Oh, she was good...she was pretty damn good. The salad & pizza was delish as usual. But why wouldn't it be? It had everything on it that I pointed at with gleam in my eye, & nothing I didn't, including that vile sacrificial offering to the fallen angel of darkness, brocolis rostis yuckis (that's Latin btw). My only beef was the overwhelming sense of urgency to get us and our big fat a**es out of there ASAP. I get it. You wanna go home. You wanna skedaddle. The first time we came here it was simply because we were so hungry and it was there. Zero expectations. We ordered a medium veggie pizza with pepperoni and sausage added, and a side salad. I have to say it was so good. The pizza was tasty and not greasy, and the salad was very fresh. Also don't leave without trying their chocolate cake (ding dong replica) so delicious and it wasn't waxy like the original we grew up with. Give it a go you won't be disappointed read more

Pretty good pizza here. It's like blaze and piology where you can build your own pizza to your liking. They had some good variety of toppings to choose from and they have gluten free crust as well. I had mine full of different types of meat and it hit the spot. However I wish they added a little more red sauce and a little bit more cheese on mine but other than that it's a great new place to try out. read more

Let me start by saying that MOD is my favorite pizza place among all the other similar pizza chains. The one star review is for this particular location, not for MOD in general. As I understand, most MOD stores are company owned, while a few are franchised. I do not know if this Corona store belongs to a franchisee or not. Nevertheless, it took me 35 mins to get a pizza and that is not acceptable. And that's what gives them one star. I went to this location for the first time around 8 pm on Wed, June 6th. There was a line of 5 to 7 people ahead of me, which is fine. I go to Chipotle and Subway and Habit Burger, et al... and all of them have a similar line during peak hours. What is not acceptable is (i) how slow the line moves. (ii) There was only 1 crew member in the `toppings' section. She had to make salad bowls and also put numerous veggies and meats for every single customer in line. (iii) how slow this person was working. (iv) There is no urgency in their working, when customers are losing their patience. I could count at least 5 people (or more) working that evening. Why the heck does the manager / shift leader or someone not see the frustration in the line ... and start helping ... to move the line faster? It took me 22 mins to come to the point where I could order the pizza. At the payment counter, I found out it was a $5 Wednesday. Aahaa! Now I know why there's such a line. And if this is every Wednesday, the store management better be prepared to serve faster ... or risk getting such reviews. I sincerely would like this place to succeed and hope that my review will result in improving operations at this location. read more

This was probably my 4th or 5th visit to MOD Pizza and I think it's awesome. I'm so glad this store opened in Corona! It is similar to a Pieology type of place where you can build your own pizza, but in my opinion it's far superior in quality. Every time the pizza has been perfect. I'm a fan of the mad dog pizza (cheese, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef). The crust is thin and crispy, good mix of sauce vs toppings, etc. the salads are also very fresh and made to order at the counter. I have also only had positive experiences with the staff. Let's face it, ever since Pieology pioneered the concept of fast cooked custom pizza, there has been a proliferation of these types of restaurants. MOD Pizza is one of the oldest players, and in my opinion, deserving of our respect and patronage. Firstly, their online ordering system is great! Even though they advertise fast pizza, the average wait time from entering the store until enjoying your first bite is about 20 minutes. MOD Pizza has a great online ordering system that can minimize the wait time. You still get to customize your pizza to your heart's content. Secondly, unlike other similar restaurants, MOD Pizza offers flavorful menu options, such as the Dillon James, for those who don't want to customize their pizza too much. Thirdly, the beverages are great! Not so much the traditional sodas, which are causing an obesity epidemic, but the flavorful iced teas and lemonades, which are delicious on their own or combined with each other for a custom Arnold Palmer. This Corona location is about a year old and staffed by some of the nicest, most pleasant people. It's generally clean and well-maintained. The only negatives I can recall are firstly, the pizza is sometimes too salty for me, and secondly, the wait times can be upwards of 20-30 minutes on busy days (such as when they run a coupon.) Overall, I really enjoy MOD Pizza in Corona and always look forward to eating there. read more

On the upside: The friendly staff greeted you as you walked in the door and explained the menu. They also have a great selection of ingredients to choose from that should satisfy everyone. There is plenty of seating inside and out. They probably have good potential when things settle down from this weeks grand opening. However, it was almost 10 minutes from when my pizza came out of the oven until I got it. This was only after asking why all the folks who ordered after me were getting there pizzas when I didn't have mine. They did apologize saying they had gotten busy. Question: should the same person work with both cash and food? The cashier had struggled to take my money and get me my change one-handed when the other was covered with sauce. They were also out of napkins in the main area and I sat down at a table with somebody's dirty empty plates and no napkin holder and took a bite of my barely warm pizza and decided to grab one of their leftover boxes (not really designed to hold a regular sized pizza) and stuffed my pizza in it and brought it home to heat up. Let me tell you that this place is awesome due to the hard workers and the customer appreciation. I walked in for my lunch, and as i had just finished piecing up my pie all of a sudden, the ovens stop working. Just boom. Done. However, that did not stop this crew, since it had barely shut down they threw my pizza right away since the oven was still hot. My order was a little bit later than usual but i did not mind because i was caught in the middle of a awesome team operation trying to figure out what was going on while, dealing with a handful of customers lined up. I like the pizza but this time I decided to deviate and have a salad with cheesy garlic bread. I ordered a salad with olives, corn, cheese and croutons, with the honey lime dressing. The salad was made nicely and looked good. My issue was with the dressing. Since my order was to go, I asked for the dressing on the side. I got a tiny cup, 1/4 full of dressing. Love MOD. Love this location. I am here every 2-3 weeks. Took me several tries to find my right combo. I'm not a thin crust guy and not into too many veggies. But here is the winner...ORDER: Mad Dog, mega dough, double EVERYTHING including the sauce then add double jalepenos and asiago. Done! Best damn combo and the only one I get. And despite some saying they've had to wait, I have never had more than 15 minute wait and it's usually closer to 12 minutes and I have been here about 25 times. It is a good wait to enjoy one of their tap beers. I'm giving 5 star even though I have just one critique and that is the beer. Please MOD, add a few more taps or better yet, keep your beers in stock. Every other time I'm there they always seem to be out of one of the only two tap beers they carry. read more

I really wanted to love MOD Pizza. Their whole concept is right up my alley, and surely my take-out experience at this particular location was a lack of attention to detail by one employee. Especially since they weren't even busy at the time of my visit. I ordered a Create-Your-Own Pizza. I'm a vegetarian and I love a lot of veg on my pies, as well as pineapple (don't judge me). For me, the test for a well made vegetarian pizza is whether or not it's wet upon my eating it. As soon as I opened the box, I could feel the steam rising from the excessive moisture oozing out of the pizza, making my face sweat like I was in Florida. There are really very simple techniques to ensure you are not serving a soggy pizza. The pizza itself was ready on time when I arrived to pick it up. This place offers Gluten Free and Cauliflower Crust options. This is great for people with dietary constraints. Tried it out on a soft opening style evening. Overall, it was good. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the crust and thought it had a cracker like taste/ texture. They do offer thicker crust and gluten free but I didn't try either of those. Sizing was in line with other places but cut in 4 large pieces rather than 8. They offer kids sizes as well which are a nice touch! Toppings are also unlimited for the price listed. No major complaints. Hard to gauge customer service based off crowds but is definitely worth trying! Looks like it may be a good spot for salads too!! Can't forget- they have crunch iccceeeeee!! read more

My husband and I ate here recently. It was our first MOD PIZZA experience. The place is very clean, the team all went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need anything & was beyond helpful. Very diverse team which was amazing to see. The pizza is delicious. It was not super greasy like others. The manager was kind & informative.
