At Mocean, they treat their customers like a true "ohana" (Hawaiian for "family"), which is what helps them build and retain a loyal local client base. I cannot say enough good things about MOCEAN. We outdoor enthusiasts on Cape Cod are so lucky to have an awesome, family owned and run outdoor gear store for all our adventure needs. They have the BEST selection of every brand each season, and if they don't have something you need they are happy to find it for you! There is nothing stuffy/pretentious about the store or staff. They all clearly love where they work and what they do. It's a store where you feel comfortable asking for help, or just stopping in to browse and chat about surfing/SUPing with the owner. I had a really nice shopping experience in this store in Mashpee Commons. The store carries a wide variety of clothing, shoes, coats and gear. The sales staff was superb. Katie helped me find several outfits, putting together different pieces and bringing them to me in the dressing room to try. She brought some boots to show how the outfit would look with boots, and knew all about them. (Waterproof, good to minus degree etc). She was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She also helped my husband with shirts and backpacks. She really went above and beyond to help. There are several stores carrying clothing/shoes/etc in the Commons, and this is by far the best both in customer service and variety. read more

Had a wonderful experience with MOCEAN. Arrived on vacation and wanted our kids to try something new. Call MOCEAN, after hours, and left a voice mail. Within minutes the owner, Ryan, texted me back with a few questions on what we were looking for. Thee following morning Ryan arrived at our rental unit with two paddleboards and all the accessories. He then gave us all lessons and let us go. The kids all popped right up on the boards and had a blast all day. At the end of the day, Ryan stopped back and picked everything up. My cousin and I have been coming to mocean for a few years but now that you are moved into the new store we were able to bring more family along. I cannot say enough about the customer service we received. We were all look for the cape yeti products and showed up at the store just as the shipment did. The owners couldn't have been kinder to open the boxes and find what we were looking for. The one product they didn't receive came the next day and they put it aside for us to come back for. Mocean is my go to store for all of my casual clothes and especially my North Face clothing and gear and all of Reef flip flops, Camel backs and much more. Things were grim when I broke a piece on my SUP today (last day of vaca). I went to a surf shop that didnt have the piece I needed to get back in the water. That store recommended Mocean. I sent a message to Mocean and got an immediate personal response. They told me to head in and they had the part. Ive been going to this family ran surf shop ever since they opened they have excellent staff that help you and give good advise about surfing or if your interested in skating.
