guy didn't seem too thrilled that we walked in the door. In fact I think we were an interruption. Him and Big guy talked and laughed while making our food. Big guy was on his phone more than working. He got himself a drink at the fountain then sat down to surf his phone some more. Food was fine except for the thought of their DNA on it from them laughing and talking over it while making it. Honestly don't know why I eat out anymore. read more

Normally love Mod Pizza in another city and really don't like giving bad reviews, but at this location, on 8/31 (in afternoon), they only gave my husband options to check out and only suggested the buttons to push which would be to leave a tip. After waiting in line and not being even greeted for 7-8 mins, he replied that he did not want to tip (very politely) . Not sure if it's coincidence but pizzas then came out burned. No time to get redone now. Hate to leave a bad review but hope manager knows to address. Pizza flavor for small part that wasn't burned was fine, but experience was disappointing. read more

I really want to make this a five star review but can't because of the prices. The pizza is GREAT but the large is pretty small and expensive. To compare it to Hungry Howies or Pizza Hut, a Large at MOD is a bit smaller than a medium at other pizza places. However, the pizza is honestly still the best around. If you're looking for a great pizza and don't care to spend the extra money, this is a great pick! read more

I ordered MOD Pizza online tonight and was really impressed with what we got! We ordered the Dillon James and added pepperoni. The total for the 11 in pizza was only $10.30, and that includes the tip I left. When I arrive, I was greeted by the friendly staff. The pizza was cooking so it was hot and fresh when it came out about a minute later. I tried the berry lemonade and it was fantastic! If you're looking for a quick, delicious, and inexpensive dinner or lunch option, I highly recommend MOD. read more

This is the best pizza I have ever had! And this is coming from someone who worked in one of the best pizza places from where I'm from!

We went here two nights in a row after vacationing in North Myrtle Beach for a week. It's THAT good. I'm not even a big fan of thin crust pizza, but I love theirs! The 11" for $7.95 is big enough to feed even the hungriest appetite. You can't beat their prices. At Dominos, it would be $14+ to get everything you wanted on a pizza! I highly recommend the Caspian, Tristan, Calexico, and their seasonal special - the Ella. All of these are great and the flavors go together really well. If you don't want to try their special pizzas, you can make your own. They have soooo many choices to choose from. I also recommend the Blackberry Lemonade. It was the perfect combination of sweet and sour and pair perfectly with my pizza. Overall, great service, great food, AMAZING prices. read more

Truly great place and fun for kids. You can't beat the prices - no matter what size, you can get as many toppings as you want for the same price. I'm also a lemonade aficionado so the fact they have 2 flavors - great also. We made 3 pizzas of our own and they were all great. I made mine veggied-up with grilled chicken and bacon and at the VERY end, I chose the wrong cheese. Gorgonzola cheese is just the worst. The woman was ok with starting it over from scratch though I felt terrible. At the end, the cinnamon strips with cinnamon glaze was awesome. Good experience overall. read more

First of all the Pizza was GREAT! My husband and I both created our own. The topping were plentiful and it was quick and tasted great. The reason for only three stars was the the way the employees conducted themselves. While it was mid afternoon and not super busy the employees were all sitting in the back of the restaurant eating food from other establishments. There was no one behind the counter until one of the employees carried here baby back there. It was totally unprofessional and I am sure violates some kind of health/safety code. We would give it another try simply because the food was good but the management need to step up and enforce employee guidelines that I am sure are in place. read more

I ordered the child size pizza which I guess is a small. Very tasty! They are super quick, so if you're in a hurry this is a great place. Don't normally like dominoes, Papa John's etc. this was fresh and very tasty and made to order. With a small tip ....about $8 bucks! The staff on the front line making pizza could have been a little more cheerful, they could have been new though so I will take it easy on them. The lady that cashed me out and gave me my pizza was super friendly! read more

The food was good but the service was bad, they took there time making the pizza then set it on the counter and made 3 other peoples orders before putting in the oven . Then he charged us for 2 pizzas instead pf the pizza and cheese bread , it's got to the point where it's cheaper to go to Pizza Hut than to eat at Mods read more

The service was terrible. Ordered pizza first and it stayed off to side while other orders were taken. When paying the person had taken so many other orders we were overcharged for 2 pizzas when we ordered only 1 read more

We had lunch here. I was skeptical at first if it would be good or not. I was very pleasantly surprised. The employees greet you when you arrive and address you when you leave. And they are very helpful and friendly. You can choose their different recipes of pizzas or design your own. We ordered a medium pizza for two. One price and all the add ons are free, and they have a lot of them. We also purchased a small salad, and same as pizza, all add ons was free, and they had all kinds of them including meats, vegs, and cheeses. We'll definitely be a regular MOD pizza customer. read more

What a great concept ! This was my first visit. The general manager of the store made my wife and I's pizzas. This is where the one star rating comes in. First I asked her for heavy sauce she put one ladle just like she would on any other Pizza. I asked if I could have some more . Now it was time for cheese I asked for heavy cheese she took a measured scoop and put a scoop of cheese on my pizza. I asked for more cheese. She reached in and got one pinch between her thumb and forefinger and sprinkled on it and then set it down in front of the meat station. I said "could I have more cheese ?" she said she'll put it on after, on the top. Next was a vegetables. I asked for onion and jalapenos. She turned handed it to a man who stuck it in the oven. This pizza was not dressed the way I wanted it !!! She acted like every topping came out of her paycheck ! This was my first trip to Mod Pizza. This is my last trip to Mod Pizza ! read more

Added Meat Pieces to Vegetarian Pizza..! No Apologies Did not offer to Refund money until I went back to the register and told them to refund. I did not see any meat when they were adding veggies but so weird that the guy doing my pizza was asking the one next to him who had handled meat to grab olives and put it on my pizza..! Aren't these employees trained not to touch veggies with their meaty gloves for vegetarians..?? Absolute disgusting..! read more

My wife and I went to this location and picked up the pizza. For the price you pay for a thin pizza, it should be larger.

This place was AWESOME when it first opened. The food was great and the employees were wonderful. Now, it's May, 2017 and the quality of service really sucks. The employees act like they could care less that you're there. They sit on their phones behind the counter instead of worrying about the customer. The gal that took my pizza out of the oven flipped it over right in front of me. It went everywhere. No apologies, nothing. This might be my last time here. Stay away!!! read more

Love mods pizza and would give a better review but the staff was completely unpleasant. They did not greet and honestly didn't say one word. Pizza was delicious though. read more

Theyre good about covid and social distancing everyone is nice except the people who make your pizza, I sat in line for about 10 minutes and the workers looked at me and did nothing, acted like I wasn't even there. My mom and I got stuck in traffic on the way to try this place, got there 10 minutes before they closed and we were not turned away after asking if it was okay to eat there still. Everyone was very sweet and had smiles on their faces here. The pizza was excellent and I think that this "DIY pizza" concept is super trendy/convenient. The atmosphere was very clean and had cute lights strung up around the dining area. Overall 10/10 experience and will definitely be back! read more
