So many people behind the counter that it was chaos. Several people asked our last name and if it was for here or to go. Finally got through to where you build your own. Staff looked like he hated his job. Was annoyed and condescending. I Asked for more cheese and he was so annoyed. Asked if there was fresh mozzarella and he indignantly said no. I asked for fresh basil and he said that was at the front end. I said can I still have it and he was annoyed again and got it from one of the other staff. We still left a 15% tip for fast food. Then we sat down and waited. I went up to the counter to check on pizza and was told that we hadn't ordered. I said we had just gone through the line and she said oh your order is here. 3 feet down. She was then very annoyed and would call us when our pizza was up. Pizza was pretty good so rating is really on the service. They were very busy and never saw anyone come out and wipe tables off. I LOVE MOD PIZZA! I think one of my favorite parts about this business is that its so unassuming - from the outside I figured it was just a typical pizza place in a strip mall along the main drag. But as soon as I got outside, I was immediately greeted with excellent customer service. It was my first time so the server kindly explained the set up and the system. You can choose your own crust (they have gluten free!) and select as many toppings as you would like to build your own customized pizza. If you feel overwhelmed by that (I did tbh), they have a list of recommended pairings on the wall. From the time I ordered until the time the pizza was placed in my hot little hands, it had been less than five minutes. A fresh, homemade pizza with custom toppings and sauce in less than five minutes. The atmosphere was so fun too - I love their branding! One of the signs even says that the establishment isn't actually about pizza; it's about bringing people together. The inside was so clean and fairly roomy. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable ($11 for a personal pan pizza) and the experience overall almost felt like a high end fast food restaurant because everything was so efficient. First time trying MOD pizza and I think it was pretty good. Me and my girlfriend got the Dillon James, Caspian, and cheesy bread. The Caspian was definitely the best pizza. You can also add any of the toppings you want to the preset pizzas or just create your own. The cheesy bread and Dillon James were okay, but not our favorite. Also the employees were very friendly! However, the woman putting the pizzas in the box said that the Dillon James got scorched in the oven. So I go back down the line for them to remake my pizza. As another employee is remaking it, the same woman comes back and says nevermind the pizza is fine. So that was kind of weird. But it is very quick and pretty tasty! read more

Ive been here a several times already and each time is always as good as the last time. The food is awesome, the staff is genuinely friendly and the store looks great with a great vibe and music. I MODified my classic pizza the calexico (red sauce, mozzerella, gorganzola cheese, chicken, jalapenos, buffalo sauce finish) and added spicy chicken sausage and mama lils peppers because i like it hot. $7.87 for their 11" pizza with no additional cost to add more toppings. Unlimited for one flat price. WOW!! pizza was done in just a few minutes. The staff was very nice and seemed to work well with each other. I learned that MOD has their own radio station because the music was pretty great. They opened another pizza joint down the street and i went to their grand opening. I tell you i will only go to MOD. The food was good. Service was useless. All the trash cans were over filled and needed to be empty. I had no where to put my trash. When I was done. Also the entire soda machine had no syrup I tested all the flavors so all the drinks were sparkling water..... All they had was tea. Which I don't drink. So I got water and still paid for the cup any ways because service was useless and had I didn't feel there was a solution nor did I think my time was worth her refunding me for the cup. I really like the flavor of these pizzas. I ordered the 11 inch style and the crust came out then and crispy just like I like it. Well the pizza was delicious I have a problem with the fact that they were so busy it appear that they didn't take much time to top the pizzas the way you would expect a custom place to do. When I got home some of the slices had no meat on them at all while others only had two or three pieces. The flavor was great but I thought I was short changed on the toppings. I will admit when I got there the store was a zoo and it seemed that every single employee was busy just stacking up the pizzas to get into the oven. The manager kept telling them over and over make sure there's a number on every pizza. There were several customers who were having problems with their orders as well. Mod Pizza is an interesting idea for a pizza joint. All the pizzas are thin crust, you just pick the size. You can then pick from a very large assortment of sauces, cheeses, and toppings at no extra cost. They then cook the pizza in a brick oven, which takes just a few minutes. My first visit I was a bit too adventurous - I didnt like the gorgonzola cheese on my pizza, it was too strong. My second visit, I skipped the gorgonzola and the pizza was good. My issue with Mod Pizza is the size and cost. The large pizza is ridiculously small. I left the place still hungry. I would equate the mass of one of their large pizzas to one slice, maybe a slice and a half, of a large pizza from Dominos. On top of that, a large 3 topping pizza from Dominos is cheaper. I paid over $12 for a pizza and a drink at Mod. A family of 4 would cost $50. Two large 3 topping pizzas and two 2 liter sodas from Dominos would be $20. read more

my boyfriend introduced me to this place by his new apartment and boy oh boy! i was super happy with my meal!!! first of all, the size was PERFECT. he got the mod size 11" and i got the mini 6". i ordered the lucy sunshine and it was sooooo delicious! the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the pizza tasted awesome, and they even have fresh brewed flavored teas and lemonades. my boyfriend ordered the mad dog and added a couple extra toppings and it was super cheesy and good! prices are very reasonable! i'd def recommend stopping by for a quick bite to eat. i can't wait for us to come again! read more

Since we've been in quarantine, I have been doing more pick up orders but decided to try door delivery instead. I have ordered from MOD pizza twice in the last two weeks. I would not recommend doing ANY delivery services from MOD. My first delivery, my pizza was made correctly but they failed to tell me they did not have the desserts available although I was charged. I was able to get a credit but not to my primary card. I decided to try my second delivery a week later. The pizza was made completely incorrect. By this point, I am so annoyed that a simple vegetarian pizza could not be made correctly. I expected more from this company. Domino's and Pizza Hut can correctly make a pizza to order. I was missing several items on my pizza like the mushrooms, jalapeño peppers, Gorgonzola cheese (they used blue cheese instead), and balsamic fig drizzle. Ordered via Uber eats and it was late-maybe the ubers fault or maybe the restaurants fault. The pizza was good, would have been better if we picked it up ourselves - it wasn't hot by the time we got it. The only problem I have with mod pizza is the salad. We ordered a mega ceasar salad and paid $16 for it. It came in a plate size plastic container that was about two inches deep. The amount of salad was about 1/2 of one of those bagged ones from a grocery store that sell for $3. Total ripoff. Otherwise decent value. I was going back and forth with 3 or 4 stars because I just wasn't sure.. The moment you walk in, everything is bright and booming. People chatting it up and seeming to have a good time. This was the first time I walked in here and I was super excited. I stood there like a deer in the headlights because the girl just starred at me like she was just as lost. After a half way description, I decided to do a build your own pizza.. That was pretty easy and there was a decent amount of toppings, I would highly suggest adding banana peppers to your toppings selection. When the guy making my pizza realized he was out of pineapple, he just stood there like he was unsure of his next move too. Are most of these people new? Everyone was panicked and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Honestly, even towards the end of our visit, while a gentleman I am assuming is the manager, started to wipe tables, he didn't even converse with us. The whole staff just honestly seemed rude, but in a manner of just not caring to engage. The restaurant itself was messy. Tons of open tables, most were dirty and stayed that way for the remainder of the time we were there. I saw employees sitting down, possibly for a break, and not cleaning up after themselves. My niece waited at the register area for 5 whole minutes to get a to go box, when I can only assume is the manager, looked right at her and then went to dealing with his employees. I sat and watched this happen, and it was kind of annoying. The bathrooms were filthy too. Some had no toilet paper and there was tp everywhere, the sanitary boxes were overflowing. Having hourly bathroom checks may be helpful. My son and I both had the build your own, some garlic strips, 2 drinks and my son got a dessert. It was surprisingly inexpensive, so that was nice. We got our food and that is the part that wants me to give more stars. The pizza was amazing, the garlic strips were amazing and they have the GOOD ICE!! That, to me, gives a place extra brownie points. I added a balsamic glaze to my pizza and really, it topped it right off. I will be back and hopefully be able to change my stars on this! read more

He has asked for help over and over.. nothing. We didn't get to eat in but my husband picked up the pizzas for us. Their online menu made it easy to place an order.It's nice that you have one price for the pizza per size with unlimited toppings. We ordered two 11in pizzas. My husband had pepperoni and bacon while I had pepperoni, salami, greek olives and spinach. It was delicious! It was a thin crust pizza so someone with a bigger appetite might need the thicker crust or get two pizzas. But about 8 bucks for an 11in thin crust, that's not bad! I love the idea of customizing a pizza so I would go back to try other combinations. The only downside was we also ordered a slice of cake and it was missing from our order. Takeout #2 I ordered a custom salad and garlic strips. The custom salad was the perfect size for my appetite. The tomatoes were sliced vs diced so it was bigger than I expected. In a salad, I would prefer tomatoes to be small so it doesn't overpower the flavor in the bite. The garlic strips were tasty! I would order these for a snack. I wasn't a big fan of the pesto sauce. The strip itself had more flavor than the sauce. I might try it with the red sauce next time. The whole staff were really friendly and greeted me when I walked it. read more
