Disappointing Service and Poor Hygiene PracticesI visited this location for the first time to purchase some donuts for a late-night birthday snack. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by poor food handling and unprofessional customer service.I witnessed a clear cross-contamination issue when the server transitioned from operating the cash register directly to handling food. Instead of washing her hands after touching the register, she simply put on a pair of clear gloves and retrieved my donuts. Wearing gloves does not replace proper handwashing protocols between tasks.Furthermore, the donuts were packed in tight paper wrapping rather than a protective box. By the time I drove just a short distance up the street, all of the icing had rubbed off onto the inside of the paper. I immediately returned to the shop to show the employee the issue and requested a fresh set placed in a box. Instead, she took the exact same ruined donuts and placed them into a box.When I pointed out that the icing was still completely ruined, she refused to take accountability. She blamed me for the issue, stating I should have eaten them before leaving and claiming that putting them in a car causes the icing to melt. This is entirely inaccurate, as professional establishments routinely utilize boxes to protect their baked goods during transport.Between the lack of cleanliness inside the shop, the unhygienic food handling, and the combative attitude of the employee, I will not be returning. read more

Super cute shop and I'm so excited about this place. I've loved Korean Corn Dogs since my initial introduction to them in Hawaii back in 2019. Always excited when I find a place near me that has them. I was not familiar with the donuts, but I'm so glad I got to try one. Will definitely be back to try more flavors. I ended up getting an original half/half hot dog and a funnel cake donut. Both were delicious! Didn't get to try a drink this time, but I'll be sure to try one next visit. They have plenty of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was pretty quick as well. Great experience overall. read more

This place is really interestingly decorated. I'm a manly man straight dude ain't no way I'm calling it cute but I did maybe "squee" a little inside when I walked in. Fight me. We had some green teas (a pineapple, a strawberry, and a passion fruit). You can ask them to make it regular, half, or no sweet. Passion fruit was 1/2 sweet, other two were regular but even the regular weren't overly sweet which I liked. I was expecting them to be just absolute "diabeee" teas but nope not at all. We also got 3 mochi donuts. I'm not really a donut guy but these were good. Different from "American" donuts, the dough itself really wasn't very sweet at all. All in all it was pretty good I'd like to go again to try a Korean hot dog. It was pretty pricey, almost 30 bucks for the 3 drinks and 3 donuts. read more

We tried this new place out. Suuuuuuper cute!!!!! Suuuuuper pricey. Ouch. Three drinks and three donuts was $27. The drinks were good. Not overly sweet like I feared they may be. The donuts were undeniably delicious with a very cute presentation. Friendly employees. Fun place. It won't be a regular place for us with those prices. But I would go again. Since they opened I been trying to make it to Southaven, but busy weekends and getting sick prevented me from doing so. However it was worth the wait. The last time I had mochi donuts was before I had moved to the area almost 9 months ago, so you can imagine how excited I was. First off my son wanted a boba drink, so he ordered the tiramisu milk tea with boba. I only took one sip which tasted good, and he drank the rest to himself. We ended up getting a half dozen mochi donuts. The first one I tried which turned out to be my fave is the dragonfruit. The donut is made perfectly with the right amount of mochi in it. We also had a tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, matcha, Nutella, and s'mores. I also love how some have a little extra to them, the matcha has a pocky, the tiramisu has a wafer stick, and the s'mores has a marshmallow. I will definitely be making this a must go to everytime we go to Southaven. read more

This was my very first visit, and it was worth it. The restaurant has bright colors and decor. The smells of baked goods flowed throughout the air. The restaurant had a nice size crowd for it to rainy Friday. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The service was indeed great, I also tried the straw berry milk ta with strawberry Boba. It was delicious along with my coconut doughnut and flaming hot sheets corn dog. Great place for Korean Hotdogs and mochi donuts. They also have boba tea. I enjoyed my food tremendously! The people were very kind and helpful. I asked for recommendations and they were very nice. The decor is too cute. It was bright and clean with pink and white colors. There is a nice wall that has the name of the restaurant. Would be a good backdrop for Instagram. I will return! read more

The service was great but the food was so nasty that I would not recommend it to anyone and I will not be going there again.

I'm giving this place a 2/5 because my green tea was bitter and my food was wrong. When I sent the food back, they gave me the same hot dog with a few hot cheeto crunches added. The customer service was ok. It could be better considering it's a new business who's trying to improve their clientele. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. All hot dogs have sugar on them as well. It's too many different flavors on the hot dogs which makes them clash. read more

This is the cutest little shop I've ever seen! Mochiautsu is new to the area and today was my first time trying them. I ordered the 1/2 dozen ($19ish with tax) since I bought them for my son. These donuts are HUGE! They are so big that I was able to take two donuts and split them between four kids (my cousins). I also gave my son half of one due to the size- so even after sharing with five kids, I still gave 3 1/2 donuts left that I doubt I'll be able to finish on my own. They are made fresh and in store which was nice to see. While waiting I was able to look into the kitchen and see the donuts and hotdogs being made (hot dogs made to i order). Other employees were also seen prepping fruit for the juice. So it's safe to say that all menu items are truly made in shop and not shipped in which made the price a little more reasonable. The cashier was so sweet and nice! She made sure to pay attention to each customer while also not falling behind on orders. The decor on the inside is very trendy and cute. I love how they made it feel like a hangout spot for local teenagers (it is close to a school). I would recommend visiting if you're near. If you're older like me- these donuts are sweet but tolerable. Due to the different flavors you can play around with your sweetness level and find one or two that you like. They do not charge extra for mixing and matching flavors which is a plus. 10/10 place! read more
