Ricotta cheese wasn't cooking... nothing was cooked fully but the pizza crust smh

Something has really changed about the services here, and I believe the quality of the food has also declined. I'm not sure if it's because teenagers operate the eatery after hours. I was very thrilled with this location over a year ago and waited to return; it was a shame because I wanted to adore it so much! I understand the staff was fatigued, but my pizza was certainly not fully cooked. Normally, I check it. I should have been concerned when they placed my pizza in for 5/7 minutes and then took it out! There are no strategies for preparing these pizzas or why they felt they were done. The crust was scorched, but I was eating the pizza when it was still cool, and I was leaving the restaurant right away. The ricotta cheese was clearly not fully cooked. I'm simply overall unhappy because I've previously had amazing pizza here; I'm not sure what's happened with management. The feelings and ambiance were obviously weird, which is another reason I simply wanted to take my pizza and leave! If you're gonna go here try the morning shift idk lol..

We've been here twice so far, and the first once over the Summer wasn't anything notable besides good pizza! We went in yesterday around 11 A.M., 30 minutes after they opened and there were maybe two regular sized groups already sitting down eating. There was about 7-10 employees in the front but none greeted us, just stared until I started ordering. Which is fine, I'm not a talker either. But, when we went to go get our drinks the whole drink station was so gross. I typically get the blackberry lemonade but it looked old- and like it hadn't been circulating through- which I ultimately didn't get it since it was already almost empty. Then I went to get sweet tea, and that was empty as well. As well as multiple crumbs, unwiped counter etc. while the staff was just playing on their phones in idle time. I'm young as well, so I get checking your phone- but within 45 minutes of being there I'd say someone should've manned the drink / utensil station. Food was great though! lol

Mod Pizza. I love coming here when I'm craving some pizza. I love the fact that that you can create your own pizza, but they do have specialty pizza you can select from . They do have gluten free crust and cauliflower crust as well. It's causal restaurant where you can dine in or order take out. Very kids friendly.

The worst pizza I've ever had! I believe the woman who assisted me was named Lauren. My pizza came out raw and it looked like it was cut it up with a spoon, the worst cutting job on a pizza I have ever seen! A disaster. I love mod and I'm a dedicated long term customer, but she seriously needs to never work in pizza again.

I decided to give Mod another try since its the only create your own pizza place close to where I live. This time knowing what I now know about the artichoke being from a container I decided to create a pizza with other ingredients than before. We walked in and the entire staff greeted the customers as they filed in which was a nice friendly touch. You get to choose from 3 pizzas sizes a mini for $587 which is great for kids. I ordered the MOD 11" for $787 and there is a thick crust option for $987. I kept my pizza simple this time, but I did add basil since I knew where it was right before the crust, cheese and sauce which still makes no sense. My pizza was delicious this time around and everyone who dined with me also enjoyed their's. I'm so glad I decided to give Mod another try. If you like pizza and like to be creative and have it your way, you definitely need to check Mod out.

You line up to place your order. Everything is made to order. A little wait and voila, great pizza and salad. As many toppings as you wish. The salads are also excellent . Will return for sure. read more

This was a good place for a lunch stop. The fresh salad and zesty dressing made the house and Cesar salad the highlite of the meal. The thin crust pizza oven cooked pizza was good. Having the ability to get as much or as little pizza as possible, made for a good stop for lunch. Price was a little high for what you get, but the quality ingredients did shine through. read more

***Beware, this restaurant closes early..." I have never been to this location until I decided to go there tonight. I took chance with google and ran across town to get there before closing time. Occasionally google is off about closing times but that is usually with fly by night small establishments. I was pleased that 10:00pm was also printed on the door as I walked up, UNTIL three employees watched me fail at my attempts to open two locked doors at 9:56pm. It looked so pretty inside and the customers seemed happy enjoying their pizzas. I don't care much for mainstream restaurants or food chains but I wanted to try it. The one thing I hate most is false advertisement (and people who don't respect my time, and liars are let downs too) We all want to go home at closing time, and if closing time is 9:56pm, that should be posted, not 10:00pm. read more

This pizza was sooo good!!!!! Stone oven 11" pizza fed both of us for $12 with two small lemonades. Pizza had Canadian bacon, roasted red peppers, green peppers, olives, bacon , spinach, pineapple, spicy Italian sausage, basil, mozzarella cheese, oregano, and half onion (cause I don't care for them ) It was yum and it looked good!!! read more

The best pizza and awesome customer service. This place is ALWAYS packed but for some reason the line moves quickly. If you're expecting to get a seat be prepared to sit outside (lots of bugs though) because people tend to get really comfortable. I've never had an issue with my food here and I'm generally in / out after I order. read more

This place is like Moe's with pizza instead of Mexican food. You come in, they yell at you, then you get a pretty ballin' piece of thin crust pizza. I like the atmosphere, and they had this blackberry lemonade that I wish I could have more often. It's a good price for what you get. I can't remember the name of the pizza I got, but it's one of the only ones with white sauce. You can make your own and add as many toppings as you want, and the price doesn't go up. This pizza bar is really cool! You get to pick your own toppings and as much as you'd like for a flat rate. No additional charges for extra toppings. This was my first time visiting a MOD, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. It kind of put me in the mind of Your Pie, but a little more pricey (well, they didn't have the add-ons and ability to make a combo like Your Pie does). I'm more of a pan/deep dish pizza girl, but I will say, the taste of the pizza/ingredients was yummy! One thing I really liked was that you can "Build Your Own" pizza with unlimited toppings for a single price. That's definitely worth the trip if you ask me. read more

Expensive for a 11" pizza. I don't think that they cooked the pizza long enough. When pizza cheese melts it shouldn't fall off the crust usually this is because it is undercooked. I Learned this cooking pizzas in the Navy. It's sort of like a Subway of pizza. You pick the toppings and they cook it. The menu is confusing. Wish there was a option for a 1/2 pizza & 1/2 salad. A 11" plus small salad was $13. I could have gotten that at Little Caesars and made my own salad. read more

My girlfriend and I love food and this is one of our favorite places to go. We have started coming about once a week now and find a new topping to add to our pizza each time. MOD is much better than their competitors. This location has always been clean and gets the pizzas out fast no matter the line. read more

I really enjoyed the concept of this place the menu is on the wall when you walk in and it's like chipotle for pizza you can get the pizza as listed or MOD-ify it for no addl cost its a cool to watch them make your pizza and its cooks super fast . We will def be back read more

The pizza is awesome. I am not always fond of the staff that prepare the pizza because they are not always the friendliest, but today the guy who made my pizza named "Atlas" was super cool. He asked me, "what was the best part of your day yesterday?" Very personable and friendly. Made the store look really good. read more

1st Time to MOD went during the lunch rush~ ordered a small seasonal salad and the Dillon James pizza. Only complaint is I ordered them by name ~ and as you go down the line of employees they kept asking me how I want the salad and pizza : I kept repeating as the menu states please / which all had to keep reading the board. Which in the end left off basil and garlic off the pizza and kale off the salad. In the end the salad and pizza was delicious and would go again. read more

Oh...my...gosh!!! So freaking good! I ordered online at 6:00 and wanted to pick it up by 8:00. In all honesty, I was expecting to have to heat it up after I picked it up placing my order 2 hrs in advance. I walked in at eight to pick it up and I'm greeted by literally every employee looking up and saying hello. Very impressive. I walk up to the counter and give them my name. They tell me my pizza is in the oven... I was so excited! Perfect timing! I was looking forward to my bubbling hot pizza. The smell on the way home was intoxicating. I was literally drooling. I got home, cracked open the box and beheld what can only be described as a thing of pure beauty. A bubbling hot pizza with a thin crust, white sauce, mozzarella, asiago, and Parmesan, onion, mushrooms, roasted garlic, and tomatoes. It is hard to make a thin crust that can both hold up to the toppings and not be a rock hard cracker. This crust was perfect! I would rank it right up there with Antico and I'm not ashamed to say it. Chain or not, good pizza is good pizza, and at less than $8 for an 11" pizza this place gets my vote and my business. I'll definitely be back! read more

We were excited to try MOD pizza since this is the first one I've seen open in GA. The place was brand new, so very clean & cute decor inside. It's kind of like mellow mushroom meets moe's? Anyways, great prices, several size options & unlimited toppings or mods for your pizza at no additional cost were all pluses. The staff & other patrons were friendly. They have local beers on tap, so we ordered a pitcher. They were having an issue with the keg, so we were :/ about that, but then the staff really went out of their way to make it right & even brought us a pitcher of a different beer on the house. Needless to say we left happy. We both had the Tristan pizza (it's our son's name so we had to right?). It came out quick and was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place to others. read more

I love Mod Pizza. Recently discovered but this location clearly does not require their employees to wear hats or hair nets. I was concerned since their hair is literally hanging over the buffet of toppings. All was fine, no issues until our third visit. My boyfriend bit into the pizza and had a wild curly short blonde hair sticking in between his teeth, which matched neither of us but one of the employees at the location that never has hair back. read more

First visit to this pizza place. I had heard great things so came in with high expectations. They were all met. I really enjoyed the thin crust of the pizza. It was just thick enough to support and celebrate the toppings. The overall flavor was great and the fact that you get a individual sized pizza was a nice experience. YUM! Recommended by my coworker and I went on a whim to try it on my lunch break. Service is fast! Definitely can't relate to those saying that their pizza was awful because mine was amazing when I have went. Just think of Chipotle or Moes but with pizza, except they don't charge for any extras toppings like the other guys. One price, for as much toppings as you'd like. The interior is awesome as well, bright and modern. I most certainly recommend. read more

I ordered from this restaurant today for the 2nd time . The pizza was not good at all. Their were tiny little pieces of ground beef with no seasoning on it. The spinach was not cooked in the pizza. The green peppers were cut . This was just all around not good. I had no problems with the 1st one I ordered. This one didn't look advertising at all. By the way it was delivered by DoorDash. I absolutely love this place. It's only a few miles away, and the best pizza you can get for the low price. I love that you can get as many toppings as you want, and they have plenty to choose from. They are super fast and always friendly. Love the atmosphere in the restaurant, too. They play cool music that I like. They have outdoor seating. They are super busy every time I go, but you get through the line fast. My new favorite place to go. read more

Great pizza for customizing! I'm gluten free and I get the salad pizza. It's literally too much to eat for just 1 person. My niece and I shared it and we were full. They're not celiac friendly though as they don't change their gloves from making wheat pizza to my pizza. Lucky I don't have any reaction with cross contamination but people who has celiac may. read more

Food - 5 stars Seating - 1 stars. Don't go here during dinner rush or else you'll have numerous families staring at you as they wait for you to finish and get off the table. I'm sorry but this place needs more seating. A huge design flaw. read more

You get to make your own pizza and it is fantastic. There is an entire bar of toppings and they are all fresh and delicious. The pizza sizes are one price regardless of how many toppings you want to add. They also serve Dry County IPA on draft which made me very happy. They cook the pizzas in a fire oven and the crust is the absolute best. It is the artisan pizza we have been searching for in this area. read more

The strong chemical odor from the mop water was overpowering and made me feel nauseous. I politely asked the employee to pause until I finished my meal; she questioned my request and continued mopping the entire dining area during peak dinner service. I appreciate clean restaurants, but cleaning with harsh chemicals while guests are eating is unsanitary and inconsiderate. I left disappointed and without finishing my food. I hope you'll address staff training and scheduling of cleaning tasks so future guests don't share this experience.

At first glance, I thought it didn't have enough dressing on it so I went to the side where they have condiments and pour myself a little cup of honey mustard to add to my salad. That was a mistake because now my salad was overdressed. If I would've just mixed it up, I would've noticed that they had plenty of dressing on the lettuce underneath. But that's OK. It was still very good. And the rosemary pepper fries were perfect. The right amount of seasoning and flavor. They were very much the star of my lunch. This place is also very reasonable. I believe my lunch was less than $20. The staff was really nice. I asked young lady questions because this was my first time at a super chix. She was actually the one that recommended the rosemary fries. I would definitely recommend this spot for a cute casual lunch if you're out in the Kennesaw area.

My wife had a terrible experience here and was so upset I'm writing this for her. Food is decent but the customer service was TERRIBLE!! She ordered a pizza salad which is where they cook the crust first then the salad toppings are made in a separate bowl. She could not eat raw mushrooms so on previous visits she had those cooked with the crust. In this visit the rude girl taking the order kept saying she cannot do that when she was not even the person making the crust. My wife calmly told her why as she was able to get that ordered before and she started yelling and saying it was not possible and that she did not want to argue with her. Needless to say this rude girl made the bowl anyway with the raw mushroom! My wife told her again she could not eat them raw and to make it over. She rudely complained that she will make it over and was yelling to the horror of other customers in the line. A lady behind my wife told her that she also had a bad experience also with a rude employee and the manager did not seem to care when she reported it. Eventually the order was made correctly after all this nonsense that was not even necessary. She asked for manager after and he only said sorry and that was not 'typical behavior' for that person. Really?! That's all you have to say? Terrible that a nice place can be destroyed if it hires the wrong employees. Caution to whom ever runs this location!!!!!! read more
