I was at Bramalea City Centre on Wednesday after work. I had eaten an early dinner at the north food court. I was staring at this CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice place as I was eating. Getting some bubble tea afterwards would be great. I walked over. I saw two women leave the counter without any drinks. They seemed disappointed. I walked up to the counter and got a friendly woman. I ordered my usual, which was a large strawberry black tea. I get it with no sugar and less ice, and add coconut jelly. The woman asked if I'd be okay with a strawberry-cranberry version instead. It wasn't what what I had in mind. This store had a shortage of strawberries. I was game to change things up slightly. What I'm not a fan of is folks telling me that my drink will be sour without sugar. I realize that they mean well. However, I have been cutting out sugar in my drinks for over a decade. I'm okay with it. I also had to explain that the coconut jelly has sugar, so it's not like this drink will be super sour. Same goes with the strawberries in it. She admitted that I was right. No kidding! It's my go-to drink at CoCo, minus the cranberries. It's not my first bubble tea rodeo. I tapped to pay for my drink. I got a text for my receipt. I then waited patiently for my drink, which didn't take long to make. I didn't see the $3.99 drink special until after I had ordered my drink. Next time! My drink was ready. I thanked the woman. She seemed more interested talking to her two other colleagues in Mandarin after I got my drink. My drink was yummy. The strawberries were naturally sweet. There were cranberries that were more on the sweet side than tart. This drink was cold and refreshing. I loved the coconut jelly. It's a decent stall, minus running low on strawberries at 4 pm. We got two of the special bubble teas (3 Guys and Bubble GaGa) Both are delicious with lots of toppings. Overall, nice location, good bubble tea and friendly staff!

So happy this tastes delicious!…read more I was excited to see a new bbt spot so close to home. I was stalking their grand opening all year lol. Finally decided to try it on a Sunday right when they opened. I was the only one there. I went with the original milk tea in size regular, duh, with half sugar and less ice. I love the cups, they're so cute and so aesthetically pleasing. First sip, and I was nodding my head yes. The black tea flavour is strong and I think it was even stronger since I got half sugar. It was the slightest bit bitter but again, I got half sugar and this didn't bother me too much. The black tea shined through. There's not much to add except this is a strong competitor against Chatime and BR black milk tea. I would say the flavour is a little stronger at Kung Fu. Also, I didn't notice until after paying but Kung Fu also has bubble cake!! Soooo excited to get one! Now I don't need to travel all the way to pmall, but I hope it's just as good! I'm really hoping this establishment/location survives the pandemic. I will defs be supporting them!

Finally, a Kung Fu Tea close to home! Honestly, the interior…read moreis amazing, the staff were friendly and decor was great. Service was a little slow because everyone was in training still, but it was a soft opening with 20% off everything. In comparison to the Kung Fu Tea in Mississauga, something seems lacking here... Like there isn't enough flavor in the teas. I got the Lychee Iced Tea here and it was more Lychee than tea. While the Mississauga location was a lot more flavorful and had both the tea and lychee flavors pop. The Brown Sugar Tapioca was lacking sugar here... As if not enough sugar was added... On a one-to-one comparison, I would rather go all the way to Mississauga for Kung Fu Tea.

While we were waiting for our drinks we sat at this really cute window nook and just took in the peacefulness. The server was very helpful with tea selections and knew which teas paired with what flavours. I got the non caffeinated tea (picture) with honey, no sugar, with grassy, and no ice. My wife had a mango tea with foam. Our drinks were perfect. I love that it was zero fuss. Surprisingly not very busy but we did just have a killer snowstorm. I'm definitely coming back here more often.

Tip: Get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. It's delicious!…read more After having a not-so-stellar Yelp experience at Ramin Isshin, I left the eatery with fellow Yelper friend, Jason. I felt like getting a drink. I noticed this Chicha San Chen and wanted to check it out. Jason joined me to work off some of the ramen that he had devoured. I've been to the Chicha San Chen at CF Markville. This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I was going to ask the man behind the counter if he had them. Instead, he said that he'd be back and I could look at the menu. It was delivered in a not-now-I'm-busy tone. It was odd. It's the only reason why this place doesn't get five stars. I'm so glad that Jason was with me. He said that the woman at CF Markville suggested that he get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. I decided to go with this drink. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. I drank it too fast... haha! I had a great experience with my friend's recommendation. I like that there's lot of parking in this plaza. I'd return again for more good bubble tea. Maybe staff will be more cheerful then. (437)
