Good place to go if you're craving mochidonuts. A lot of diff options to choose from. They also have Korean corn dogs too and drinks as well if you're craving it. Definitely a snack place you'll wanna check out

So happy to see there is a Mochinut now open in Hillsboro! There is a parking lot but it shares with multiple popular businesses so it can get a little tight at times. We came a few weeks after their grand opening and there were still balloons and flowers on the tables and we love the bright yellow chairs to brighten up the space! It's a small store so seating is limited (about 3 tables) but they were quite busy with people coming in and out to grab their beautiful mochi donut treats, yummy drinks, and crunchy Korean corn dogs. The price is a little high ($19 for 6 donuts) but the quality is legit and the flavors are fun (and rotating!) We got half dozen to bring to dinner at a friend's. The owners were so friendly and it was the perfect sunny day to visit. The donuts were chewy, not too sweet, and shaped in a way that you can pull little "balls" and mix and match to try all the flavors! However, I was disappointed that the Dubai Chocolate donut was not included in the half dozen donut box and had to be purchase separately for $6.50 (I think?) I wish this was not an additional thing since it is already quite pricey. However, I would recommend everyone to check out this lovely new location to get yourself a treat! We will be back to try the drinks and the Korean corn dogs next time!

The mochi donuts were overall pretty tasty. A couple of the flavors were really good and the others fell flat. The boba was not my favorite especially at the price of $7. The flavor of the boba tasted like jasmine rice to me. It was floral and weird especially when it was an ube coconut milk tea. The ube donut lacked flavor and I was a bit sad with the taste. Texture was great and I would like to go back to try different flavors since they are rotating flavors weekly.

This is the delicious crispy potato Korean corn dog!!

Their donuts are good and they are always changing up the flavors. They have special drinks there but I have not tried them.

I preordered a two-tier lemon cake for my daughter's baby shower for $139, along with two dozen cookies for another $80. Just 15 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the order, the bakery called to tell me that a mistake had been made and they had made the wrong kind of cake. They offered me several alternatives, but with a baby shower about to happen, I obviously didn't have much choice but to accept what was available. What surprised me most at the time was that there was no real apology and no offer to discount the cake despite the mistake. The cake looked nice on the outside, but when we cut into it at the shower, we discovered that the top tier was lemon and the bottom tier was chocolate. The chocolate cake was good, but unfortunately the lemon cake was very dry. The cookies we ordered as party favors were good, so this isn't a complaint about everything we received. What was especially disappointing was having approximately 25 guests at the shower asking about the cake and knowing that I couldn't honestly recommend a bakery I had previously spoken highly of. Afterward, rather than immediately posting a negative review, I took the time to write the owner a letter explaining what had happened and how disappointed I was. I felt that some acknowledgment, apology, or partial refund/discount on the cake would have been appropriate. I never received a response. Mistakes happen, and I absolutely understand that. What determines whether I continue supporting a business is how those mistakes are handled. A last-minute error with an expensive cake for an important event was disappointing; receiving no response when I reached out privately afterward was even more so. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can't recommend this bakery or feel comfortable ordering another special-occasion cake from them.

My hubby has been trying to find a donut shop in the area that has a devil's food with peanuts to no avail. While we were having lunch, he pulled up their website and was delighted to see they do, in fact, offer one! We popped in on a Sunday around 2:00 pm, not expecting much to be left in the case, and were delighted to see a fully stocked case of donut wonders. I wish I had taken a photo, but you can check out others'. The shop is bright, welcoming, and clean. Sadly, they were out of the devil's food with peanuts, but now we know where to come for them! Our daughter got a devil's food with coconut, she got a maple old fashioned for her partner, I got a glazed chocolate with coconut, and my hubby got a devil's food with rainbow jimmies. I presume the owner helped us, based on the glowing reviews here. He was, indeed, warm and friendly. When we got our box of donuts home, I noticed he had put some complimentary donut holes inside, which was a sweet (literal and figurative) surprise. I didn't have a chance to eat my donut until this afternoon. I had put mine on a plate with some plastic wrap, and it was just as fresh and tasty as if I had just picked it up. Ironically, when we lived in the East Bay, CA, our favorite donut place for years was also called Donut King! It feels like the universe is sharing some sweet serendipity with us. THIS Donut King has it all-- fantastic customer experience and service, and a wide variety of fresh and delicious donuts. We look forward to returning!
