Pizza is really good. Service was okay. The main reason for 3 stars is because of all of the cross contamination. They use gloves and use their hands to grab everything which means those gloves touch everything. If you have any kind of allergies or dietary restrictions it can be an issue. The same gloves that touch the meat touch the vegan cheese and all the veggies. They don't use any kind of serving spoons. read more

Great service. I'm vegan and came in skeptical. To my surprise and delight, they pulled all fresh buckets of veggies from below the counter and made my pizza in a cleaned area. James was so patient with me and so friendly. My friend ordered the Jasper and said it was pretty good. Only two stars for the experience/service. Employees standing around while lobby was dirty and no pizza dough was pressed. Employees obviously not interested in their jobs, cleaning, prepping, or serving customers. Stood almost 10 minutes waiting for my order to be taken after the other person in my party already had theirs completed and in the oven. Employee walked away after making the first pizza and started pressing out dough. Never said anything and surely did not take the rest of our order. Later another employee emptying trash was wearing a box over his head with limited visibility even walking in the parking lot. All weee very lethargic and standing around on their cell phones. Another young man came in and had his order taken. He then was walking around behind the counter. He was wearing sandals which is not usually ok in a food prep area. Is this the Mod way? Braid guy didn't seem too thrilled that we walked in the door. In fact I think we were an interruption. Him and Big guy talked and laughed while making our food. Normally love Mod Pizza in another city and really don't like giving bad reviews, but at this location, on 8/31 (in afternoon), they only gave my husband options to check out and only suggested the buttons to push which would be to leave a tip. After waiting in line and not being even greeted for 7-8 mins, he replied that he did not want to tip (very politely) . Not sure if it's coincidence but pizzas then came out burned. The total for the 11 in pizza was only $10.30, and that includes the tip I left. When I arrive, I was greeted by the friendly staff. The 11" for $7.95 is big enough to feed even the hungriest appetite. You can't beat their prices. At Dominos, it would be $14+ to get everything you wanted on a pizza! I highly recommend the Caspian, Tristan, Calexico, and their seasonal special - the Ella. All of these are great and the flavors go together really well. If you don't want to try their special pizzas, you can make your own. They have soooo many choices to choose from. I also recommend the Blackberry Lemonade. Truly great place and fun for kids. You can't beat the prices - no matter what size, you can get as many toppings as you want for the same price. I'm also a lemonade aficionado so the fact they have 2 flavors - great also. We made 3 pizzas of our own and they were all great. I made mine veggied-up with grilled chicken and bacon and at the VERY end, I chose the wrong cheese. Gorgonzola cheese is just the worst. Don't normally like dominoes, Papa John's etc. this was fresh and very tasty and made to order. With a small tip ....about $8 bucks! First of all the Pizza was GREAT! My husband and I both created our own. The topping were plentiful and it was quick and tasted great. The reason for only three stars was the the way the employees conducted themselves. While it was mid afternoon and not super busy the employees were all sitting in the back of the restaurant eating food from other establishments. There was no one behind the counter until one of the employees carried here baby back there. It was totally unprofessional and I am sure violates some kind of health/safety code. We had lunch here. I was skeptical at first if it would be good or not. I was very pleasantly surprised. The employees greet you when you arrive and address you when you leave. And they are very helpful and friendly. You can choose their different recipes of pizzas or design your own. We ordered a medium pizza for two. One price and all the add ons are free, and they have a lot of them. We also purchased a small salad, and same as pizza, all add ons was free, and they had all kinds of them including meats, vegs, and cheeses. What a great concept ! This was my first visit. The general manager of the store made my wife and I's pizzas. This is where the one star rating comes in. First I asked her for heavy sauce she put one ladle just like she would on any other Pizza. I asked if I could have some more . Now it was time for cheese I asked for heavy cheese she took a measured scoop and put a scoop of cheese on my pizza. I asked for more cheese. She reached in and got one pinch between her thumb and forefinger and sprinkled on it and then set it down in front of the meat station. I said "could I have more cheese ?" she said she'll put it on after, on the top. Next was a vegetables. I asked for onion and jalapenos. She turned handed it to a man who stuck it in the oven.
