I'm currently holding my receipt from 11/14/15 in my hand, and viewing my bank statement. MOD Pizza charged me a dollar more than what is printed on the receipt. My new fav pizza lunch spot! The pizza is pretty good for the price. Thin crust, nothing remarkable, but decent. The toppings are great, super fresh and out shine the dull dough. The pesto sauce is awesome, although the red sauce is bland. I also like the salads. The mini pizza and salad pair well together. The best kept secret is the blackberry lemonade! Soooo sweet and tart! The prices are great considering the quality ingredients. I wish they had a member rewards program. And brownies... They should serve brownies. I have a lot of food allergies. I met Mike the manager of the store and he was very patient and willing to go over the list of ingredients that were in the foods I wanted to eat. When I said I had food allergies the lady waiting on me changed her gloves to avoid cross contamination without me saying anything. I was so excited when I found out there was a mod pizza in md now, my first experience here was really great, the gentleman who first helped us was very friendly and good at making small talk with us while we waited for our food. The second time I went there was a bit of a wait and it was kinda messy in there but again the staff was very nice and I'm sure they were just short on coverage. I've been fascinated with the build your own pizza places since I first visited one of the first in Memphis, TN. This one is up there as one of the ones doing it right. The topping selection is varied, the crust, to me is right on, relatively thin, flavorful, yet holds up. Definitely going back some time soon. read more

Great pizza and affordable. So many options. My husband loves that he can order as many toppings as he wants, including meats. I prefer mine more simple. They have combinations you can choose from or create your own. The crust is amazing- so light and thin, but crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. read more

We have been a few times. The quality has diminished. They were great when they first opened. Crisp crust, generous with the toppings. Not so much now. Today our pizza is soggy with very few toppings. We ordered, 2 meats, 2 veggies and 2 types of cheese. There were 12 pieces of meat on the entire pizza, very little cheese and very little sauce. Customer service skills are also lacking. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit to MOD Pizza in Columbia. This was a perfectly good waste of calories. read more

Great service, value and pizza! Win win and I just become a fan! DC has several build your own pizza joints and they were pretty good. I think MOD pizza is up there with them if not better. The crust is a good mix of chewy and crispy. The toppings are fresh. You can load your pizza up with so many different ingredients and sauces. I had the white pizza with white sauce, italian sausage, chicken, spinich, basil, red pepper, roasted garlic, brussel sprouts and it was really delicious! The portion is good too. I will return to try their gourmet shakes. And the drinks including homemade lemonade is $1.97 which is a great deal! I will be back! read more

I was a little skeptical at first but this is really a great concept. One flat price and you can pick any number or toppings. There are about 8 protein options and 20 vegetables. They also have about 12-14 pre-selected options which look pretty good. The pricing is also great with their 11" Mod size offering more than enough for one person and possibly two to share. I will definitely be coming back here when I make a trip to the mall!!! read more

Wow! I seriously feel cheated. $4.87 for a 6 inch pizza (barely) that had an ounce of sauce and a couple ounces of what was no taste cheese! I gave a star because it was empty and quick. The very thin crust had zero flavor. I can honestly say I would not go back and will definitely let people know it's not even close to pizza! read more

The pizza is OK. The salad is better. Pizza is about the same as a frozen grocery store pizza. It's good enough for the close proximity of my job. However, the staff, for the most part, deserves negative stars. The same crew has more or less been present since opening. It does seem as if they did get rid of the blonde woman who was the manager. Her customer service skills and attitude could be summed up as "despicable" at best. I won't even get into the details. Majority of the staff is lazy and rude. However they do have 2 standout employees. A cute, short younger African American male and a wavy haired taller white male who typically wears a hat. They are both always talkative and engaging. They never act like doing their job is too much to ask, like the rest. Unfortunately I think the short boy has left, because I have not seen him recently. Too bad. He was my fav. If Mod wasn't convenient to my job, I would never come back. The attitudes of the staff really sour the experience. read more

I've been eating here every day since it opened up a week ago. Pizza was the greatest I have ever had. They're new and innovative, great choice of toppings and very friendly. Delicious pizza and usually quick! Every once in a while if you show up when a bunch of other people show up it can take some time to get through the line but there usually isn't much of a line. Parking can be limited right in front but you can actually park in the garage that is under the apartments. Pizza is great and made to order. Everyone working is friendly as well.
