Solid dessert spot. I wish their matcha flavor in the latte and soft serve was stronger but it was still good, especially for Colorado where there is no Matcha Maiko. My friend got the dubai chocolate topping on their milk base soft serve and that was pretty yummy! It's in the same plaza as Hmart so plenty of parking.
Stopped by for a mocha latte. The latte was delicious. Mocha was clean, upbeat, and happy. The staff was friendly. The inside smelled like heaven. We will have to go back and get some doughnuts and soft serve. They can be busy and they are pricey -so bring ya wallet. Parking is in a huge lot outside. Handicap accessible. Bathrooms were clean. We had fun and ours noses were tickled with the sugary smells.
I absolutely love the melon soft serve here because it's so light and refreshing! It tastes just like the melona ice cream bar! The matcha affogato was also really good. The spot is really bright and clean and everyone there is always so nice. Perfect dessert shop to visit after getting hot pot.
Love this dessert spot! It's hard to find matcha softserve in Denver so I'm happy to have found Mocha during my last H-Mart run. Pick from a variety of options--soft-serve, boba, affogato, blended, etc.. There's something for everyone! I got the matcha soft serve with strawberry mochi. The flavor combo was ideal! The Greek yogurt soft serve tastes just like tart froyo but is a bit more airy. The service was on the slower side but we were there during a busy time so it was understandable! The employees were super kind and patient, and it was clear that they were working quickly to get orders out. The inside had a few tables and was clean! I'll definitely be stopping here for dessert whenever I'm in Aurora.
My first & second visits were in April of 2023 when I was visiting my son and his wife. Mocha was having their Grand Opening back then. We were able to order from the Ice Cream Menu for 50% off. This shop is located in a pretty large shopping center. Parking is free and plentiful. There's a nice restroom inside the shop for customers. The interior of this place is very minimalistic. There are some sayings on the walls. The color scheme is mainly white with the writings in black. I finally came back again yesterday Oct 10, 2024. I was greeted as I walked in. It wasn't busy, only one group of two women ahead of me. It didn't give me much time to decide what I wanted, but I already knew, so that was good! I ordered, paid, and got a pager. When the pager goes off, you go pick up your order. This place was super clean when I was there. What I've tried are the Matcha & True Milk Swirl, Matcha Ice Cream with Strawberry Mochi Topping, Matcha Espresso Affogato, as well as the Churro & Matcha Mochi Donuts. I really love their soft-serve ice cream! I say that it's dense for soft-serve, but it holds up well and doesn't melt rapidly. It had a creamy and smooth texture! The Matcha Ice Cream is very Matcha-y and there is a 50¢ add-on if that is your only flavor and a 25¢ add-on if it is swirled with another flavor. They have a plethora of items on their menu. Some options are Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Coffees, Teas, Sparkling Lemonades, a variety of "_____CCINOS" (Blenccino, Yogurtccino, Milkccino, Slushccino), Mochi Donuts, and Cream Buns. They also have a weekly flavor of ice cream. Next time I go, I think 'm going to get the True Milk Ice Cream with Honey or Honeycomb topping. There's a shop in Gardena, CA called Honeymee that I go to that serves this. I want to compare because I love the combination!
This place was across the street from a competing mochi donut establishment and it was packed in comparison (for good reason). The menu is extensive, but they had a great selection and friendly staff. Ordering is straightforward: you look at the menu and step up to the counter. If there is a wait, they'll hand you a buzzer and you can sit (if there's seating) until your order is ready. The mochi donut itself was delicious. Crispy, soft, and perfectly sweet. The cream bun was soft yet firm, but not overpoweringly sweet. Our drinks were refreshing: lychee lemonade and a cotton candy slushy. We'll come back!
I love their doughnuts so much!! I love the chewy texture and variety of flavors ! My favorite is the strawberry one. I didn't get the cream filled donut BUT I have tried them before and they're delicious!! I'm not one for filled donuts but it's not glooey it's more fluffy and airy like whipped cream almost! The service is also amazing every time and they're very clean. Will continue to come back. Pink (strawberry) Green ( matcha) Chocolate (obviously my boyfriend liked it ) Yellow (mango) Light Brown (brown sugar) Fruit pebble one is SO GOOD - 1st TIME TRYING 10/10
Delicious soft serve, some of the best I have had in a very long time. Their True Milk ice cream is creamy and delicious and is absolutely amazing combined with any other flavor like coffee or matcha. They're super fast and it's always a nice spot to hang out with friends. Has been favorite dessert spot for nearly a year and a half since I tried for the first time
I was craving ice cream and decided to try Korean ice cream. When I stopped by at Mocha the place was packed and busy but the cashier was very friendly and helped us to decide what to order. The place looked clean and neat. Their customer service was great, when my order was ready the cashier handed my order with a smile on her face making us feel very special. Definitely coming back again.
Mocha is a cute little dessert shop located near H-Mart and a handful of other Korean/Asian inspired businesses. This was my first dessert stop in Colorado and I made sure to make it count! Upon entry, the decor reminded me of shops in Korea which was very fitting. They have a pretty large menu that offers soft serve ice cream, floats, slushies, boba, coffee, mochi donuts, cream buns, and more! It's truly a one stop shop for all things dessert. If you need help deciding, there is a small display that showcases some of their baked goods. I went for the True Milk soft serve with sea salt caramel topping. I also got a half dozen mochi donuts with flavors like oreo, matcha, taro, black sesame, and milk tea. I also got another half dozen of all the cream bun flavors, lol. I had a milk flavored soft serve in Korea that I loved and was hoping this would be similar. It was creamy, thick, and good, but it didn't quite hit like the other soft serve I had. The mochi donuts were also pretty standard. Milk Tea and black sesame were probably my favorite of the bunch. The star here are the cream buns which reminded us of the cream buns that we got in Korea. Each piece was so cute and artfully crafted. I almost felt bad eating them. My favorite was the True Milk, but honestly all of them were really delicious including matcha and strawberry. Highly recommend trying out the cream buns and stopping by here for all your dessert needs.

We came during the soft opening, and there was a steady flow of customers. The interior was very clean and brightly lit. An all black and white interior, to let the products pop. A surprising photo op was the bathroom hallway lol. There isn't a big seating area, but as soon as people left, a staff worker wiped the tables and chairs clean... so we could make a sticky mess devouring our food! The soft serve was really a show stopper - the texture was fluffy and smooth, just the right amount of dense creaminess needed in a soft serve. You can tell it is much better than less-quality soft serves that are icy and grainy. The taro soft serve was the flavor of the week, so of course I got it and was happy with it. I don't often find dessert shops with taro soft serve! The matcha soft serve definitely had the strong matcha flavor we love! It even had a nice aftertaste. Highly recommend either of these soft serves! Mochi donuts are a must order. They are chewy donuts made from tapioca flour (hello gluten free eaters!) As someone who appreciates donut holes because of the bite sized experience, I had fun eating them. You can break off the pieces to look like donut holes. It's fun to have multiple flavors and share with friends. Strawberry and chocolate Mochi donuts were tasty! The grand opening is April 10 and they are offering half off soft serves until April 16! Get it while it lasts!! read more

First timer at Mocha and the Matcha Swirl ice cream lives up to its name! I really enjoy Matcha tea and this ice cream was a fun twist to the classic (pun intended), I also tried my first mochi doughnut (got the oreo one) and it was really decadent and sweet which reminded me of Krispy Cream doughnuts. The creme brûlée doughnut was fantastic! No skimping with the creme filling in that one which I appreciated. The vibe was cool and service was great. I'll be back to try the bubble tea next time. read more

This is a super cool dessert place, especially if you like matcha! The menu is large and they have lots of options, but it's probably better to go earlier in the day. When I went at night, they were out of waffle cones and when I went around lunchtime, they had waffle cones. My favorite part had to have been the Mango lemonade! I'm not a lemonade gal, but it was sparkling and tasted more like mango. It was yummy and not too sweet, like their ice cream. Definitely a place that I want to take my mom to. Service is average and nothing special, they are pretty quick with getting orders completed. In terms of the ambiance, this is definitely more of a place where you'd want to get your dessert and eat somewhere else. There isn't a ton of seating inside and the lighting feels hospital-esque. read more
Docking a star because the cashier seemed like she didn't wanna be there :( we went a few weeks ago during their grand opening weekend and it was packed. The place itself looked very nice and clean and they seemed to have a good system going with the buzzer letting you know when your food is ready. Unfortunately though we lost our table when we went to grab our stuff :( Since we went during their grand opening weekend they had a 50% off ice cream deal! Normally the ice cream is $4.95 each. The docked star also includes that they didn't have any indication of what the flavor was and the cashier seemed annoyed to answer my question when I asked. For the ice cream itself, the flavor was good but the consistency was super thick. It was kinda similar to what was essentially frozen whipped cream. Not sure if I would go again since I prefer more of a soft serve but maybe if they have different and unique flavors! read more

I've been waiting for good matcha soft serve to come Denver! I still reminisce the days strolling the streets of Japan and enjoying the best matcha soft serve in the world. Now... we have it in the streets of Aurora. I can't say I love mochi donuts or the pastries, I find them way too sweet. But the affogato , matcha soft serve and yogurt are very satisfying. Yogurt is true yogurt... tart and smooth. Matcha is also authentic, so expect some bitterness. If you are feeling adventurous... dip a mochinut in your soft serve! read more

True milk isn't like regular ice cream. It's smooth but thick at the same time. It doesn't melt quick and holds its shape. Definitely am unique texture. And it's not overly sweet. The owners are so nice & friendly and everyone looks so pretty everytime. Make sure to sign up for their rewards for discount codes and freebies. read more

The food is very good. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well. But the only thing I don't like about this place is how stingy they are when you ask for light ice. They won't serve you the drink like the other drinks on the pictures that are full to the brim because you ask for light ice and they literally tell you "we won't fill it if you ask for light ice" and as you can see in my picture my drink is not even close full. They charge extra when you ask to fill it up more which I don't think it should be that way if I'm being honest as you pay $8 for a drink for them to do that. read more

Mocha!!! To be honest, I was skeptical of this place thinking it was going to be another typical Mochi donut shop, but there's no place like it in Colorado. Their soft serve ice cream is so buttery smooth and isn't too sweet -- I could eat it all day! Us: Matcha Matcha Affogato - so good! If you love Matcha and a latte, this one is for you! You can actually taste how premium the matcha is. Friends: Cookies n Cream in a waffle cone + Strawberry Cheesecake - highly recommend both! If you're a strawberry lover, the latter one is for you. We didn't get a chance to try the Mochi donut, their cream donuts, or the rest of their extensive menu at this time, but we will be back. Tbh, I'm writing this review at 11 am the next day, and honestly, I might go back again today. Lol Staff is so friendly. Lighting is super bright. Ain't nobody falling asleep in here. Vibes and music were so great that we stayed for 2 hours and hung out. The line of customers was constant, and I can see this shop being so successful! Parking: Easy. It's located in the H-Mart shopping center so there's plenty of parking. Just watch out for the pot holes. It's pot hole city up in there. Makes you think you're going off roaring for a bit. Mocha just opened and I'm so happy they did. They have delicious soft serve that's like a combination of ice cream and whipped cream, it's super creamy, but also light and not too sweet. It's perfect! I really enjoyed it the first time I came by the second time and got their true milk flavor. I've also tried the mixed flavor of matcha and true milk, matcha was great and had a little bit of bitterness. They have regular and chocolate cone. They also have other items as well, such as donuts, and coffees. I'll definitely come back here and make it a regular routine. read more
So the treats here are as good as the lights inside are bright. The mango, chocolate and strawberry donuts are great, the the cream filled donuts are amazing. The folks behind the counter are very friendly and explained the food and drink options quickly. They had great drink flavors including honeydew. I'd describe the inside as a comfortable place to enjoy dessert. The ambiance is like a megawatt-futuristic-bistro. Very delicious would sum it up. read more

I kept hearing about this new little mochi donut place and I'm so glad I went! This is a small little shop in the H-mart shopping center, so it's a convenient walk over after some shopping. Everyone was extremely pleasant and really helpful answering our 394748 questions about the different options they had. We tried a couple different frozen yogurt creations and some of the donuts. We have to say that strawberry cheesecake and cookies and cream froyo were our favorites. The froyo wasn't overly sweet but still had a great taste. The matcha was also really good. You could definirte taste the matcha, whereas I've found at other places it's pretty bland. The donuts were also great. The consistency and textures were just as expected for a Mochi donut. Not too spongy or too dry. We do want to try their sparkling drinks at some point too, the lady helping us raves about them. The pricing was absolutely reasonable. They don't jip you on toppings, which was great. We got plenty of toppings and it was a good amount of each. Finding this place and absolutely loving it is dangerous, I find myself here way more than I should! read more

As it was our first time here, we ordered mochi donuts. They were soft and chewy. Matcha soft serve was good too. Try to come earlier in the day, as they do sell out of items quickly. We stopped by here during their grand opening and availed of their 50% off ice cream. This new dessert place is in the shopping center where H-Mart is. The place has a cool, bright modern interior. We ordered of course our favorite flavor- Taro. The soft serve ice cream is very creamy and dense. It is not overly sweet and was good. My companion got the chocolate cone which has the right balance of sweet and chocolaty flavor. The service was fast and efficient. We'll be back to try their mochi donuts. read more

Loved the green tea swirl ice cream. It was the softest soft serve I've ever had. Like a freaking marshmallow. You have to try it yourself to understand what I mean. The sesame mochi donut was ok, I've had better before. The LIGHTING though. You do not want to come here if you're hungover. Or maybe you do because it will definitely wake you up. Aside from the extremely bright white ceiling lights, all the walls also reflect the lighting and it is just BRIGHT AF. We came at night and all I wanted was some sunglasses. I swear, if they sold sunglasses there too, they'd make bank. $$$ read more

Highly recommended!! Wow one of the tastiest true milk soft serve! Brown sugar boba was delectable too! Last time I've had such a delicious milk soft serve was in Tokyo and that was 17 years ago. Service was fast and easy. New, simple black and white colors interior. Open late on Sat (5/18/2024) till 10 pm and we walked in around 9:45 pm there were other customers coming in too! read more

Ok absolutely get the cream donuts they are divine! The crème brûlée was my absolute favorite! So good and decadent; perfect for sharing. Also you can't go wrong with their ice cream either. Matcha and milk swirl was lovely as well; though I couldn't finish it as with the donut it was sugar overload. I don't get to Aurora often so I had to go all out and try it all. Friend got a Matcha affagato which I thought was a really nice and unique offering. You can also get that with espresso. I absolutely must stop in to try their coffee and tea offerings as I had already had my breastfeeding two cup allotment for the day when I went. All the more reason to come back and get more crème donuts lol read more

This place is so amazing! I was driving by looking for ice cream and happened upon Mocha and was thrilled. I got a cookies n cream with true milk soft serve and a mango sluccino w/ brown sugar bobas- both were delicious. The soft serve was soo creamy and delicious and the mango slushy was refreshing. I can't wait to go back and try more things from the menu. Definitely recommend stopping here for a sweet treat!!! read more

Really cute shop with a good array of mochi donuts, matcha and coffee drinks, and creme donuts. The owner was super kind and gave us a creme donut on the house since it was a soft opening. For the matcha soft serve, I found that it was not as strong as Maiko (another well-known matcha ice cream chain) but also not as bitter. The softserve resembles a custard like ice cream, rather than a more icy taste. Great for those who may not like the intense bitter taste of matcha, but may not serve for those who love the intense flavor of matcha. That being said, the Flotcha (matcha float) was a really great when it came to intensity of matcha and serving size. They were also really kind and got me the coffee float because there was a mistake in the order. I would recommend doing the matcha soft serve with the matcha as the coffee was great, but when you have the option to go with matcha- why wouldn't you? As for the creme donut, I found the filling to be super similar to the frosting that asian bakeries use in their white cakes. It's not overly sweet, and it's not overly heavy like straight whipped creme. I think I would like a donut with less filling, and a little but more dough action. I found that it was tough to eat a whole creme donut with no other flavor. Mochi donut had the right amount of chew and bread like texture, so it hits my qualifications of "delicious", especially for only $3.75. You'll find, if you've tried other mochi donut places, that sometimes they can run too heavy with the dough (indicating that they've only used rice flour and not a blend of AP flour and rice flour), so it's always a delight to find a bakery that has mastered the best of both worlds: bready and doughy Overall, I do realize that Mocha positions their custards as "True Milk" flavor, so it makes sense that their custard is very heavy with dairy. Not sure if my appreciation for flavor went down after ordering too many items (it was still worth it), but it does run on the heavier side of dairy, so take care my lactose intolerant buddies. Overall, check out this place, and try our their matcha and donut products! read more
